This is Operative Xzig Barogus, reporting.

I have been tasked to archive the last several months. A lot has happened in those turbulent days. We could say that the time for the Rebellion is coming. I have been ordered by the leadership to research any important information and archive it in the Database. I will not do this alone, Archival Droid R4T1 will assist me on the gathering of the information. In my absence, he will continue to correct and expand this list.(OOC: this doesn't mean it's WIP)

I myself have been busy this year. After the ARES was gone, I had the feeling I had lost the fight. I retreated to my home. But I returned. I knew that perhaps I could make a difference. I started instructing others. And I began a new group. More on that later.

This article is a long list. For there were much events. Without further ado, I will begin.

The Ether Hawk flies again
Yes indeed. After long repairing, the ship rose again. And it got a new crew. I do not know much, but Commander Kylis Riesenfel is truly a real leader. The ship could not have gotten a better captain. The ship has not remained silent. Raids, Assistance and simple Supply missions are mainstream for the crew. A particular event in which the Ether Hawk was truly instrumental was without doubt when the crew tried to free a group of Twi'lek slaves from the corners of the Naos system. Beside that, it is of course also known for the signing of the Declaration of Galactic Rebellion, a partnership between Rebels, Jedi, Imperial Knights and Mandalorians. More on that below.

Declaration of Galactic Rebellion
Although it was clear something more was coming, it was only now that the insurgents against the Sith united. The Rebels were weary about the Jedi, for they saw that the Masters of old battled amongst themselves. They were weary for the Knights, for the Knights still wanted an empire ruling the galaxy. They were weary for the Mando's, for the Mandalorians fought against the Alliance. But the Rebellion knew, they had to set their doubts and hatred aside. The others wanted to fight the Empress, and so it was decided to contact them. General Bastele signed the Declaration personally as leader of the Rebellion. This meant an united group, and Rebels and Jedi fought alongside not long after.

Returning to Endor
The ancient site of the fall of the first Empire was obviously a symbol for the Rebels. They decided to build there. Along with the Jedi, who knew that the planet was strong with the Force. But their beginnings weren't easy. An armada of ancient TIE Fighters attacked their compound. The Rebel-Jedi force was able to hold them off, but much of the landing base was ruined. Thus, another base was established. But again, difficulties. The Rebels and Jedi started to name-call and swear to each other. Soon, cat-fighting started out. But the Rebels had to set their quarrels aside, when an army of Droids attacked the base. Again the Droids were held off, and the base was repaired. All remains quiet for now.

Mandalorian Genocide
The Sith were relentlessness against the Mandalorians, for their fighting was getting out of hand after the death of Corden Vencu, the last Mandalore. In a series called the Clan Wars, rival Mando clans vied for power. Things started leaking into Imperial space. Thus the Empress ordered the slaughtering of millions of Mandalorians across various planets. Only a few survived. The remaining Mando's swore revenge on the Empress for the bloodshed and joined the Rebellion. Some to become smugglers and mercenaries, others would become important members. There were, however, Mando's who were not killed, but rather captured and imprisoned. One in particular became a huge deal later.

Battle of the Reckoning
The Rebellion knew, they had to attack the Sith head on. And they needed a symbol to unite the Mandalorians. That symbol came in the form of Sisk Renelo. He was captured and held prisoner in the Imperial prison of the Reckoning. A group of Rebels broke in. General Bastele was courageous and head-started the operation with an intended capture. After a struggle, he was able to freeze in the Sith Lord aboard the station in Carbonite, after which he escaped. An explosion in the hangar bay triggered the next phase. A small group infiltrated and freed Sisk. The remaining force stayed behind and put up a perimeter to secure the hangar. The Imperials were not pleased, and punished the remaining prisoners with toxic gas. The inmates died in seconds. Another plan was executed, shutting of all the doors. A manual override was reached however. The Imperials continued with deactivating all the Gravity Generators, leaving the Rebels to float around.

Rise of the Corusca
While the Ether Hawk was just finished repairs, another crew rises among the fleet. A Nebula V frigate had taken up a new crew. The new captain became the first Mandalorian captain in the Rebel Fleet. Her name was Arya Atin'al. The crew had a rough time forming, with the crew adjusting to to a Mando captain. But the Corusca rose through the ranks to take an important place in the Fleet. They were pivotal in the acquisition of a group of X-wing Fighters, and more recently they have spearheaded the Rebel operations on Bespin, with the rebuilding of Tibannapolis. The ship will rise to become on of the most important in the Rebellion, as will it's crew.

