Swords Dance of Dark and Light

Ito Kai sat in a small cantina, on the outskirts of a small town on Thustra near where Ito had buried his fiance Luci. He'd come to pay his respects on her birthday, and while not easy, he was able to get there because of a favor an old Mandalorian friend owed him. Taking a short rest before heading back to the landing area for a ride home, Ito sat in a small booth and looked at his datapad, scanning through several bounty boards to find work for when he got back.

The cantina was bustling. Gangsters and smugglers smothered the floor, all trying to enjoy a peaceful drink. The odd bounty hunter was littered in the waste bin you could call a drinking hole. Jhin was merely here as a scout, to see if this ugly planet had any military strategic value. But he couldn't concentrate with all this content in the area. It was quite foul.

He had heard on the grapevine that this was a decent spot for a drink. It didn't look like much, but first impressions aren't all. He walked with motive towards the bar and took a seat, trying to blend in as much as he can. One... Alcohol please? He had no idea what he wanted. He hoped the rest of the trip was like this, he couldn't be bothered with any problems.

Ito looked up from his datapad, only to see someone enter and take a seat. Someone with the exact opposite aura of a jedi pouring from them. He knew this because he'd seen several Jedi while he was at the Luka Sene, and this man did not feel the same. Ito sensed darkness and pain radiating from the man Ito presumed to be Sith, so he figured he should mess with him for a bit. When the bartender placed the Sith's drink on the counter, Ito pushed it off with the Force, raising his hand slightly before giving the glass a telekinetic shove.

With a bang, the glass split into a hundred pieces on the floor. Jhin looked puzzled. He turned behind to scan the crowd, no one suspicious.

He apologised for what happened and asked for another drink. Keeping sure to hold this one tight.

Ito, thankfully unseen, decided to try again. This time, however, he focused a bit harder and lifted the liquid from the glass to drop it on the Sith. Lightly smiling to himself, Ito realised he should probably get ready to fight, so he moved his right hand down to the hilt of his vibrosword.

Leaning back in his chair, he pondered about life the universe and everything. Why was he here? Was there a meaning to the events that have transpired? Is there a higher life form that has a plan for everything that happens in this universe? What part did he play in it? But to be honest, he couldn't of cared less. He forced himself up from his seat and turned to look at the cantina.

Your attention please everyone! Jhin shouted. A wave of hushed silence rolled over, the only sounds you could hear was the odd cough and the sounds of the bar music. I have just been informed that there is someone among you who thinks they're a funny man. So..

Jhin pulled out his specialised lightsaber and struck down a random patron nearby. If they don't reveal themselves within the next minute, this place will get a new coat of paint.

Ito stood and drew his vibrosword, approaching the man. "Don't you think that's a little harsh? After all, it was in good fun." Ito stood completely still, then came up into his stance, the tip of his blade pointed at the man's face. Now how can I get this outside, Ito thought to himself, ready for anything he thought the Sith would throw at him.

Oh it was you then? Think you're jokes don't you. Using his power, Jhin slammed the cantina door with such force it broke the lock, meaning there was no way out for anyone inside. I'm really sorry to say everyone but you have all become collateral damage. Because Mr 'look at me i'm hilarious' thought he could spill my drink.

Jhin adopted his backwards grip on his lightsaber and stared into the Miralukan's soul. You make the first move friend, it would be rude for you not to.

Ito kept up a calm facial expression, but tightened his grip on the sword. "I would say its your turn, since I started this." Ito kept his sword's tip facing the man, mentally preparing himself for what might come from the Sith.

Without a second though, Jhin swung his lightsaber in an uppercut fashion towards Ito Kai's head. He knew that would be easy to block, so just before he made contact, he turned off his blade to throw him off guard.

Ito saw this uppercut as a chance to get around the Sith's lightsaber, so he sidestepped to Jhin's right, simultaneously angling his sword at a diagonal for some extra defence in case the Sith swung back at him from the side. Seeing that nothing had come because of the Sith deactivating his lightsaber, Ito went in and stabbed right at the Sith's chest.

Jhin etched a smile upon his face as Ito stabbed towards his chest. Twisting his wrist to the left, he activated his lightsaber. Deflecting the blow out wards. He then took his opportunity to reach out with his left hand, aiming for Ito's neck.

(OOC - I'm gonna assume the lightsaber is in your right hand)

Ito, not surprised the attack was parried, was about to go in for another attack, but was then a little confused when the Sith's hand was headed for his neck. Without thinking of any other option, Ito switched his grip and reached out with his own right hand, grabbing Jhin's left wrist. Then, Ito twisted it, hoping to eventually frustrate his opponent into doing something stupidly predictable.

And something unpredictable came. Jhin started to love this fight, he hadn't fought like this in a while. He embraced the twisting of his wrist and lunged his head forward for a headbutt to the bridge of Ito's nose, to try and throw his enemy off.

Inwardly, Ito was shocked. He could sense enjoyment coming from the Sith when he twisted his wrist, and all Ito could do when he came in for the headbutt was put out his right shoulder, to intercept the attack. Meanwhile in his left hand, he swung his vibrosword horizontally at Jhin's right side.

Jhin didn't even notice the vibrosword slicing the air towards him. He was too focused on his next move. His whole fighting style is similar to drunken fighting. He focuses on transferring his momentum into a constant barrage of attacks, twisting his body into unpredictable shapes. He learnt this because he realised it was something that was impossible to adapt against.

Since his headbutt had given his body forward momentum, he continued and pushed forwards. Lunging with his whole body and pushing Ito backwards and off balance. Any controlled strike heading towards him will either surely miss or lose enough power to only put a light scratch on him because of their unbalanced stance they were now in.

Right when Ito's blade made contact, he was shoved straight backwards, only leaving a small cut. Ito's grip on Jhin's left hand was released as Ito stumbled for a moment, before regaining his balance and charging in again, this time his vibrosword back in his right hand.

With his lightning fast reactions, Jhin span behind him towards a cowering bar patron. In one quick movement, he pushed her into the blade of the charging miralukan, impaling and killing her instantly. Without time to breathe, Jhin drew his lightsaber and decapitated her in a shallow downward motion, not stopping his blades descent he aimed for Ito's arm.

He was secretly proud of this, with his vibrosword still impaled in the woman, he could not pull it out in time to stop his strike. And the fact he cut through her body first disguised his angle of motion until it was very difficult to stop the strike.

Ito gritted his teeth as he impaled the woman, as he killed an innocent. Then to make it worse, the Sith decapitated her. Although Ito couldn't see from what angle Jhin's next attack was coming from, he could sense that it was coming in moments. So, he let go of his sword and spun with a kick at Jhin's face, drawing his pistol simultaneously, and then Ito fired off two shots at him.

Jhin planted his right foot firmly into the floor and leant backwards to avoid the kick narrowly. The pistol shots came towards him straight after. Jhin had no time to dodge, so using his limited force ability, he reached out with his left hand and attempted to dissipate the energy across his body. Only leaving a slight stinging sensation along his palm.

You're pretty good. It's a shame you have to die. Jhin cracked a harmless smile with a obvious bloodlust behind it.
