The Order of Dire​

History-Roland Dire, a magnificent Jedi Knight, was an honorable man. In early life, he drew many debts worth a large sum of credits, but managed to pay all of them off. When his sister was raped, he slew every single one of her attackers. Passing a mugging in progress, Dire beheaded all of the aggressors.

Even in death, which came when Roland battled three score pirates, Roland was honorable: he kneeled proudly after being stabbed in the kidney and allowed himself to be killed cleanly. His apprentice, Oliver Ripley, was trained to believe that honor was everything: if one as high and powerful as a Jedi would not hold a high reputation, than the galaxy was already lost.

Ripley went on to found the Order of Dire, and his following of apprentices, and their apprentices, and their apprentices, were instilled with a high sense of nobility and chivalry.

Location

The Order keep an enclave on Alderaan, high up in the mountains of the northern hemisphere. It consists of a hangar bay, a kitchen, medbay, dormitories, training rooms, mediation rock gardens.

Beliefs- A Dire Knight must go on quests abroad to prove himself worthy of praise and true of heart. There is no Dark Side, no Light Side, whatever powers that must be used in defense of honor are fair game. Sai Cha, or beheading an opponent with lightsaber, is the best way to slay an enemy.

Code-There is no Light, only Chivalry
There is no Dark, there is only Dishonor
There is no dishonor in death, thus the only act which may redeem one who is Dishonorable is death.

Funding-Roland Dire was not a poor man. His family was very rich, being lucrative traders, and his inheritance was left to Ripley. Ripley, in turn, thought the honorable thing to do would be to set up a group of followers, utterly devoted to Dire’s teachings.

The reason I get people to pm me is I can't keep track of all these indie factions.

Honestly, I don't see much reason to approve this, though. Former Jedi who are into chivalry and honour, but still use the Dark Side and preferably behead an opponent?

Even the history seems a weak reason at best to make this faction. Honestly, a padawan's master gets killed and he decides to leave the Jedi Order he was a part of? It doesn't really make sense.
