Okay guys, you already know the score. Let's come up with a home planet from scratch.

For the sake of keeping things simple and stopping this from turning into a bit of a mess, let's keep it to one thing at a time and work section by section.

First off, let's decide on the basics. The actual environment. Personally I was thinking of something quite hot, quite mountainous, perhaps a lot of jungle as well. Although the natural areas would be quite beautiful, maybe it could be quite a hostile environment outside of the walls of civilization. Here are some visual examples of what I was thinking.

Seeing as it's quite mountainous, I would expect there to be a lot of climbing/flying threats. Because of that, a temple built somewhat like this might make sense. I also thought that the planet could experience some really interesting surreal sky-scapes too, especially at night.

That art is amazing. i think that it has a almost lost city vibe to it, very peaceful and tranquil too. The mountain in the first picture has quite a flattened top, which to me says it is almost like a volcano?

Yeah something must be up with alerts because I never got this. Anyway I very much like the idea of the planet being humid jungle type planet.

With our base/temple on the planet not disturbing the environment to keep in tune with a calm, serene, and natural setting.

The atmosphere doesn't have to be special unless everything thinks otherwise.

The planet can have an extremely large abundance of various native non sentient species that can go with the jungle idea.

Nice. Alot of evironmental protection, totally wild planet, perhaps some just barely emerging sentients we commune with. Vit'al grea up on an animal sanctuary also, so there could be some beasts we co-exist with that protect us maybe?

EDIT* obviously very force sensitive planet....or moon?

Yeah we could have some barely emerging sentients that can be used for npc activity. We can do that either the planet is very force sensitive or have the two moons one immersed completely in the dark side and the other in the light side.

I think having it quite strongly immersed in the force would make sense, though I'm a little hesitant on the whole dark moon/light moon business though.

The two moons thing is a little too conveniently Jed'ai. If there were another planet like that, we wouldn't get to covet Typhon! Their COULD be force sensitive wildlife though. I suddenly want Vit'al to be a beast master, which is already accidentally bio supported..

Yeah that sounds nice a force sensitive planet submerged with natural elements and beauty. However the force sensitive planet might get found out by Sith and jedi maybe.

Well that's part of the risk our very existence seems willing to take.

If that's so than yeah let's go ahead with the force sensitive planet. Now we need to know how big it is, where the planet is, the resources of the planet and some others.

Having an entire planet be connected to the Force seems unnecessarily OP and downright dangerous(what bigger target is there than an entire planet?), not to mention that it likely wouldn't get passed the Admins anyway.
I wasn't going to jump into this, but you guys gotta dial it back a bit. Maybe just a few Force sensitive animal species to start with, get those fleshed out then go from there.
Start small and maybe the big stuff won't need to be quite so big.

An excellent and pragmatic point @Kibagami this is the danger of creating a designer world. I also feel that from a fulcrum POV every planet with life has some inherent connection to the force by virtue of its existence, therefore developing anything special is superfluous

@Kibagami solid points that's why at first I said moons but that is just a carbon copy of Jed'ai.

To me the problem with the moons is more the fact that its a little too designed IMO, too convenient.

@Kibagami By all means dont shy away if you have opinions. However in the case of the planet, I don't think its overly farfetched to just say the force has more of a presence there. OP seems a bit strong when it isn't going to give us anything overly advantageous. I'd have thought of it mainly as a spiritual thing more than anything and perhaps some wildlife could be affected somewhat. The planet isnt so powerful that its emanating the force into space or anything.

Not shy, I've just been down this road of creating entire planets before and I think the whole process is more trouble than it's worth, especially when we already had a planet that fit the bill.

Good that it's not OP, I hope the Admins agree. I just wanted to point out that we don't need to be putting any more targets on our own backs than we already have. I feel like we're covering ourselves in raw deer meat and running up to a bear while screaming "Don't eat me!".

That analogy is a tad dramatic imo. lol Besides, It'll be way out of the way from the conflicts. Not to mention the fact that we're covert in general as it is, even in regards to being on the planet itself our base will be hidden away.

I like the fact that we put our own idea together. You don't read as being particularly convinced though, what advantage do you think it would give us particularly, that might be something an admin might have an issue with?

My immediate imagining was something like the Green Lantern Mogo who could empower the Green Lanterns on it's surface, a definite home-field advantage which isn't entirely OP since it wouldn't discriminate like Mogo would, but I can see an Admin saying something like "The only Force Sensitive planets we are allowing are Moraband and Tythos" or some such BS. But that wasn't my issue, we're trying to be a secretive group and a Force planet just seems like a beacon to everyone who feels it, a lighthouse in the fog so to speak. How covert can we possibly be on a planet that's broadcasting to anyone listening?

Like I said, start small. I'll suggest something that could be vastly more useful to us; a Nexus. Why use the broad scope of a lighthouse when all you need is a focused flashlight...

Maybe we could have an extremely force strong area, like say a waterfall with an extremely high midaclorian(not quite sure how its spelled) count. I see two pictures that could work for that on the top here.

Its Midichlorian, and just a suggestion, but why don't you do it on Haruun Kal, the an almost human species, the only difference being that all of them are force sensitive.
I have a character that i'm trying to apply for this faction. Can anyone except him now? I did post it on the plaanning for independents as well, here's a link to the workshop.
I'm sorry if I sound needy or impatient.
