The Training of Parax Cynerus [ this one samo xD]

[Let's just speed that post up a little.]

After eventually transporting to the ships hangar, we took off with me in curiosity about the history of the jedi, and how I might consider becoming a knight.


I ask to be taken to ossus, the past residence of the jedi to see it for myself...

you agree and we lift off, eventually landing on the planets surface.

 

[Count Sam]

It quite a trip to Ossus, but finally Ryo, and parax reached the surface of Ossus. The temple was not far away. But befor they went on Ryo had to ask his new padwan a few questions.

"So tell me more about you Prax. Like tell me about your life, and the reason why you came Mos Eisley. Also I would like to know if you had ever felt any connection to the force befor" Ryo said as he got up, and prepared to leave the ship.

 

[Parax]

Parax walked towards the large order, where he answered the questions respictevly as he walked to it.


"Well I'm from the planet of Zeltros. We're a planet of scientists, engineers, and factory workers. Oh and don't forget royalty.

He chuckles at this remark, and continues.

After finishing my regular schooling, I turned down the oppurtunity to become a scientist. None of my friends from school would have been scientists, just the snobby rich kids, and that's not really my crowd.

So after school me and my friends decided to go to work at some factory complex.

Okay job, with okay pay, that gives you an OK house to live in. I kenw this wasn't me within a few weeks.

So half of the money I made was pooled until I had enough for travel.
I figured Mos Eisley would be most appropriate, but I do not remember why. I believe it came to me in a dream once... and once I thought I was going to go to mos eisley it became more than a dream, it became my life to get there, everything I did pointed to Mos Eisley. So if that's what it means to be connected to the force, then I guess I was."



He cocked his head at him as he walked beside him towards the order, awaiting his response.

 

[Count Sam]

"hmm intersting. As you can see the force is a signicant creature that bound, and connect the galaxy together. However it cant be seen, only fealt. In my opinion the force is the strongest weapon in the whole galaxy. We the jedi use it for good. But well if not handled carefully it can be dangerous, and migh also twist you, and turn you to its dark side. As a jedi you will be trained not only to use it, but to control it as well."Ryo addressed his padwan as they passed through the door, and then to the garden where the padwan's training was going to take place.

"But well the most important thing is to control your emotions. Yeah strong emotions such as pain, hate, sadness, lust for revenge, and anger are the main reason why many jedi turned to the dark side. But for now I would like you to sit down, close your eyes, and clear your mind of all thoughts. After you do that I would like you to try, and feel the force that surrounds you from every where"

 

[Parax]

Parax sat as instructed, and arranged his body in a meditative lotus position.

He took a deep breath in, and closed his eyes. He then began clearing his mind, by visualizing himself exhaling the thoughts of the day.

why am I even doing this?

I should have picked up a blaster and joined a pirate crew, this guy's a ****in...

right in the middle of his aggresive thought, he began to realize that this was simply the dark side tugging at his mind. He'd read about this happening to others, and it didn't surprise him that it was happening to him.

He simply continued exhaling as told, and what he felt once his mind was clear amazed him.

His mind devoid of thoughts, and objective from his desires and emotions, he felt the omniprescence of the force. He inhaled again, harmony throughout his body and mind. It was everywhere around him, and though he couldn't describe it, it was there. He opened his eyes with a small grin, and told his master...

"Wow. That has to be the most amazing place I've ever been in meditation.

I've tried it before and I've never felt such a..prescence..."

Parax felt enlgihtened, but had a confused look on his face at the same time. He really could not describe what he had just done...

 

[Count Sam]

"great. It seemed that you were finally able to reach the force, and be one with it. In other words you just took your first step toward the road of becoming a jedi knight, yet there is still a little disturbance within you. But You wont have to worry about that as long as you control your emotions, and be at peace with youself" Ryo said in a friendly tone as he looked at his padwan carefully giving him a smile.

"now tell me what do you know about the jedi order, and our code?"

 

[Parax]

"Emotion, yet peace
Ignorance, yet knowledge
Passion, yet serenity
Chaos, yet harmony
Death, yet the force."

Parax recited this almost instantly as he asked about the code.



"and I've read just a bit about the philosophers that met on tython and established the order of the jedi."

he says this with a smile.

 

[Count Sam]

Ryo smiled at his padwan" great. you sure will be a promising jedi knigh in the future. So tell me what does the words in the code mean to you?"

 

[Parax]

"Well, I know emotions affect us all but we can resist them if they bring us to irrational decisions.

We are all ignorant in some way, but as jedi we will learn as much as we can.

Passion when applied properly can be quite helpful (i.e passion about helping others) but when misused towards petty things like people and emotions then we begin serving our selves and that leads to the dark side)

Chaos is really neccesary at sometimes but we as jedi strive to bring harmony to the force, and misc. civilizations.

Death is unavoidable, but we simply transform into the force, and allow for more life."

Parax said this all with deep breaths in between his paragraphs, and finished with a smile.

 

[Count Sam]

"hmm good as you can see there are alot of stuff in the universe that are hard to avoid like chaos, and emotions, yet as jedi our job is to do our best to control these stuff. However death is something that we cant control for sure. Also if you ever hoped to be a jedi knight you must always use your brain to think, and never use your heart, since it will only lead you to failure, or maybe to the dark side" Ryo spoke slowly, and in a loud tone making sure that his padwan was absorbing all the information.

"any questions?"

 

[Parax]

"No master"

Parax said with a small smile.

 

[Count Sam]

"good so now tell me what did you know about the history of the jedi order?" Ryo asked his padwan. He spoke in a slow, and calm tone.
