DESCRIPTION
Vibroblades were having a bad center of mass which make them bad at throwing. To throw a vibroblade really long a user have to be strong enough and have long arms. Some of the mercenaries were finding such a flaw to be critical and some of them have made knives intended mostly for throwing purposes. Such a tool become quite good against non-armored persons and greased with a poison oil easily becomes a deadly, silent weapon, which a user could take back right from a dead body. However, being self-made it was often having downsides and produce of a good throwing knife represents was an untrivial task.

Still, some of the mercenaries of any kinds used them at bars for 'Darts' game, one of Mundo's Sports Equipment designer decided to make this type of weapon to be the next Mundo's equipment lot concept. After it has been developed using Mundo's equipment, the knives become quite popular among some of Darts players as well as assassins and bounty hunters who loved it for its cheapness, plenty ways of improving it and simpleness of usage. At first, the knives have had "Mundo's throwing knives" name which was originally from it manufacturer, but after it being spotted at the usage of some bounty hunters, its name became more popular in some criminals quarters as "The Piercing Truth" for its piercing ability.

As a rule, the double-edged blade of fabricated knives set is made of either of high-quality flexsteel or chromium, had a leaf-shaped blade and a handle with a ring on the pommel. Comes with a tactical nylon sheath and velcro straps.

LEGALITY
Fully legal. Those knives intended either for a sports usage and as a mean of self-defense for civilians who for some reasons can't afford a blaster, thus have no restrictions in any part of the Galaxy.

INTENT
To create a silent, reusable, easy to change a throwing weapon which could be hidden under clothes.

ADVANCED TECH
No. Everyone can buy or even craft them since they are not difficult at production with cheaper materials (although might be worse compared to fabricated ones).

  • Most ranged weapons do Meters instead of yards. Metric is more common i'd say in terms of the unit of measurement.
  • Also if its a thrown weapon it shouldn't have a set throwing distance since that depends entirely on the user's ability.
  • Usually vibro blades also have some sort of 'vibration' housing and those just look like typical throwing knives, nothing but full tang metal with some rope/cord wrapped around the handle. My advice is to just not call them vibro blades at all because they probably do not in fact 'vibrate'. That, or I'd advise removing the stealthy side of the weapon. Vibro blades because of their vibrating characteristic are not silent and hum to about the same degree as a lightsaber.

Thanks for the feedback, @Darasuum, issues have been fixed. Still, the knives are not vibroblades. Shall I mention it?

The term "vibroblades" was used once in the description and mostly for comparison.

I'm gonna move these to gentech, as they're a pretty good example of that sort of thing.

However, @Real Russian, I'm going to as that you get someone to proofread and/or edit any future submissions for you. This is just barely legible enough for me to pass it.
