Tacitus Corporation

History: An organization put together very recently by a man known as Tidus Cole to fulfil his dream of exploration. It quickly grew from a cartography group to a full scale Corporation with professional scientist/engineer, military and naval sectors. Backed financially by both nameless donators, larger organizations and banks as well as his own out of pocket money. Tidus is currently collecting mercenary forces to fill the need for man power, with a few basic requirements to weed out the weak links. He is advertising by word of mouth, and the news has traveled across the galaxy to space ports, cantinas, and smuggler havens. Those interested were told to meet at Skip 32, one of the only undamaged asteroids at Smugglers Run, with their own equipment and ships.

Details: Created to dodge the laws of the Galactic Alliance when it comes to what is legal to produce and use, as well as to explore the uncharted reaches of Wild Space, the Tacitus Corporation is doing everything they can to get a foothold on the galaxy. Their equipment currently is a bring your own stuff deal, with plans to re arm the troops once the production is full swing.
