Test Run Questions

I've been debating on test running an idea of mine for the next timeline, though adjusted to this timeline obviously. The thing is he's a sort of tech/code savant that fashioned his own cybernetics (eye/arm) and heavily modifies every piece of tech he owns. With the tech forums being closed until next timeline you can see the issue with a dry run. If I wanted to finish him up for a current timeline test run would I have to find relatively close already approved things and just say "Instead of glasses it's an ocular replacement with a microcomputer built into the skull", so on and so forth?

Another question, though this one is a code issue. Anyone know why spoiler and list codes randomly double over themselves and wind up breaking things or creating a lot of extra space after you edit a post?

*Edit: Also, size coding does this random insertion thing and you have to go through and clean out a bunch of extra code clutter.*

On another note, would anyone be interested in hiring a slicer/smuggler if I do finish an adaptation for this timeline? *Cough* @Nor'baal *Cough* (Yes I'm lookin' in your direction you magnificent Hutt you) Some plotting might give me the motive to finish him quicker lol.

Hmm, I'm not sure. It'll be a little while before I finish a model for this timeline, bit busy this weekend. I'm thinking of starting Jack as an Indie then having him come in contact with the Cartel IRP, which shouldn't be hard considering one of his favored places to be is Nar Shaddaa. Gambling, underground tech, seedy cantinas, all the comforts of a gang raised home. Perhaps answers a dark web search for various services that he can provide, perhaps cheats at a Sabaac den and gets made by a Cartel prospector of some kind, maybe tries to hack into a secret Cartel shell company. Opportunities abound.

The dark web and hacker side of crime on SWRP I've not seen much of, so that route would certainly be very interesting I think :) Norbs could easily get involved there as well, given that he spends a lot of time on the Hutt worlds.

Pieces of tech implants such as an arm or an eye (unless they have a special ability other than hacking or other basic function) shouldn't need its own page in the tech board. If you really want to go in depth with it then go ahead but i don't think it's necessary, just write a little mini tech page in the profile description.
