Already used to long days and irregular hours, it was nothing for Dray'sek to be awake so early in the day after being awake half the night deep in study. This was to be his first day officially under the tutelage of a Sith Crusader named Gienn.

He wanted to be ready for anything, it would not do to show his new Master disrespect by being unprepared. Not that he cared about his Master's feelings, quite the contrary in fact, but one did not go far in the Sith Order by angering one's Master at every opportunity.

Dray'sek, a Twi'lek used to getting his way, was determined that he would get exactly what he wanted from his time under the instruction of Gienn. Knowledge, and the power that accompanied it. One day Dray'sek hoped to be looking down upon his Master, showing what power in the right hands was capable of. Such was the way of the Sith, the strong would surpass the weak and rise to the top.

So far his training, though unguided, has gone exactly as planned. Dray'sek could utilize the basics of the Force, though not to a degree that would threaten those who were fully trained. But that would change, soon. The Twi'lek had a strong motivation to learn the intricacies of sorcery and alchemy, aspects of the Force that the ancients used to great effect.

Standing here, in a training chamber which would from this point forward be dedicated to his personal lessons, Dray'sek pondered his future. What he saw was a web of thousands of decisions which led to an endless number of paths he could walk, all of them led to power and influence. One day, Dray'sek would be powerful enough to take on the mantle of Darth, and possibly even challenge the Dark Lord for his right to lead.

Smiling to himself Dray'sek had to admit that his goals were ambitious, but then again what Sith who ever amounted to anything didn't?

"Dray-sek, I presume. Welcome to the fount of knowledge and power that is Korriban."

As his words floated through the air, Gienn appeared from no where, allowing his apprentice a first glimpse at his own formidability. He had been watching the Twi'lek practicing, and was not entirely disappointed.

"I am Gienn, your master. I have heard of your 'malevolence', and I'm here to tell you that you are no better than a Dark Jedi. That's why I'm here. If you do not submit, I will punish you. If you do not act, I will force it out of you. If you do not think, I will fill you with torment. Let's begin. First, I must ask, what training have you? Also, wh-"

Gienn just then realized his apprentice hadn't moved, hadn't bowed before his master. Gienn offered his hand, palm down, and began to push his apprentice down with the Force, creating enough pressure to hopefully bring him down.

"And you will bow when you address me."

There was a moment of surprise as his Master, Gienn, appeared seemingly from thin air. That moment of surprise was well suppressed however, Dray'sek did well to show no outward sign of this.

That outer shell was not kept up however as Gienn proceeded to insult, taunt and threaten him. Though his facial expression did not change, his lekku twitched slightly, the sign of irritation would not be lost on the Sith Crusader. Inwardly Dray'sek was furious at himself, self-control was something he demanded of himself and he had just failed in that endeavor.

He vowed that it would not happen again.

Just as the Twi'lek stored the insult deep within his heart, kept safe for a future date, Gienn began to ask him about his previous training...but paused.

Dray'sek did not understand for a moment, then it became clear as the Sith's arm rose and a great pressure was put upon the Acolyte. Gienn was demanding that the Twi'lek bow before him in supplication, as if this man was worthy of his worship and admiration.

It did not matter at all, for all his will to resist Dray'sek could not fight against the trained Sith's power. Every muscle in his body strained against what he knew in the end he must do, but soon enough his knee touched the floor.

The pressure did not cease at this, clearly one knee was not enough for Gienn. His second knee came to the floor, and then both hands to support his body. Dripping with sweat from the effort to fight the immense pressure upon him, Dray'sek finally submitted.

"Yes, my Master." Though inwardly Dray'sek swore to the immortal gods of the Sith, one day, he would have his vengeance.
