(POST HERE IF YOU WISH TO BE TRAINED AS A PROPHET OF THE DARKSIDE.)

The prophet steps onto the circular elevator which is located in the center of the dark tower on dagobah. it begins to slowly elevate, and soon reaches the top floor of the Dark tower, a place reserved for the intiation of prophets, and the trials of the jedi and others who have defiled the force.

"Kerberos... come to me so that i might see you."

From the shadows, a young boy around 10 steps towards the prophet. he is wearing a black leather training uniform which bears the mark of the prophets. the prophet motions to him, and he steps closer to his master.

"the time has come, boy... (wheeze) i am weak still... and i need an agent to recruit... (wheeze) the foul hearted who will purge the force of impurities..."

The boy looks rather confused

(kerberos) "But master... i am too weak. i am but a boy..."

The prophet nods

"but not for long."

He motions towards a hallway, one of six jutting from the circular room. the black granite slowly turns into a blood red as the hallway goes on, a phenomenon procured by the massive ammounts of darkside energy that pulses at the end of the long hall. at the end is a black wooden door with intricate carvings. there is a round keyhole in the center of it.

"down this hall you will find... (wheeze) the chamber of knowledge... it is similar to this chamber of judgement, but its energies... are far more.... (cough) potent. go there and study... study until you feel you are ready, then meet me here...."

Weeks, and months pass, the prophet has seemingly vanished from the tower, and the boy Kerberos has been "Studying" in the chamber for a very long time. without warning, the prophet appears from the thin of the air and walks down the hall that leads to the Chamber of knowledge... he slowly raises a hand and the darkened keyhole illuminates, sending out a burst of Chaotic force energy. the door to the chamber opens and the boy Kerberos steps out a man.

(kerberos) "you bastard... you left me for dead! for 15 years i rotted in that hellish place... for what reason should i not gut you?!?"

The prophet cackles malevolently

"foolish boy... you have been gone from this realm a mere 3 and one half months. (wheeze) time within the chamber passes at an exaggerated rate, a key to the prophet's power..."

Kerberos) "i was without food or water, but i somehow preservered. i was mentally tortured by illusions of horrors man was not ment to see, and you blow it off as if it is simply part of some training program?!?

The young man ejects from his fingertips a crimson bolt of lightning, which is caught by the prophet in his gauntleted hand. he reverses it and amplifies its power. the man is brought to his knees howling in pain...

"you would find it wise to watch your smart tongue in front of your lord and master...."

the boy screams in pain, slowly the colour fades from his face and his hair darkens to a deep black. he bellows out curses in an unknown tongue, and slowly gets up once the prophet releases him...

(kerberos) "... i shall do what you ask... you are my one and only lord, and i am sworn to obey you, even if it means sacrificing myself for your cause..."

The prophet nods at the man and turns.

"thats right..."

About the prophets:

The prophets are controlled by a mysterious entity known as the prophet, a very powerful force master. the Prophets believe that the force is a "bloodline", which can only be passed down by decendants of the original prophets. Being able to use the force is a birthright, which should be used to eradicate those who misuse it, and abuse its power and purpose.

The jedi, the greatest foes of the prophets, are one such sect of the force users who "misuse" the force by foolishly using it to protect and guard the people of the universe, rather than using it to prove themselves superior to others through battle, enslavement, and deaths of other infidelic force users.

The prophets are in one aspect dark jedi, but it is through their style of battle and beliefs that they are made into their own faction. they would rather enslave and rule, where the dark jedi would simply slaughter an entire populace. The prophets keep their wits about them in battle, keeping a mix of furious and intense lightsaber combat, and powerful and dark Force powers. they believe that through these strategies and techniques that they have become enlightened in the fine art of the darkside of the force, and that others are inferior, such as the dark jedi. Although the Prophets are a sect of Dark Jedi, they often look down upon their brothers and sisters and label them as barbaric or primitive.

The prophets have a code, which is similar to the dark jedi's. it starts with the same verse, but then a new stanza is added, capturing the aspect and goals of the Prophets.

There is no peace, there is anger.
There is no fear, there is power.
There is no death, there is immortality.
There is no weakness, there is the Dark Side.

For in the Darkness i have been found, i have seen the past and the future.

I accept the prophecies of old, and I choose to follow them as instructed.
I live my life in honour of the prophets and their wisdom, I do not Question them.
I dedicate my life to purging the force of its impurities, and i will never be hindered from my goal

I am a pawn of a greater destiny, which i will do my best to serve as such


There are 3 Major Groups into which the prophets divide themselves, which are described below.

Acolyte:

The Prophetic acolyte is a lower ranking prophet who is new to the world of the Darkside, however, this does not mean that the acolyte should be underestimated. Prophetic acolytes are generally trainees, but there have been many acolytes in history who have become some of the greatest spies and assasins the galaxy have seen. acolytes are generally sent on less intense missions, but seasoned acolytes generally are recruited for stealth ops or are sent alongside other prophets.

Blackguard:

The Blackguard are the most powerfull fighters that the prophets have to offer. their skills in combat are unparralelled, being able to take on most any foe with ease. the Blackguard are the protectors of the prophets, and they lend their blades, blasters, and other arms, to help the cause of the Prophets.

Prophetic Knights:

The Prophetic Knights are the most skilled of all the prophets. the Prophetic Knights are the personal apprentices of the Prophet Himself, and so, they are highly trained in the art of Dark Prophecy. the Knights are trained so that they may live their lives in a permanent trance, seeing everything minutes, hours, and even days before they happen, giving them an edge in everything they do. None have lived after facing a prophet without being trained in the force.
