The Gallows of Nar Shaddaa

Location: Nar Shaddaa​

It was very late on Nar Shaddaa but as always the night never sleeps here. It is an ordinary night at one of your ordinary vice heavens on The Smuggler's Moon. The sound of the music and calls at the many Twi'lek dancers. Sounds of those losing hundreds in Pazaak. Braggarts boasting on their swoop race times. all of the sounds of the Nar Shaddaa nightlife.
Akita sits down to grab a drink with his HK series droid R-17 on his heels. he eyes around the bar and sees familiar faces. Not those he knows by name, but those who he knows by stories and rumors. It has been a few days since the incident with Gruurm yet he still cannot take his mind off of it. after a while he wonders if anyone of note will come in, as all of the familiar faces start to get boring after a while.

(first time trying to rp on here, just a general type thing to hopefully get things started. to know what the incident was check my character's bio. Just trying to hopefully make a few connections)

 

[Koedi Se'Roc]

After escaping the Sith on Tatooine, Koedi and Grandola were tired and hungry. Without much money they headed towards Nar Shaddaa, knowing there are more ways than money to get what you want there. Trying not to attract much attention to themselves, as they are boasting a Sith transport ship, the two land behind a small cantina, enter it and sit down at a booth in the corner. An HK unit sticks out to them seeing as it is the only droid in the joint.

[Akita Dyoto]

Akita looks up at the odd couple recognizing the robes but after a few drinks he can't exactly place a finger on it. R-17 seemed to come to alert by their presence however so he wasn't sure why. He downed his last drink and stood up. Walking toward the two men

 

[Koedi Se'Roc]

As Koedi noticed the man with the droid coming closer, he couldn't help but start to feel defensive. The droid was an assassin droid. He needed to protect Grandola. When the man and his droid got close enough to their seat, Koedi readied his lightsaber.

 

[Akita Dyoto]

Akita neared and finally remembered where he had seen those robes. There were a number of times sith had come through his part of the exchange and suddenly a chill ran down his spine. But then he had realized something. With the man there was a child. Not nearly old enough to be in a bar like this. Fearing R-17 would scare the young one he signaled him to stay back as he approached

 

[Koedi Se'Roc]

Seeing the droid back off gave some comfort to Koedi. He put his lightsaber back on his belt and met the man at his table. Grandola remained in his seat. To start the conversation Koedi said, "Now, I know you know that these are Sith robes, so if you do anything to the child, you will know the power of the Sith."

 

[Akita Dyoto]

"well I saw those robes and the child and wondered why Nar Shaddaa, but I'm not so sure you are here for a fight. I could see how you didn't want to be noticed but in a place like this you never know who's watching. The names Akita. And yours?

 

[Koedi Se'Roc]

"The name's Koedi. The boy is Grandola. Our ship is out back. We are in no way affiliated with the Sith, anymore that is."

 

[Akita Dyoto]

I know how it is to run from a past you aren't proud of, I've been with the exchange all my life and well I don't know where I'm headed anymore. Do you know where you are going?

 

[Koedi Se'Roc]

"I want to train the young boy in the force, but I can't do it alone. I would also like to become a Jedi Master, but there is a long road ahead of us." Koedi motions for Grandola to join them. It seems as if a group of thugs are heading towards them.

 

[Akita Dyoto]

"Oh hell who is this?" *Places hand on the vibro blade on his hip* "Never is that a good sight, if you'd like we can go talk on my ship."

 

[Koedi Se'Roc]

The thugs were right behind Koedi now and before they could even mutter a "stop" Koedi's lightsaber was ignited and the first thug was no more, the brawl had begun.

 

[Akita Dyoto]

"SHIT!" Akita pulls his video dagger and catches the closest thug In the chest and tosses the table over at them, trying to protect the kid. "SHOOT THEM R-17! SHOOT TO KILL!" The droid turns and blasts the one Akita had sliced in the chest, finishing him off and taking the thugs by suprise as he was a ways away from the three.

 

[Koedi Se'Roc]

Now there was an uproar in the bar. Even the most peaceful people just before were throwing punches left and right. People were out cold on the ground or worse, but no one came near the former sith and his new-found allies. Using his force stealth, Koedi made everyone of the group invisible and they snuck outside.

 

[Akita Dyoto]

"Well I guess I didn't have to pay for my drinks" Akita stands in silence for a bit thinking of what to do. "I don't believe returning to your sith ship would be so welcoming anytime soon. Jedu in general are looked down upon here, as everything and everyone is either illegal or wanted for something illegal." Akita looks around thinking again. He examines a newfound dent in R-17 from the skirmish wondering what now. What question should he ask first? Who were the men? Was he now in trouble? What the hell was that stealth thing? He simply just smiles and says, "well what now?"

 

[Koedi Se'Roc]

With the stealth fading away Koedi said, "Well, the boy and I need a place to stay. Nar Shaddaa is a shady place at night. We also need more clothes. I have a feeling our current robes are a bit too light. And Nar Shaddaa is no place for a boy."

 

[Dankar Maple]

Arriving amidst the chaos, the red robe clad figure was taken aback by the fighting, unnerved. Raising a thin green hand she waved from right to left, a green mist rising in the room. "Be calm." She said quietly in hopes of calming down the rowdy bunch. Despite their fighting, she found her way to a table and waited to be served. She had a bag full of jewels, knowing such things would be easier to trade with than money.

 

[Koedi Se'Roc]

"I feel something in the force. Great power is near." Koedi said.

 

[Akita Dyoto]

"Somehow I feel it too.." Akita turns and starts walking back into the Cantina with his vibro dagger drawn and his blaster in hand. "I don't know what's going on in there, but I have to see. Follow me B-17. Feel free to take the kid to get new clothing. Meet me at my ship after if you wish. Its a Ghtroc 720 freighter." He then disappears into the Cantina.

 

[Koedi Se'Roc]

"Clothes can wait, I want to see what this is." Koedi follows Akita in.
