Avery had been on the planet for a matter of days before finally making contact. After an introduction and once over, Avery had been given the chance to be trained by one of the Bogan. This was a great moment for Avery as this place radiated with pure anger and that was all Avery was focused on at this time. Anger now and Anger forever.

Now Avery sat in a pretty desolate and cold place, waiting for the arrival of Zinthra Carvex, the crusader who had been charged with training Avery.

Ando Prime, a snow covered yet hospitable planet, in the Mid Rim. So many cruised by on the trade ways yet few, very few, knew of just what was in the drifts. The temple of the dark jedi known as the Bogan laid in the snow piles, their existence known yet whispered for the superstitious fear of being heard by the Force wielding nightmares. Zinthra Carvex, Jedi Knight turned Bogan Crusader, was just one of many who had been reborn into the new way of life and now it was time for her to refine the skills of another so that they may partake in the destruction of the galaxy.

The temple, crudely lit by fire torches, was teeming with activity. Zinthra moved among the corridors, being sure to keep her eye contact to a minimum. At any time another Crusader, or even a Master, could strike with out warning if provoked. Her new charge, one by the name of Avery, had been ordered to meet her among east wing chambers. Though she had been putting it off, Zinthra couldn't procrastinate any more, especially if she wanted to live to see tomorrow.

Upon coming into the primary east corridor it took merely a second for her to pick out her newly acquired Acolyte among the few. The Epicanthix started towards the student, her lightsaber jingling on her belt next to five training for training, old trinkets from her days of training Padawans. Now, she had to teach everything she had warned against, there would be no qualms doing such. In fact, one could say, Zinthra would enjoy the unorthodox style of training she had been eager to use.

A thickly gloved hand came up, fingers outspread as Zinthra conjured a Force Push towards the Acolyte with intent to slam the student into a nearby wall. It was a vicious attack with no warning. Such were the ways of the sub-humanoid, there would be no mercy.

Avery's senses were on full alert, but it wasn't enough. Avery tried to launch from the ground and avoid the powerful attack but wasn't quick enough. The force push caught Avery by the legs causing a pinwheel effect before slamming into the cold wall. Avery stood, aching but not defeated. Standing and slowly turning, Avery quickly launched into the air and behind Zinthra before throwing out a barrage of force pushes as a counter attack.

The scraping of heavy gauntlets could be heard as Zinthra brought up both arms in an 'x'. Boots digging into the floor she kept upright as the pushes moved her back a couple inches. Once the attacks had passed, both of her arms dropped to her sides, barely any concentration going to a bit of levitation. Nearby rocks drifted towards her before slowly orbiting around her in their own separate paths and angles. With a clasp of her hands behind her back she started to walk away.

After a few meters of walking alone she turned slowly, hair falling over her face as her voice droned as if bored, "Well? Are you coming?"

Avery was not suprised. Expecting to defeat Zinthra on their first encounter would be foolish. Avery was no fool.

"You are powerful, that is no doubt. I wish to learn that power, and use it to inflict pain. Will you promise that, when I'm worthy, you will teach me to deal death across the galaxy? said Avery.

"I promise you nothing. If you survive me, then you are worthy," Zinthra merely stated before moving onward. The pieces of debris continued to orbit around her as she stalked down the halls towards an exit to the snows. She never checked to see if her Acolyte was keeping up, frankly she didn't care. Though she had been ordered to train the child, it never said anything killing, in fact it happened quite often. It would be a daily test for Avery, to prevail or succumb to death.

The crunch of snow beneath her boots was nearly the only sound as she came into the open fields of white. Stopping at a far enough distance from the temple, her left hand snapped out, arm outstretched while her saber came to her hand on command. Thumb ready to ignite the blade she barely looked over her shoulder for Avery.

Avery kept pace with the instructor while soaking in the surrondings. It was definitely cold there but Avery's suit kept body temperatures at normal levels. It was a good thing too, because it looked like any form of moisture would freeze instantly, and Avery could feel the beads of sweat slowly accumulating under the armor. Though Avery would never succumb to such a weakness.

