The New Sith Imperium has conquered Yag’Dhul. This task was assisted by spoofing the Givin Defense Forces’ sensor network. After the invasion, the sensors were returned to normal. Since the invasion, the Imperium learned that certain Givin had been giving aid to the Jedi. Among those Givin is former Yag-prime security chief Ertopa. Ertopa has attempted to defy the imperial occupation by sabotaging the planetary shield generators at the Iliad Military Base, along with stealing the compared data, enabling him a program that could mimic the Imperium’s data spoof. Ertopa was recently flagged entering the Iliad Military Base.
OBJECTIVES:
Prevent sabotage of planetary shield generators
Capture or neutralize Ertopa
Optional – Learn Ertopa already transmitted spoofing program

Veronica was standing on a bairn field looking toward the sky. "What does the empire see in this hunk of giant rock?" Most of it was barren and lifeless, with only a few places able to support life. Sighing, Veronica does a remote scan of her general area, to try and satisfy her boredom. "Wow, would you look at that, more rocks!" she says in a sarcastic tone. Veronica was obviously not amused in the fact that her scan had only detected nothing exciting. Just a bunch of rocks of different shapes and sizes resting on the ever-stretching wasteland. She then looks off the in the other direction, seeing the same as before, but with a silhouette of a giant tower like structure emitting an energy like beam toward the sky, wrapping the entire planet in a shield. "And the shield generator is still doing it's job." Looking back up, Veronica see's a ship flying toward her. "My mercenary finally decides to show up." She mumbles. Veronica begins to walk toward to landing ship, ready to see the "Thug for Hire" she ordered.

An Imperial transport. This is what Kyo'Dhii's life had come to consist of. Credits had been hard to come by since he wound up on Korriban, and he spent more than enough time crammed into these little transports, working odd jobs for acolytes. They never payed well, and the sight of Imperials everywhere still made him nervous after spending time in their prisons. The transport finally set down some distance from one of the shield generators on Yag'Duhl, breaking Kyo'Dhii's concentration. He had been meditating during the flight, centering himself for the mission ahead.

The transport took off as Kyo'Dhii walked out onto the rocky ground. Before him was the Acolyte who had hired him; a young woman in dark robes with a height that gave her a powerful first impression. Kyo'Dhii stumbled for the right way to introduce himself, these Sith could be unpredictable, and the force seemed to make them dangerous.

"I'm Kyo'Dhii," he began with an outstretched arm. "Hopefully you didn't have to wait too long." By the looks of the acolyte, nothing exciting had happened yet. Another wild goose chase? I swear these acolytes only exist to be tortured. Most of the jobs he had taken had consisted of following young Sith on foot as they searched for something that wasn't there. It seemed to him as if their masters thought only of them as playthings to trick and tease until they died. Much like his employer, Kyo'Dhii was dressed in simple red and white cloth attire similar to robes with pants.

Veronica with a slight pause looked at the man. He was tall, thick, and... are those horns? He looked to be of Echani decent, but you can never be sure these days. Putting aside the thought of his species, she instead decided that she should probably greet the man. She looked down at his stretched hand and reluctantly shook his hand. She looked back up at him and began to speak. "This planet is called Yag’Dhul and is Imperial territory." "But you probably knew that already." Do you know how the Empire conquered this planet?" She asked him while raising her eyebrow.

The woman didn't seem so threatening anymore after she shook his hand. If a true Sith didn't want to shake someone's hand, they wouldn't give them the courtesy. At least, that's what it sounded like from what he'd learned of them so far. Luckily, the acolyte offered an opportunity for discussion. Although he was genuinely curious, Kyo'Dhii was more interested in seeing how she behaved socially so that he would know how he should act around her.

"Only what I read in the mission dossier," Kyo'Dhii relaxed his posture a bit as he spoke. "It never hurts to learn more. How did the Empire conquer Yag'Dhul?"

