THe illumination (Darth Viator's training)

[Will]

Ren slapped him to the ground. ''Take the pain! A true Sith will not think of such insignificant things! Now, gather the force into your eyes, and read the message on that sheet of paper.'' Ren pointed to the tiny piece of paper with the impossilbly small message: Passion leads to power

 

[Kaine]

Viator got up and decided to just do as he was told, looking ahead he concentrated heavily on the piece of paper, almost squinting and managed to read the sentence "passion leads to power"

 

[Will]

''Good. Now. Attack me.'' She threw him a durasteel bar, shaped into a blade. Her puppets flanked her, and she kept her hands by her sides, unmoving.

 

[Kaine]

Catching the bar Viator answered "I have a perfectly good lightsabre but your the boss" Viator held the bar in his left hand and ran towards her, swinging it towards her neck

 

[Will]

Ren's fingers twitched, and the puppet to her right held it's arm in front of her, the purple lightsabre wailing to life, and blacking the blade. She flicked her fingers , and the bar was pushed away. The puppet moved, attacking as if it were alive.

 

[Kaine]

On first instinct Viator dropped and rolled back, springing onto his knees he used the force to knock the attacking puppet against the opposite wall

 

[Will]

Ren pulled the puppet back, causing it to fly back into position, lightsabre wailing. She made it swing again, feinting and refeinting. ''Use the power of the dark side to fuel your fighting! Faster!''

 

[Kaine]

Viator dodged to the right and used the force to push the lightsabre out of the puppets hands, grinning he shoved it back again, drew his lightsabre and sliced at the puppet's torso

 

[Will]

As he slashed, the chest cavity popped open, and needles fired out, embedding themselves into him and the surrounding area. It closed, and she made the puppet pick the lightsabre up. It began to attack again, she was making use of the opening.

 

[Kaine]

Viator lashed out, throwing it up into the air, this time he threw it straight down into the ground" screaming "die, die, just die!" he continued to pick it up and smash it against the ground a few more times

 

[Will]

Fortunately, the puppets were made of sterner stuff. She broke off his puny grip on her precious puppets, and made it return to her side. ''Do you know of any lightsabre forms?'' She asked, signalling for him to stop. He couldn't lose control like that again. It made openings.

 

[Kaine]

Viator shook his head "the Sith havn't had much influence in our world for millenia, I only found the temple by accident" he deactivated his lightsabre "all I know how to do with this is just common sense for what you can do with a sword"

 

[Will]

Ren slammed him into the wall with a force push. ''A sword is totally different to the weapon you claim to wield. A sword is a heavy, cumbersome thing, unsuitable for us. Now read this, it shows all the lightsabre forms, with a brief description. Tell me which you want to learn'' She placed him back in the middle of the room

 

[Kaine]

Viator got up and studied the form closely, he saw one he liked "I'd like to learn form V Djem So" he handed it back to her "a good offensive style is what I need"

 

[Will]

''Very well.'' Ren stood, one of her two lightsabres held out. This was the first stance. ''Copy this stance.'' She ordered.

 

[Kaine]

Viator reactivated his lightsabre and copied her stance, there's no way he could mess this up, he waited attentively for his next command

 

[Will]

''And slash like so.'' She showed him a simple attack. ''THen link them into one movement.'' she said.

 

[Kaine]

Viator slashed as he was told and practiced, getting the feel of the lightsabre and its weight in his hand

 

[Will]

Ren showed him more and more moves, attacks, defensive steps and stances. She did each, making sure he repeated it at least ten times, to get it firmly in his mind. Once he had completed that, she turned to him. ''Now, i know you have a lightsabre, but you must make one of your own. Take this datapad to the requisitions officer, and get the necessary parts, and then return here.'' She handed him the datapad, and bade him from the arena.

 

[Kaine]

Viator took the datapad to the requistions office and collected the parts he needed. He was thankfull that he hadn't got lost on his way there, he had already tried his masters pateience and he didn't like the idea of being thrown against the wall again. He returned back to his master and asked "what should I do with my old lightsabre Master?" holding it in his left hand he continued "should I just discard it or keep it?"