Avery continued walking, but slowed as the master spoke. Denial? How could this be? Avery watched as Zinthra continued before unexpectedly igniting her lightsaber.

"Have you ever thought that you are the one not worthy? Not worthy of training me!" Avery released and ignited the lightsaber hidden in the cloak, used the force to skate across the snowy field, and launched towards Zinthra with a bloodlust.

Red plasma blade humming with the threat of death, Zinthra turned to meet her attacker. The right hand dropped low conjuring a sweeping Force push, bringing up a screen of snow to block Avery's view. While the distraction was up the Crusader dropped the orbit of debris around her to focus on a larger task that needed the Force. Right hand dropping again, palm towards the snow, her fingers curled into gnarled hooks before her hand turned upwards and shoved towards the skies. With such a gesture a sheer wall of frozen soil was uplifted, barring the Acolyte's path. But she wasn't done yet. The right hand continued to move, rearing back before letting a burst of energy form into a Force push to hurtle the wall at the student.

Arms coming to rest the very end of her saber sizzled in the snow, Zinthra watching and waiting to see just what Avery would do. The three separate moves had been done in efficiency, preconceived in a sense since she had done it all before. The question asked of her would remained unanswered until the snow settled, she wanted to make sure the Acolyte heard her right.

Avery was quick about getting through the obstacles, dispersing the snow with ease. Once the view was clear Avery saw Zinthra's next attack and threw the lightsaber with such sheer force it went straight through the wall of frozen earth clean, making a perfect circle in the middle. Avery then gathered the force and split the wall, throwing both peices onto opposite sides of the field.

With the path clear now, it could be seen that Avery's lightsaber was still airborne, whizzing straight towards Zinthra.

With the saber hurtling towards her, Zinthra hardly moved. Hand coming up she forced a grasp of levitation around the lightsaber before turning the saber in a hundred eighty degree angle, the metal of the hilt smacking into her palm. Thumb flicking off the ignition she brought the blade of her own saber around to slice Avery's in half. Tossing the two pieces back at the Acolyte she kept her stance in the same spot, hardly phased by the attacks.

"You have a grasp, I'll give you that, but its hardly refined. You're entirely too chaotic, learn to control your anger, so that it doesn't control you,"
Zinthra lectured, her saber disengaging though still in hand, "Otherwise, it will kill you."

"With the power you teach me, I will cause nothing but death and destruction across the galaxy. Fueled with my anger, I may very well control the galaxy. But I understand, uncontrolled fury won't do the job. I... submit. My fate is in your hands... for now." Avery sheathed the two pieces of the now broken lightsaber and hesitantly kneeled.

"Make me a weapon, master."

"Make you a weapon?" Zinthra quirked an eyebrow, the lightsaber snapping back to her belt as she looked down at her student. Both hands hung at her sides, fingers twitching sporadically from time to time.

"A weapon is an inanimate object, something that relies on a living thing to have any influence on anything. Even then the motive is not up to the weapon. Is that all you want to be? Some one else's tool with no say? I doubt that's what you want. Rather, I'm going to turn you into a monster, the very embodiment of lethal danger. You will become the very nightmare in the night. I will harden you like a stone under a waterfall..."

Both gloves would snap up, fingers outspread before bringing down a rather powerful Force Push towards the student, looking to pound Avery into the snows, "With harsh force and berating!"

Avery stayed down on one knee while Zinthra spoke. When the master was finished Avery slowly stood just in time to see Zinthra launch another force push. This time Avery was more prepared and mimicked what Zinthra did earlier; throwing both arms up in an "X" and effectively blocking the force. Both arms flew back to Avery's sides and the palms opened. Using great force, Avery picked up the two seperate pieces of the frozen ground strewn across the temple and launched them towards each other... with Zinthra standing in between them.
