Weapon Image- Law Giver from the Stallone Judge Dredd movie.

Affiliation-N/A

Ownership- D' Orrin/ Ghost, Juliana/ Whisper, R3V39/ Raven

Intent- Creating a blaster pistoll capable of putting the target down in two or less direct hits.

Model Number- T-X

Type- Heavy Blaster Pistol (Altered/ Enhanced)

Size- Heavy Blaster Pistol

Composition- Durasteel casing and reinforcement, Electronic Components, Power Cells

Range- 50 Meters

Ammunition Capacity- 7 Shots

Description- An enhanced version of the T6, The T-X was designed to ensure that whatever the target, it goes down in quite literally a couple of shots. Due to the amount of energy and the discharge force, lightly armored vehicles and personnel are easily dealt with, with a single shot. Heavily Armored personnel, and some vehicles such as troop transports may take upwards of three to four bolts striking the same area before being compromised and dealt with. The amount of power generated for each attack is done by using a heavy capacitor that forces the weapon to draw on and channel twice the energy from the power cell.

Due to the power output of the weapon, and the fact that it can't be fired with one hand by someone with a normal range of strength, it makes blocking with a lightsaber almost impossible. As far as blocking a bolt with one hand, that is impossible. But it is possible to block with two hands. But even then such a feat is incredibly difficult due to continually stated force of discharge. After a few shots the wielder of the lightsaber may find themselves disarmed.

Due to the durasteel reinforcement the weapon is capable of withstanding the demands of the power generated without overload or meltdown. But the force of kickback is something that was wanted. That much force generated ensures that few can use it properly. Something of a failsafe measure. Since the weapon is designed to look like a heavy blaster pistol, someone unfamiliar with it may assume that the design is the same, and in firing will have their wrist snapped.

I really recommend cleaning up the formatting. Look at the Unified User Tech Database and see how those profiles are written. That way these write-ups are just... well, prettier

Actually, I am using the format. There's simply not much to the explanation due to the fact that I like to keep things simple. I'm explaining something. I'm not going for "pretty".

Still, you could boldface the section headers, add pictures, those kinds of things. Just a suggestion

I'm well aware of what I can do. If I wanted to do that, I would have. As I said, I'm not going for "pretty". I'm just filling out required fields and performing needed explanations. Bells and whistles don't ensure that the submission gets approved.

Extra formatting isn't required if it's got all the relevant information needed, Sentry.

That said...not really seeing why this needs a write-up. If it's more or less just a heavy blaster, it's still standard tech.

It's a heavy blaster with twice the fire power. As I explained in the other write up, it's better to be safe than sorry. I used these weapons in a prior forum and was told they needed a write up, so I'm just covering my ass, as the expression goes. But essentially each weapon is two blaster pistols in one in terms of power. Hence the reference to firing a 13 MM handgun with one hand. Without the physical strength to withstand the recoil it'd snap your wrist. I figured something like that would need a write up before I went ahead and just started using it.

See, that's the kind of things you need to say in your intent section. Without info like that, I'd have just been all 'meh, archived.'

Intent's really important, so the more information you can give us there, all the better. So I'll leave this here for now and give you a chance to tweak it and flesh it out some more.

Well that's what I was doing in the description section, after I just edited it. I'll add it to the intent section as well.

It got messed up, somehow, but you can still see it. The T-X Model is styled after the old Stallone Judge Dredd Law Giver gun. I'll take it down later.

Considering how powerful this is, would you mind making it seven shots? Also, by heavily armored vehicles, do you mean tanks and walkers, or more along the lines of troop carriers?

Hey. Sorry about that. I didn't see the response to the thread. But no, not a problem at all to make it seven. And yes, I'm pretty sure I meant tanks. I haven't looked at the design since my last post on it.

Then that would most likely have to go, this is a blaster pistol not a blaster cannon. Anti-vehicle cannons are large and almost always in turrets of one type or another. You can have missiles and the like, maybe even a big rail gun but they would have to be heavy weapons not heave blaster pistols.

Yeah, I'm not going to approve a pistol that can take out tanks. I'd be ok with it being able to penetrate a lightly armored troop carrier in a couple hits in the same spot, but that's as high as I'm willing to go.

Fixed. Downgraded to troop transports/ Carriers since they have lighter armor.
