Kalanda had expected something more from Eithni, perhaps a counter attack, some sort of distraction, anything other than what the woman ended up saying. She knew how much it hurt to be choked like this, having your windpipe crushed in such a manor, and frankly she wasn't enjoying what she was doing to her friend. So needless to say, Kalanda was baffled to find the girl smiling at her, finding it a tad unnerving frankly. The woman's words however, touched the Sith, and for a moment she almost lost the hold she held over the girl. Almost. Kalanda merely moved forward towards the woman, smiling as Eithni was on the verge of falling unconscious. "I know." She would say, as once Eithni had passed out, Kalanda would carefully move the woman onto solid ground, not wanting to risk her injuring herself from the fall.

There was a sense of disappointment around the small gathering, as Kalanda set the unconscious body of Eithni to the ground, the pillars would desend, as Mother Usara would step forward, the old crone's voice would echo forth. "Kalanda Tishire, you have proven yourself...worthy of learning our secrets by completing the selection trial." It was rather apparent that the old woman was less than pleased about this whole affair, but it didn't matter, Kalanda had done it, no one would could challenge her claim. "The selection is concluded. You are dismissed." Mother Usara made a motion with her hand, as the green mist would wrap around her form, before the woman would vanish from sight. The rest of the sisters merely sneered and turned away, leaving the two women to their own devices. Exhausted, Kalanda dropped down to the ground, joining the witch on the ground. She was done, her trial complete. She turned her gaze to her friend, smiling slightly as her ordeal came to an end. The little witch had made this all possible, without her this whole ordeal would have failed. Kalanda reaches out, brushing a lock of hair out of the woman's face, not feeling strong enough to try and get back to her feet. Despite all the pain and discomfort she felt, Kalanda felt a great relief having finished this trial, all thanks to the one that had stood by her side. She would keep Eithni around, this wouldn't be the last they saw of each other. She was growing rather fond of the little witch.
