Yes, it is strange that you have friends in the philippines.
Wait...How is that strange?
Yes, it is strange that you have friends in the philippines.
They estimate around 2 billion people watched it worldwide. So someone in the Philippines watching doesn't seem particularly strange tbh.I didn't watch it, but my friends in the philippines did...Strange? Yes.
Nah totally the same, your drama queen just has a funny hat. :bitchez
You should have spent today reflecting on how fortunate you are to be the subject of such a benevolent group of rulers.
Glad this is over. Now maybe the news can start showing actual news again.

TBH I have no idea how they measure the viewing figures for something like this, but 2 billion people worldwide was the figure quoted by the BBC, ITV, Sky News and CNN coverage. Don't be so grouchy about it. I'm not a royalist, at best it's an interesting part of British heritage and history (and there is a big part of me that thinks hereditary monarchy in this day and age is ridiculous - not that I'm getting into that debate now), but something like this isn't such a bad thing. There're few spectacles that Britain has where people across the entire globe (whether it's 200 or 2 billion people) watching, and pomp and ceremony are something we tend to do quite well...for better or for worse.I honestly doubt 2 billion people watched it. Less than a third of the world's population gives a **** about the English monarchy. Given that lots of people I know(we're all English), went and did important things, such as revised for exams in 2 weeks (which they also forced us to take a day of school for the wedding), it makes it highly improbable that the viewing figures were what they claimed they were.
Also, while at ANY other point in my life would I appreciate a day off school, one right in the middle of the second most important (and potentially the hardest) exams in my life, I could do with all the schooltime possible.
in b4 tl;dr.
Benevolent rulers? More like inbred overlords. Prince Harry is my favourite, he's insane in all the good ways. You should have spent today reflecting on how fortunate you are to be the subject of such a benevolent group of rulers.
