It was a quiet night in Coronet City, where Essaru had taken up residence for now. And while she had a ship she could be sleeping in, somehow she found herself restless this night and had instead taken to wandering. At the moment she was standing on the top of a building and staring up at the sky to see the stars. To actually see them she had been forced to smash a few lights, but that was an expense for someone else to worry about whenever it was noticed. She didn't think anyone had heard the glass shattering, or at least no one had come up to ascertain the cause of those lights being smashed in the first place. She wasn't going to question it, she was up here for some peace and quiet, and that's what she had. And she made full use of it, concentrating on her Heart and using it to simply feel the night sky above her, though there wasn't much action up there to feel. Still, it made her feel kind of like she was flying, and it was a nice feeling.

It would also make her something of a beacon to anyone else who could feel Heart, but she was not very concerned with that. She had learned of the Jedi and Sith, but their use of Heart was quite different then hers, at least when it came to how it felt upon a person, or the feeling it gave off to others. So even if they noticed her, they wouldn't think she was from the opposite faction and be coming for her, though she was decently well armed regardless of that. Her sword she had left behind tonight, but there was a pistol strapped securely to her waist that could certainly pack a punch when needed. And when it came to other Ayuutani feeling her heart - well, she hadn't met a single one since she had been exiled, so she had stopped even thinking to shield herself from others of her race.

Nemo's arms hurt, her shoulders ached, and her back felt tighter than a taunt bowstring. Groaning, the little girl gritted her teeth as she stretched in the little apartment on Nar Shaddaa. It was very late, and Yuri was sleeping peacefully in the bed in the other room. Looking at her hands, Nemo sighed. She couldn't see them in this dark room, and that bothered her. Of what little sight she had, she lost it everytime she entered a dark room. Growling quietly, Nemo stepped outside of the little apartment and sighed.

Nar Shaddaa was a dark place, and Nemo had long ago learned to cease reliance on her own sight as a method to find her way through the night. Breathing deeply, she called upon the Heart and allowed its beating flow to aid her in 'seeing' all that was around. Looking about, she noticed that, in her blindness, she missed little. Nar Shaddaa could often be just as quiet as it was dark. Looking to the side, Nemo saw someone sitting, or laying down(she could not tell), on a rooftop nearby. Her Sight allowed her to see through walls and many floors, but someone of that distance was usually out of Nemo's range of vision.

Assuming this person to be of interest, Nemo wasted no time in immediately entering the nearby building and moving straight up to the roof. Unbeknownst to the little girl, her presence would be just as strong as the woman's, and two similar presences of their species was a rare sight outside of Ruusan. Too rare to be a simple coincidence most of the time.

It was a feeling unlike any she had experienced in - well, much too long. Since before she had been exiled, really. Her contemplation of the night sky while lieing on her back was interrupted by it. One of her own people, here? She almost didn't trust her Heart, thinking perhaps she was just imagining it, or attaching the feeling to someone who wasn't Ayuutani. But as it grew closer, she could feel that it really was another of her race. Why were they here, and where - never mind, she could tell that she was the destination, or at least along the path of this person. There wasn't much else around that she could see, her cybernetic eye the only reason she could actually see anything in the darkness at all.

She considered standing and pulling her pistol out to confront this fellow Ayuutani when they approached, but decided against it. Instead she simply sat slowly into an upright position, facing towards the door to the roof but with her head still upturned towards the night sky, but her head lowered when that door opened. Her Heart and cybernetic eye cut right through the darkness towards the girl, her eyebrows raising just a bit at the apparent age of her. It wasn't often one so young was exiled, so perhaps she was actually a diplomat of some kind, or had left of her own accord? That was assuming in the first place that she had been born on the homeworld.

She decided to test it. Without a sound, she spoke to the girl. A combination of light touches of Heart and her hand coming up to signal, with the stars she hoped there would be enough light to see it. She often forgot that most of her people couldn't see in the dark, having grown so used to her implanted eye, which even now would be shining in the darkness of her socket. Just in case, she only used the hand a few times, mostly relying on Heart to send her greeting. "Hello, little one. I am Essaru. Are you here for Death?" Her years spent away from the homeworld had taught her to be cautious, and though this was her first time meeting someone of her race since leaving, she could be civil later. First she needed to know where they stood.

Nemo stood motionless as the slight brushstroke of Heart swept across her mind. Hearing and feeling the words of the woman, Essaru, was calming more than Nemo could have ever thought possible. The pain in her body fell away as the calmness took over her body. Stepping forward bravely, the little girl walked over to where the woman sat and promptly sat herself down next to her. Looking up to the sky, yet not being able to see it, Nemo responded by reaching out with her own Heart and brushing against the mind of Essaru.
"I am Nemo, and I search for a cure to this pain."

And with that word, it ebbed back, and Nemo realized why it had gone away in the first place. The drug that eased her pains and reduced swelling had been automatically injected into her system, but they weren't working very well. Wearing off far to quickly, the drugs needed to be restocked, or Nemo needed to get a full cybernetic system implanted and her flesh removed. Looking at Essaru, she asked without speaking.
"Why are you here?"

The girl came and sat next to her and she relaxed, also looking back up towards the night sky. With a thought she shut down her cybernetic eye and was immediately plunged into darkness; this was exactly why she always had the eye on. Once you lived with sight, it was hard going back to life without it. Sometimes, however, it was good to remember where you came from and what you were. And with one of her kind sitting next to her, it seemed like the right time. She felt the connection of the girl's Heart to her mind, the words sent clear and easy for her to understand. She was no stranger to this, had likely grown up on Ruusan. She looked over at the girl at the mention of pain, her cybernetic eye restarted with a thought and searching the slight form. "Why are you in pain?"

She considered the question asked of her for a moment before responding, using just Heart now and no hand motions at all. The darkness made those impossible to see. The question was one she had difficulty answering, but only because she wasn't sure of the subjectiveness of the 'here'. Did Nemo mean it as in here in Coronet or as a 'why aren't you on Ruusan?'. She wasn't sure, so she would answer in a way that worked for both. "I am a Wanderer - an Exile. I have been searching for a purpose, because I've lost mine." She paused for another moment, then continued with a question of her own. "Where are your advanced pieces? Are you to be a Leader?"

Nemo waited for a moment. This woman, she felt trustworthy, and instinctively Nemo began to look up to her as any child would do with someone older than their-self. Once Essaru finished, Nemo hesitated momentarily before replying through her Heart.
"I am like you, in a way. I am a Warrior, and I am in pain because I am still incomplete. I have not been exiled formally, but I might as well have been. My parents are dead, and I am being raised by my savior, my Kesediji. My own people, they would not have me around with no one to raise me."

Nemo closed her eyes and hopped back. Focusing through her Heart and gathering its light around her, Nemo began to speak aloud.
"I am in pain because my body revolts against me, and I am in pain because I have no family. Yuri is my papa, yet he is not. I have no sisters, I have no brothers. I feel, confused. I do not know love, yet I want it. I cannot give anyone love, not even my Kesediji. Yet I want to try to help someone. My wants, they confuse me."
Nemo, without realizing it, had begun to send a rambling rant towards Essaru. Absentmindedly, the girl began manifesting her Heart into her hand, naturally forming small sparks of lightning. This was not an uncommon thing for Nemo to do, it was a concentration act.