Imperial-Hutt War
The declaration of war from the Sith came as quite a surprise, both to the Hutts and the Rebellion. The Hutt controlled the Black Market, Bacta and a lot of other services. The Sith had always remained neutral with them. But the Hutt's greed knew no limits. And when they started raiding Imperial worlds, the Sith had to react. Off course we know the Hutts held back the Sith a couple of times. No Impetial dared to acknowledge it though. For the Rebels: we played almost no part in the battle between the Sith and the Hutts. But we know it is time to strike, now that the Sith is to occupied with the Hutts.

Acquisition of the Rendili Raiders
At the beginning of this year, Vice Admiral Triure took over the Rendili fleet and declared the former Admirals missing. The Rendili had lost all. Yagd'ull, their base of operations, was destroyed by the Sith. The Raiders felt their fight was pointless. They fought inside Imperial Space, but not against the Sith. Thus, now Admiral Triure ordered their relocation to the Rebel Dawn, taking a sizeable fleet of 4 frigates and in total five wings starfighters to both the Militia and the Resistance. Conversations are ongoing for the full merger of the Raiders into the Rebellion.

Return of Skywalker

DECRYPTION KEY: GRANTED

Not long ago, reports came in indicating the return of Skywalker. A descendant of Luke and Anakin, long lost amid the desert of Tatooine, the ancient home-world of the family. Not much else is known, only that her name is Lana. She will shape the events to come, for the name of Skywalker will both startle the Sith, and inspire those who oppose the Imperium. Be advised, this information is classified, so don't tell it to any Sith.

Beginning of Tatoo Squad
As I said, I too have been busy this year. I met a smart young woman by the name of Alisha. We became friends and we decided to form an alliance. First we acquired a vessel, and now we are searching for other women to join up.

Remaining events
Of course we cannot neglect the other achievements that our individual Rebels have completed. Training sessions, such as the flight simulator by Gavin or the missions by some of the Rebels such as the destruction of the ship Nova, all have a contribution. And they all have an impact.

The Rebellion will continue to fight the Sith, no doubt. Let's appreciate all it has already achieved. Operative Xzig Barogus, signing off.

(OOC: if anyone likes something to be added, be free to PM me. I will try and implement it)

Update on Facilities Status

This is Operative Barogus with an update on the state of our facilities. As of now, we only maintain a small number of officially recognised bases. I will evaluate the status of these facilities.
Here we go.

The Dawn is in good shape. With all repairs on the ship's defences and the full updating of the computer systems, there comes an end to a period of vulnerability. The ship is now fully able to act as our mobile Headquarters and a sanctuary for our soldiers. It is now in full service and will allow further mission coordination to be successfully executed. It is now a matter of time that the rest of the fleet will be assembled.

The men on Pardron have been busy of late. The base is getting upgraded so that it can serve as a permanent fall-out facility. In fact, the numbers of soldiers are increasing, as the Rebels watches carefully for a Sith arrival following the attack on the Reckoning. If there is any attack, it is almost certain to begin there. Which is not a very good thought.

The Civilian Resistance has been busy too. Since a patrol came by earlier this week, the number of defences has gone up. Also, for the first time, the Blast door was shut out of fear of an Imperial attack. The monitoring has also gone up after that event, although the fear of another potential break-in is far from real now. Nevertheless a supply of weaponry, frankly enough, was found earlier aboard my ship. Including heavier weaponry. This will no doubt help with the defence of the base.

Although it is not used very much, the Vergasso asteroids provide us with a valuable base for resources and repairs. It was here that the Ether Hawk was rebuilt. It is now the site of the Rebellion Fleet. Here all ships will be repaired, although the Asteroid base is in disrepair as well. The Base will first need to be repaired before any serious work can be done. However, it will become the Fleet's staging area no doubt. Along with the Dawn it will become our primary rendezvous area for the entire Rebellion. From here, we can strike back against the Sith.

With the endless stream of refugees coming in from destroyed planets massacred by the Sith, a need to house these civilians rose up. Then there came an abandoned city, large enough to house thousands of people. And so, the Rebellion sought out and re-habituated Tibannopolis. Not only as a way to shelter refugees, also as a fall out base for our actions in the Mid Rim. Bespin sits at the Hyperspace lane towards important planets such as Bestine, Duro and Corellia.

These bases are not only our hideouts, they are our home. Our sanctuaries that no one will and can touch.
