The Kingdom of Thustra.
Origin:
The Kingdom of Thustra dates back millennia. The early Thustran people battled fiercely over their tracts of land, small empires waxing and waning over the long lifetime of the Sephi who oversaw them. Dynasties rose and crumbled to dust. People were slaughtered by the millions.
Until, from the east, Tsey’shan, later known as the ‘first king’. The man was a military genius, sweeping through the regions of the high lords, uniting them under his indomitable will. After just fifty years, The First King had united the Sephi into the Kingdom of Thustra.
Unity led to prosperity. The Sephi lived under the dynasties of the kings for millennia. Great leaps were made with technology and art. Society gradually worked towards a harmonious utopia. A veneer over the ways of the past.
The Tamr’al dynasty has lasted for countless millennia, the third dynasty of the kingdom of Thustra. However, the quality of ruler has diluted over the the dynasty, the last of the line, king Varl III. Varl was a madman. Towards the end of his reign, of barely a century, he was passing new insane laws daily. This had to be stopped.
The first king of the Valtiere dynasty, Ivan I, deposed Varl III, liberating the people. He was linked to the royal line by the blood of his wife, Faeyna Valtiere. However, a new male as king meant a new dynasty, and the infamous Valtiere dynasty.
Thustra:
Thustra is a paradise. Great mountains seem to touch the sky, while rolling plains extend for miles around, dotted with copses and forest. Modern cities nestle comfortably among the scenery, glistening gems lighting the planet from orbit.
The Sephi
The Sephi are the natives of Thustra. Sephi are near humans. Their most obvious difference is their fluted (pointy) ears. They are tall, graceful beings, with long limbs. A Sephi will commonly live for 200-400 years, two hundred being the average. Their skin is pale, and hair is normally white or black, though some genetic deviations have been noted in the genetic stock.
