The Man in the Armor(Open)

It was a rainy day on Corellia as John Veranasa made his way to his favorite bar, "The Bloody Arrow", he went unoticed by civilians, due to his armor's adaptive camoflague generator being active. Which to him, seemed fortunate, as his armor generally attracted lots of attention...........and trouble. There weren't many who had heard of the war, but those who had, knew of John, and hated him for it. After what seemed like miles of walking and rain beginning to drip into his armor, he had finally reached his destination. As he walked through the doors, he turned off the camo generator, giving the appearance that he walked out of thin air. John strolled to his usual seat and removed his helmet, revealing his dark hair, bright green eyes and pale skin. He whistled a tune he heard when he was young as he waited for the lovely waitress to take his order.

Fears are such trivial things. They dominate one's mind and when they come face to face with something they fear, they cannot get a hold of themselves. What could they do when their nightmares became reality? Would they give up or find a way to escape. Nobody had yet, but maybe this person was different.

The man with the armor. His thoughts ran through him like water in a river. This was the only reason he could be found. He knew that people hated him and was hiding himself because of this. A fear of being persecuted, scolded. A typical fear, though it may not be correct.

It had been a while since he had been to Corellia; he mostly spent his time in casino's or traveling about, but this location was new. And what other way to learn of a new place, then by entering the bar?

The amber fields, the tall buildings, and the CorSec officials keeping the peace twenty-four seven, this place seemed like a controlled paradise; one reason Lazarus had not travelled to this planet often. However, today was just one of those days.

Dressed in his common attire, Lazarus cruised the streets till he reached a suitable bar; not perfectly clean like those in the Galactic Casino, but still quite suitable. Taking his first few steps into the bar, the bald human was pleased with the surroundings... save for the stiff in the armor.

Shrugging off the armored man, Lazarus sat at a nearby bar stool. Tapping the bar table, Lazarus made his quiet notion to the bartender to take his order.

As the rain continued to pour down onto the planet, most people either pulled up there hoods, put something of theres over there heads, or just beared with it. Among the crowd that was on the streets, two of them were diffrent from others. One was what appeared to be an intimidating Armored sentient who's body and head were encased in armor, and the other was another sentient who wore a black and silver robe with a hood over there head. From the looks of it, the Armored one was leading or escorting the robed one through the streets.

As they approached a nearby Cantina, the robbed one raised his hand a bit to stop the Armored one, seemingly sensing something in the Cantina. The Armored one knew what to do and headed in first, and what seemed to be a large rifle of sort holstered on his back gave a meaning to others to "Not to mess with this guy". As he entered the Cantina, the water from the rain dripped off him and onto the floor as he looked and scanned the area, still remaining Silent.

More people continued coming in. A leader of some sort, told by the way that he was led in by a robed man. Leaders loved their power and would do anything to keep that. But what would happen when their disciples turned their backs on him? The option was considerable, though the man who had entered before him seemed the better one.

Or perhaps the new man who was now sitting at the bar, wanting a drink. A simple glance showed nothing strange about him, and there was not nearly enough time to do an indepth search.

He was watching them all, but they could not see him. If they could, they would be moments away from death.

It was a strange night to be at a cantina and they were about to find out why.

John eyed the waitress warily as she took his order, a water. John preferred not to drink in public, especially in a cantina, where a fight could break out at any second. He spotted two newcomers walk in the cantina and twitched, a side effect of his augmentation years ago. Oh well, it was fine as long as they didn't start trouble.
