Ten threads in ten days

Greeting friends, Rebels, countrymen!

So it seems like people are finding things a bit stale in here, and I'm really itching for some new threads. So here's what I want to do; start ten different threads all related to getting Rebel stuff done.

What kind of threads? Any kind, but here are some specifics on what I'd like to do.

• Missions
  Lots of missions need doing, but in particular it seems like we're really close to completing the Liberation of the Arkanis Sector mission pack. There are a few completed, one in progress, and two currently sitting idle. Let's get those done, and liberate the heck out of that sector!
• Social
  If anyone just wants to hang out and get to know their fellow Rebels I'm totally down for that.
• Training
  I don't know about you guys, but my character could certainly use some practice in a lot of areas. Piloting, shooting, practice duels, you name it, I'd totally love to do it.
• Story
  So there are lots of story things I'd like to do, not necessarily related to the missions or attacking the Empire and what have you, but more exploring the dynamics of the Rebellion. I mean we've got Mandos, Imperials, Scoundrels, and good old fashioned Rebels. Surely there are stories to be had in there! A long time ago in a thread far far in the archives there was some discussion about doing story related stuff to taking the Imperial Marshall's back to their Imperial Knight roots. Let's get started on that!

I don't care who you are, what character's your playing. If you've got a Rebel, let's do some Rebel stuff.

I'm going to wait until next Monday, and then I'm going to post one thread a day for the next ten days. And that's regardless of whether or not anyone even so much as reads this!

I feel you there mate so maybe keep the participation low for each individual? But barring computer failure, I'll have the time to respond to everything within at least two days, if not sooner. I wouldn't be offering if I wasn't sure I couldn't be active enough to actually do something like this.

I've been otherwise occupied for that last few weeks so it's kinda my fault "The Captured Crown of Arkanis" mission got bogged down. I'll try and get a post up today though to get it going again. Once I get more caught up and stuff I'd be willing to lend my rebel [thread=60980]Hira[/thread] out, I've yet to do that much with her which makes me sad.

EDIT: People seemed to like the idea at the time but it never went anywhere cause the Rebel leaders wanted to wait till some of what we are already doing got completed but in the faction's current state I think if people were interested enough that the rebel leaders might consider going for it.

Spoiler: Short Rebel Mission Pack Idea

Here is a rough sketch for my idea of a 3-5 set of missions for the rebels set on Aquilaris.

Rebel Mission Pack

Governess Malkia Ya’Uhuru of Aquilaris has sent out an encoded message hoping it would reach the Rebel Alliance. Her people have found an old factory on one of the abandoned floating cities. This factory still appears to be operational, however this city is not as abandoned as the Governess would like her people to believe, pirates hold up in some of the districts, and Ya’Uhuru fears there may be underwater tunnels connecting the city to the old capital, and thusly to the new capital. Governess Malkia Ya’Uhuru fears for the safety of her people, but Aquilaris does not have any army to fight off the pirates. If we can get a team into the tunnels to sabotage the tunnel connecting the two capitals and a couple teams to clear the pirates from their base in and around the factory, the Governess will allow us to set up a base in the abandoned city and use the factory to repair our smaller spaceships. Aquilaris could prove useful to us.

I couldn't agree more. I strongly urge to increase interaction between the Rebels and the Jedi, both OOC and out of an IC perspective. I believe both factions should expand their efforts to better understand each other. The first step would be, of course, social and training threads. Let's make that happen, I say.

Sweet! How about something on the hangar deck of the Rebel Dawn or maybe the Corusca? Since I know Forim's got a lot of starfighter piloting cred, and Enfali might just be poking around and seeing what the deal is what all that.

Yeah stuff happens. I'm not in the The Captured Crown of Arkanis, or in charge of anything (or dear god, I hope I'm not) though. I'm just saying it looks like we're pretty close to finishing off the Endor Pack, and if we can knock out the Arkanis one maybe the Rebellion can afford to buy Bac tickets to a Lana Del Rey concert!

As far as Mission Pack stuff go, I'd say send it Loco's way. I'm not really in the loop, but I'm fairly certain he's already lot of fun new stuff coming down the pipe judging by the all construction work going on around here.

Nonsense, keep those darn hippies at a distance! I hear one of the Council members doesn't even shave. If we're going to be getting closer to them we clearly need more Mandos to offset their lack of awesome armor and flamethrowers.

For realsies though more interaction with the Jedi is awesome, as is more interaction with all the other factions.

I would but I just got back to the site a few days ago and I have a ton of threads to get caught up in, I should be good to go in a few days hopefully so we can do it then if you'd like. Like I said, I'm not starting this until next week, that's when RL slows down enough for me to start really. And after that it's one thread started a day for a ten days, so if you want Undine we can bump the Nebula mission further back (BTW anyone else want in on it?) I've got a list on the first post I'm going to use to keep track of it all.

Hm, can't say that I have anything specific in mind but its mostly due to that I don't really know what's going on with the Rebs at the moment. Have they done many Jedi joint missions lately?

Avery's got some skill in the security/slicing department, maybe she could tag along with a some rebels trying to hit someplace that involves gathering intel? Just an idea, but like I said I'm pretty much down for anything where a Jedi might fit in with you hooligans.

There's stuff going on, on Endor, and Yag'duhl between the two but the Endor ones are mostly full, and the Yag'duhl ones seem a bit much for the two of them imho.

Maybe there's a small chance we could convince TAC to let us do the Keep Your Friends Close mission together? If not I'm sure there something we can think of something. Maybe we could get high and steal space doritos.

That could be fun. Corto Terek would be up for something like that.
