DESCRIPTION​

The Tactical Carbine mk. 31, or TC-31, was designed by BlasTech Industries as a cheap, compact blaster carbine for open market use. The TC-31 was designed before the Clone Wars buts it sturdy, portable design and solid firepower have made it popular with planetary forces, mercenaries, and even civilians to this day.

Complete with stock the weapon is only 0.48 meters in length with a light weight and solid design. The weapon fires medium blaster bolts from a 50 round magazine with a maximum range of 100 meters. Beyond this the TC-31 sports a few small design features that can mean the difference between life and death in a firefight. The forward barrel is open in the middle, helping to vent heat between shots and give the weapon a faster rate of fire than other blasters of its size. The compact stock also comes with an open slot that can store a spare power pack, making reloads quicker and easier in the field. All in all the TC-31 is a rugged and reliable weapon perfectly suited to modern battlefields.

LEGALITY​

Legal. Ownership of blaster rifles is not restricted in most of the Galaxy, however openly carrying such a weapon in public might be on more "civilized" worlds. On less civilized worlds, it still might draw unwanted scrutiny.

Intent: Why? Why did you create this? No, seriously. Weapons are judged with greater scrutiny than other tech. Guns in Star Wars go "pew pew" and burn your opponent, that's pretty much all you need to know. If you're submitting a weapon for approval, it needs to be pretty exotic or special. This will influence any ruling made on your technology, so please explain at length what your intentions are.

Secondly, a note before you start submitting tech, be aware that Tech Mods are now looking at intent more strictly. A submission has to sufficiently explain why the site needs it and why it should be approved. ...
