The Children Aren't Alright
Makem Te, home of the Swokes Swokes people, fell prey to the influence of the cult known as the Children of Alkis early in Darth Malacia's reign as Councilor. Swokes Swokes shamans, learning from the Children, saw Malacia as a heralded figure who would lead them to great victories. Learning of the Force, they mixed their second hand knowledge of the Sith arts with their own ritualistic practices to create soldiers for Malacia to consume and to lead into battle. But as the old adage goes, incomplete knowledge can be more dangerous than no knowledge, and in their ignorance the Shamans have birthed monsters that threaten to ravage the planet. While military forces take out the rank and file cultists, a Sith strike force is sent in to destroy the shamans who lead the cult, the ghoulish monsters they created out of dead and living Swokes Swokes, and retrieve knowledge of the monstrosities they have created.
Description
This is meant to be a horror dungeon crawl with the end goal of killing the shamans and stealing their knowledge. No specific prompts, just have fun with the setting and get spooky. 48 hour posting limits would be appreciated, and dice rolls are encouraged!- [Self-DM/ASK] The Trees have Ears: Your target is a village deep in the woods. With most light cut off by the thick foliage above you, you must venture into near darkness with little more than the light you carry on your to guide your path. But be careful of the monsters around you, for they can see in the dark, and track you by your very scent.
- [Self-DM/ASK] Swamp Monsters: Your target is a village in the swamp lands, hidden in the deep mists. Be wary of what might be lurking in the mists, or where you step, for swamp itself might swallow you whole.
- [Self-DM/ASK] Urban Legends: An overrun morgue is our last destination, the last of the shamans hiding somewhere in its bowels. Old decrepit building, re-animated dead, failing power line, what could possibly go wrong?