"The whole "guns a'blazing" thing the empire is known for, is actually not true. The Empire will take your planet over in the most cheapest, quickest, and most efficient way. What they did here; is send a virus that wiped out all of the planet's defense systems. Talk about a fair fight. They came down and easily slaughtered everyone who stood in the Empire's way." Veronica lets out a small chuckle. "Now that the Givin have sided with the Jedi, they're gonna do the same thing, but toward the empire. They plan on deactivating that shield emitter over there." Veronica points at the generator while talking. With that gone, the rebels can rain hell and retake this planet." So our job is to stop some Givin named Ertopa from putting the virus on the shield generators." After finishing Veronica lets out a deep breath. Looking back up she says "Any questions?"

The girl had a better attitude than he'd first expected. Not as rotten or pirvileged as some of the other acolytes Kyo'Dhii had met. He could tell she would be easy to work with.

"What's your plan?"

"A shield generator is sure to have guards right?" And those guards probably have ID that gives them clearance through the base. If we can somehow acquire these ID's we will be able to slip in undetected but for a short time. We need to do this fast. See those two guards protecting the front door of the base?" Veronica points to the generator. "If you can distract them, I can slip past undetected, get behind them, and quickly dispatch them." "Got it?"

"Pardon my inexperience in this region of space," Kyo'Dhii stopped her for a moment out of confusion. "But, don't the Sith have control of the planet? Why don't you just order them give you clearance?"

Veronica sighs in frustration upon hearing the man's question. "The Givin are the native's of this planet, that have sadly decided to join the side of the Jedi. I am, as you can see, a Sith. and the base is probably going to consist mainly of the Givin, who have joined the Jedi. I would prefer to go in under the disguise as a worker so they don't tip off Ertopa that a Sith is here to slice him in half. And those two guards up there? They're Givin. So I like being undetected better." After her explanation is done she noticeably calms down. "Now get ready to distract them, so I can cloak and take them out. Now make sure you're VERY distractive. Veronica begins walking down toward the base, motioning her arm for him to follow.

Hmm, maybe it'd be best to keep questions to myself around her. With a nod of confirmation, Kyo'Dhii followed closely and kept an eye out for guards. When they approached the entrance, Kyo'Dhii took the lead and assumed a character, giving the acolyte the signal to cloak.

"Help!" Kyo'Dhii grabbed the guards' attention as he limped towards them, wincing at false pain. "Please, you have to help me! They're all dead!" The guards took the bait easily, running quickly to help Kyo'Dhii.

"Please," Kyo'Dhii repeated the same lines as they got to him. "They're all dead." The guards had a concerned tone in their voices as they exchanged quick words in their own language.

"What happened?" One of the guards asked in basic. "Who's dead?"

Once she was given the signal, Veronica began to turn completely invisible, but if someone payed close attention they'd notice that she didn't completely cover the sound her feet made when she took a step. Watching the act, her partner was making, drew a smirk on her face. "He's quite the actor isn't he?" He might have a chance to grow on me." she thought to herself. While Kyo'Dhii was distracting the guards a loud sound of a light saber activating was heard. Kyo'Dhii, while looking at the guard in front of him, would notice Veronica quickly reappear and a light saber protrude from the guards chest. Pulling out the light saber from his chest she quickly decapitated the guard next to him. Sheathing her lightsaber she quickly started looting the corpses. "Ah, here we go. One for you and one for me." She said while handing Kyo'Dhii a ID badge. She stands up, brushes herself off, and stares at the bodies for a moment. "Should we bother hiding the bodies?" She asks while still looking at the corpses.

"I wasn't going to say anything," Kyo'Dhii assumed his normal posture again. "But that's why I was confused about your plan earlier. To answer your question, yes. If you're still interested in being discreet that is. If the excitement got to you, we can always take a more violent approach. I'd prefer the former, but it's your call." Kyo'Dhii continued to search the guards' bodies, taking one of their blaster pistols and both of their ammo. This was the first real action he'd had since his arrest, he just hoped his shot wasn't too rusty.

