The Hyndral Star Alliance was founded around 5201 BBY by Jogassi Durbal as a combative defense force in the middle rim. The purpose of which was to create an alliance that was opposed to the Jedi or Sith controlling the region.Jogassi established the central headquarters on the planet Haidoral Prime in 5196 BBY, to further expand their influence on how the war will not further damage or destroy planets in the mid rim.The Hyndral Star Alliance has a combination of Humans and Humanoid species. The alliance contains the recorded amount of 26 Species and sub-species in its ranks, however the most numerous of the species are the Attikarns, which are indigenous of the planet Attar. The Sith(more so than the Jedi, noticed the strategical value of Haidoral Prime and the surrounding system, and attempted to destroy the rebellious forces in the mid rim. They underestimated the strategical skill and numbers of the insurgents, and the Hyndral Star Alliance held strong on the planet Attar and Coyerty and defeatedthe Sith by a landslide. During the battle of the Drowned Gourge on Haidoral Prime, however, while Jogassi Durbal was leading his elite platoon of Rondar Heavy assault troopers, a sith struck him down. Jogassi's soldiers rallied to this cause, and defeated the enemy, while facing the overwhelming 13,000 imperials to their 7,000. This was the spark that the Alliance needed, because when this major victory spread, many other planets joined the alliance including half of Corellia, Nakadia, and many others, forming one of the most powerful forces in the galaxy.
