The body lay in the halls of the academy behind him. Another of the acolytes who sought to thin out the herd of sith hopefuls. Iejir grinned darkly as he supposed the fools goal was accomplished, there was now one less acolyte to contend with but that still left the thriving throng that seemed to multiply daily. Most he knew would never bear the title of Sith much less Darth. But they were not his concern.
As he slowly walked the halls his hands fell to the lighsabers on his belt. Since he was a boy he'd been trained to use them. He noted that most acolytes wore vibroblades and other melee weapons. But he knew that in the end the iconic weapons on his belt were going to be his main choice. Lightweight and measured for his hand he would find no better weapons.
Iejir wondered who would find the body or him first. there were several lords running about to be sure but crusaders as well both groups could see this as either a positive sign of progression or a simple act of cowardice. He supposed it was up to fate to decided and kept his feet moving less some other member of the acolyte numbers try his hand in these dark hallways.

Gienn began to follow an acolyte amongst the halls. He knew that, to be a master, and then a Lord, he would need to train as many acolytes as possible, but only those with potential. And this one, walking before him, had just killed another.

The killing was justified, and the acolyte showed talent, but a lack of restraint. Gienn could sense his emotions as clearly as he could see, and it was apparent that the young mans emotions directed his actions. I can fix that.

"Dark Jedi. That's all you are. It's pathetic. You will never earn the title of Sith. Go home." In a mocking voice, Gienn hoped the acolyte would turn on him in rage, but it would be pointless. The Crusader was completely shrouded from sight and from the Force. As if he didn't exist.

Iejir turned on his heal one of his lightsabers quickly finding his hand. The suddenness of the voice had surprised him and the words caused him to bristle but when he moved to face the one who had spoken there was nothing but the dark hall he'd just left. He kept his breathing steady in his half crouch. He was leaning forward onto the balls of his feet ready to move coiled ready to strike while his eyes silently scanned the hallway. "Bold words spoken from the shadows." He challenged back letting his body right itself but staying on the balls of his feet and his weapon kept tightly in hand.
He knew the words were meant to goad him, to anger him. And he allowed it. Anger gave you purpose but rage would blind you. "Would that I could return home, but I doubt I'd find anything there save a couple burnt skeletons and the remains of a foundation. No one leave Koriban alive without passing their trials." He said still watching for anything to shift or change.