"Hey," Kyo'Dhii looked back at his employer with a fun smile as he equipped the holster so it could be concealed. "I gave you a perfect setup there: Who's dead?" Kyo'Dhii stood up, ready to move the bodies.

"Yeah, don't want to attract to much attention." Veronica notes while picking up one of the bodies by the armpits and begins dragging it to the side of the base, where it wouldn't be found right away. Veronica walks back to the front and dusts her hands off. "Okay, leave the talking to me, alright?" I have the basic layout an I know where the main computer room is, from the file. No let's go." Veronica says while walking through the doors.

Kyo'Dhii followed, leaving a safe distance of maybe two meters between them. Inside the complex, the heat of the generator warmed the air beyond what was comfortable. Kyo'Dhii couldn't help but smile at the thought of how much energy must be needed to power a shield around an entire planet. Though he knew this was only one of several generators, it was still a marvelous thought. Immediately beyond the door they came through, was another set of guards protecting the same entrance. They had been playing what looked like a game of sabacc, before the Sith and her lackey entered.

As Veronica pasts the guards she waves the card in front of their faces and quickly says "I'm here for basic maintenance, I've received reports that some of the light circuits are damaged." "I'm going to need to go up to the mainframe and do a diagnostics check to pinpoint where the circuit board fried and do a quick repair on the Central Processing Unit. And probably survey the cooling system, too. Those things are quite fragile." The guards looks at the women as if she spoke a different language and exchange words with each other. After a slight pause one of them says "If you're talking about the big computer, it's down the hallway to the left, then down that hallway on the second door on your left. You shouldn't miss it, it's the only door in the hallway that's a blast door." Veronica gives a quick thanks and walked down the hallway. Veronica while walking down the hallway decides to make some small talk. "I noticed you came to the planet without a weapon." "Any specific reason?" "Did you never have one or did you loose your last weapon." Veronica asks, still walking down the hallway.

"I lost my blade a while back," Kyo'Dhii followed more closely now that they had passed the guards. His tone was frustrated, but social. "along with all of my credits, my friends, and my ship. I haven't been able to afford anything decent since then." Kyo'Dhii was thankful this acolyte was easy to talk to, making friends hadn't been easy on Korriban.

"If you're worried about your investment, don't worry. I'm better with my hands anyways."

"This blade, the way you talk about it, makes it sound like it has sentimental value. Is it a family heirloom perhaps?" While talking Veronica has a face as if she's deep in thought. "Is it special enough that you would go out and try to find it?" Veronica asks with a raised brow. 'This guy may be of use, after all...' Veronica thinks to herself.

"Without a doubt," Kyo'Dhii answered, surprised at her interest, not to mention her ability to recognize all that through his voice. "My mother had it made for me on Eshan, it's worth a lot of credits. Probably in some moff's trophy room or in a pirate's scabbard. Since when do Sith take stock in regular folk and their lost swords?" Part of Kyo'Dhii wondered if she was just interested in taking the blade for herself.

A smile appears on Veronica's face. "The reason I ask is; that I think we can make a deal." Veronica stops walking and looks him in the eye. "If you want I will help you find this sword. But don't think i'm a goodie two shoes, who helps others for the joy of it." Veronica crosses her arms. "In return for helping you find your sword, I want something. Now, I read your Imperial criminal file, and I says you were a captain of a group of pirates. A pirate, especially a captain of pirates must have a lot of connections, right?" Because I need to find someone, i'll fill you on the details once we find that sword of yours." Is it a deal?" Veronica has her arm outstretched for a handshake while she says the last sentence.

It would mean the world to Kyo'Dhii to get that sword back, he had been through so much with it, but more importantly, it was a symbol of who he was. Kyo'Dhii never really expected to see the blade again, but he wouldn't decline the opportunity to look for it. He was certainly surprised she had taken the time to research him.

"It is a deal." Kyo'Dhii grinned warmly as he she shook her hand. "You know, you never told me your name."
