HISTORY AND DESCRIPTION.​

The Mandalorian Knights were former Jedi Masters who, during the Mandalorian Wars, defied the orders of the Jedi High Council and went to battle the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders under the command of the Jedi Revan. However, unlike the Revanchists, these rogue masters began covertly sabotaging the Galactic Republic war effort under the direction of the maverick ex-council member Dorjander Kace. Having come to believe that the Republic was corrupt beyond redemption, Kace and his followers embraced the Mandalorian way of life.

The Mandalorian Knights wield orange-bladed lightsabers. Kace and his newly-christened Mandalorian Knights ultimately joined Mandalore the Ultimate and his Neo-Crusaders as the Mandalorians' counterpart to the Jedi Order in the war. During his long-awaited infiltration of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine in 3962 BBY, the Mandalorian Knights surrendered and were returned to the Core Worlds for trial.

Yet this would not result in Kace's execution, mearly banishment from the Jedi order, what follows after his banishment is unclear, with him seemingly disappearing along with his followers from the pages of history.

But recently, with all the chaos in the galaxy.. there have been rumors.. whispers.. colonies in wild space, being razed, just.. gone.. with all either slain.. or taken.. all seemingly over night, aincent Jedi and sith temples that have laid dormant for centuries sending small energy signatures, barely noticeable..

Something.. deep in wild space, far from civilization, far from the Jedi, and the sith, far from.. everything .. has been waiting.. watching.. for the opportunity to strike...

And it has now has awakened with a festering thirst for revenge that has endured since the fall of mandalore the ultimate.. and the betrayal of the Jedi order, who had turned their backs on them, and shut them out to die.

They see the weakness of the Jedi, and now, at long lasting.. vengeance.. vengeance for the ultimate.. vengeance for the true mandalore.. vengeance for their "father".

..It is time for a new crusade..​

IDEALS​

The mandalorian knights value several things, setting them apart from the Jedi and sith order.

Commitment:
Family values are not seen as a weakness, they are seen as a enhancer, during their long exodus, the mandalorians knights learned the true meaning of family, enduring together until they would find their new home.

Survival:
The mandalorian knights have formed a strong sense of survival, rising from dire stratus and defeat, and hiding and biding their time for the perfect moment to insure their revenge, they know how to stay hidden, away from sight and mind..

Strength and change:
Dispite them long deviating from the neo crusaders of old, the mandalorian knights have retained certain parts of their culture, such as the Tennant of strength and change being an important part of life, they believe that one should have the strength to seize what they want, and be strong enough to defend who they love, with the belief summarized in the quote:

"still waters will eventually stagnate, yet flowing water will eventually cut through a mountain."

Loyalty:
For the mandalorian knights, the crusade of mandalore the ultimate never ended, and they have long waited, preparing and growing stronger, keeping the flames of their hatred strong with every generation passed, loyalty to the cuase and to the order.

GOALS​

The destruction of the Jedi order, and any who shall oppose their conquest.

The building of a vast mandalorian empire, as the ultimate had envisioned.

Functions​

Given the mandalorian knights unique view on the force, they usually harbor both light and dark side users, given their goals of conquest, their warriors and belligerents usually lean towards the dark side of the force, while their more disciplined and thoughtful tacticians prefer the light side of the force, though there are no forced path, each knight is allowed to carve their own path, and die as they live.

Their numbers are currently unknown as is their current capital, as their main force lies in the depths of wild space, from where they will launch a brutal campaign to the jedis centre of command.

INTENT​

Site lore

Bring a old force organization from legends with a new twist, and bring potential new threat for Jedi and their allies to deal with.

bring something that could become a major incursion if players want it to. Maybe have it grow to npc and then PC faction status.

Sorry for the late review

Although with that said since I govern factions, I'll step in here, and I am going to have to say there are quite a few problems.

So first thing, stuff from KOTOR, TOR, and any other EU works about those eras are non-canon. Although Darth Revan was mentioned in canon, there is next to no information about him other than he existed. The other figures named are Legends-only.

An important thing is that canon Mandalorians are very different than their Legends counterparts, and the organization as it is written up extensively clashes with how Mandalorians have been presented in canon and on the site.

Given how in canon and on-site Mandalorians and FS-stuff are about as far apart possible as it can get, I am going to have to veto this submission.

Maybe PCs can form a mini-faction of force-users organically in the roleplay, but it would have be done with a fresh slate and everything else. Presented as a brand new thing as opposed to this group that always existed.

P.S. Also, i'm aware you submitted one group that has light/darks side users working together. It was approved, sure. But it's present in this writeup, and I don't want to see the 'dark/lightsiders working together' being common place in future force groups.
