OK, TFU is obviously a game but I make this thread regarding the storyline and how parallel it can be in the EU. Those of you who have completed it will know what I'm talking about... I completed it about 5 mins ago and I was left with the disapointment of knowing that I have played a game that cannot be canon to the Star Wars Universe. What the hell were the writers doing when they thought that ending up???

There is probably a thread about this somewhere else but most of you would have completed this ages ago... I mean, I did it in just under 6 hours.

I made a thread about this around when the game came out, for the story of TFU.

Anyways, I really enjoyed the story. Thought it was the best since KotoR's story.

How can it be the best when Vader dies at the end of it? Its probably the worst bit of EU writing ever, just because of the ending. I think its the only plot thats ever been writen which cannot be argued to be canon.

Um... Dark Side ending is not considered canon. The Light Side ending is, which I like more then the Dark Side ending.

There are two endings? The cut scenes made the decisions for me...

hah yes there are two endings, as I understand it the one where Vader dies was just the developers doing a ''What If'' situation and the good ending where he sacrifices himself to save the leaders of the rebel alliance, thus they use his symbol as their flag, is a canon ending.

When Darth Vader is lying all broken on the floor, and Palpatine is going to execute the leaders, you have two choices. You either go over and kill Vader, or fight Palpatine, rescuing the leaders.

I quite enjoyed the story, however the game was mediocre. Way to much hype.
