Nirn was meditating in the center of the chamber, her face relaxed, eyes closed, her breathing slow, and she was in a sitting position. Her legs were folded underneath her. Her fur was smooth and unruffled. Some may consider her even beautiful in this state, but she would deny it. Her hands were folded neatly in her lap, her shortpike right in front of her. She was waiting on her new apprentice, her first. She hadn't even met the boy yet. She had sent him a message saying to meet her here, in her training chambers.

Tal was walking down a hallway after receiving orders that he would begin training under Jedi Knight Nirn Pirta. With his calm black eyes focused and his long brown hair hanged neatly on his back, enjoying the feeling of the sun on his slightly tanned skin. As he neared the chambers of his new master he attempted to reach out with the force to test his abilities in sensing others. As he came closer and closer he could feel his master's presence, who he felt was much stronger at this moment with the force than he was. He silently entered her chamber and gently sat down to meditate behind her until she felt his presence, which he made own by allowing the force to run through him and pulse outwards.

Nirn felt her padawan reach out with the force, searching for her. It was good that he could already search like this. As far as the Jedi knew, he hadn't received any training, so the fact he was able to use the force was a good start. When he began meditating behind her, she didn't move. Best let the younger Jedi collect his thoughts before training began. They sat like this for several minutes before Nirn took a deep breathe. "A pleasure to meet you, Tal. I am Nirn Pirta, your new master. I will teach you what I can about the force. We will begin with meditation each session."

She stood, opening her eyes, revealing piercing silver-blue eyes. "There's no point to delay any long, though. Today, we will begin with your force wall. If you know how to force push, try it on me, and I will demonstrate." she said, taking a wide stance.

"Yes master" was all that the soft spoken Padawan said before rising and collecting a good amount of force energy into one of his hands, and as before he also focused on the center of his body. As he did before, along with a theory he had, he attempted to pull the force from the center of his body to use it as a catalyst to empower his abilities. With one breath he send a wave of force energy through his body and watched as it barreled towards his new master at great speed.

Nirn raised her hand, calling on the force, creating what equated to a solid wall around her body that absorbed the push completely, the wind from the push ruffling her clothing. She lowered her hand, looking at him. "If mastered, the force wall can stop nearly any force attack, from lightning to a force push. To create one, call on the force, and condense it around yourself. It will take concentration." she said, folding her hands in front of her, watching with interest.

"Well...alright, I'll give it a shot." with that said Tal took a few seconds to collect his thoughts and gather a mass of force energy at the center of his body once again. Once he did this he folded his hands together, slowly moving the energy to his palms and throughout the rest of his body. The force slowly blanketed him, becoming slightly visible before being slowly pushed out to create a field around him. Tal then outstretched his hands to slowly expand and empower the field as best he could given his abilities.

Nirn nodded, impressed. To erect a force wall on the first try was impressive, even if it was a simple ability. She reached out with the force, prodding the wall. It seemed stable enough. "Good. You can lower it now. Gather your energy. When you're ready, erect another, this time as fast as you thing you can. Don't over exert yourself, but I want to see how well you'd do in a fast paced environment. Sometimes you'll only have a fraction of a second to erect one, and while I don't expect you to do that on the first day, I want to see how well you've grasped it. Don't worry about failure, you've already impressed me." she said.

"Well I am using my body as a catalyst, granted it helps me magnify the scope of my force abilities slightly, but it does kind of wear on my body a bit. Then again in my current youth I guess that the worst that could happen is extreme exhaustion." Tal said with a look of slight concern while recollecting the force. Once again he sent the force to blanket his body, only this time it seemed less substantial with it forming a field at a slightly faster rate with it appearing almost as a liquid with its instability. As he held his hands out in an attempt to keep it stable, small droplets of sweat started to appear just above his brow with the effort needed to keep it together.
