The Twins (Open)

[Emma Lou]

Amelia glared at her sister as the walked down the streets of lower Coruscant. Allina was wearing the dress that Amelia had wanted to wear and Amelia was stuck with one she had already worn. Who wears clothes twice, right? They had taken one of their parents ships and traveled to the city planet for some good ol' fashion shopping, of course they had to party at night. That's what they did. Shopped and partied. They always did it together too...no matter how much they disliked each other at that second.

Allina looked at her twin and rested her head on her should as they walked. Amelia was mad at her and she knew she had to smooth it over before the end of the trip, which meant that Allina would be buying the drinks tonight and new outfit for Amelia tomorrow. That was how they always resolved their issues.

"So do you even know where this bar is?" Allina wined.

"Yes, it is right down here...trust me, you'll love it!"

"Why can't we go somewhere nice? I don't like the underbelly of Coruscant!"

Amelia held back a laugh. They were the children of pirates and Allina didn't like the lower levels of Coruscant.

"Don't worry, Li!"

 

[Will]

Dagan sat in an alley, cleaning his knife. He took a picture on his pict-catcher, proof of success. He Dragged the body away, deep into the maze of back alleys that riddled Coruscant, the heart of republic corruption.

Dagan was walking back along an upper walkway when something caught his eye. Two girls, identical, arguing. The twins. Father had told Dagan that he was to take care of his sisters, and that he would do... discreetly. He followed them, remaining invisible, partly to natural skill, but mainly due to the stealth fild generator his father had liberated from an ARC shipment. He followed them into the club.

 

[Emma Lou]

They arrived at the bar a few minutes later and immediately made their way to get drinks. They sat at the bar and had about three drinks before they were approached for the first time. Amelia was surprised it took so long, it was probably cause of her old dress. He was cute, but they quickly dismissed him. They continued to chat among themselves and drink.

About an hour and six drinks later, the girls were up and stumbling out of the bar. They both laughed and shushed each other as they walked...or fell. They may have been in dresses, but they weren't worried if anyone tried to attack them cause they had weapons hidden all over.

 

[Cailst]

Dimitrije was wandering the lower streets of Coruscant. It wasn't his typical fashion but within a week or so, he was planning to accompany the Chancellor as a body guard. So, for the next few days, he was going to be in Coruscant to be able to accompany the Chancellor when needed. Being in the lower reaches could provide a bit of practice if something wrong were to happen. However, he was simply strolling the streets showing no sign of his Jedi nature.

"Hello ladies," He said to the young and apparently drunk ladies that were wandering the streets.

 

[Emma Lou]

Amelia and Allina both stopped talking and looked at the man that was now in their area.

"Hello," Amelia said, trying not to slur her words. She was not as drunk as her sister and she knew they both would snap out of it if there was any trouble. "How are you doing this evening?"

 

[Cailst]

"Rather well, you?" He asked.

He figured he might as well make some sort of acquaintance for the time being. They might be able to recommend a place to eat or any sort of temporary job. Or at least provide an interesting conversation.

 

[Emma Lou]

"Rather well? Well I'd have to say that we are the--"

"same!" Even drunk they completed each others sentences.

Amelia looked over at Allina and smiled, "What bring you down to this dangerous section of this lovely city?"

 

[Cailst]

Dimitrije made a slight chortle at the silly sentence finishing maneuver. It was mildly humorous to see twins do stuff like that.

"I'm down here for cheaper rent. Soon, I'll have a pretty good job but for now, less rent is a good thing."

It wasn't completely unfamiliar territory. After all, in his youth, he had been a drug lord. Fortunately, he changed his ways and became the jedi he was. Still, he remembered some of the perks of living in poor neighborhoods.

 

[Emma Lou]

"So what do you do? We could get you a good job, but you wouldn't be on world very much...eliminates rent"

Amelia smiled and looked at him. She was always ready to recruit for the Raider's Coalition.

 

[Cailst]

"I do various security sort of jobs. However, it all depends on the situation. If I took a job any job you're offering, it would have to be for a very short period of time as my new job will take up all of my time." He said figuring whatever job they were prepared to offer would pale in comparison to his current next job.

Still, he wanted to hear them out and at least establish a little bit of friendship in this dark underworld. That and they didn't look too bad. Of course, they were too young so he put aside truly naughty thoughts but they had a rather comely appearance.

 

[Emma Lou]

"Have you ever heard of the Raider's Coalition?"

Amelia asked softly. She didn't know who could be lurking in the shadows down here.

Allina looked at the man and waited for him to answer her twins question before she asked hers.

 

[Will]

Damn. Dagan had been disposing of the guys that came onto his sisters far too strongly, or wouldn't leave them. He had just caught up to find them chatting to some fellow about the coalition. If he was a republic operative, there would be trouble. He may even have to call in th big guns. He continued to watch, hand on pistol grip.

 

[Cailst]

"Only a little bit. I think they were some criminal organization." Dimitrije said.

He had heard a bit about some raiders coalition. However, it had only been through other Jedi as he had never come across them. As he was speaking, he was beginning to wonder about the twins. It seemed possible that they were trying to offer him some criminal job. Naturally, he wasn't particularly interested as he wanted to avoid that sort of stuff unless someone needed help from him.

 

[Emma Lou]

"It's not really criminal, per say, they just set people up with opportunities"

Allina spoke before Amelia could. That's how Allina always described them to people. The Raider's Coalition was just a nice little group that liked to help people.

 

[Cailst]

"What sort of opportunities? And why is it called the Raider's Coalition?" He asked.

It still sounded bad but he felt like inquiring further. If it wasn't really criminal, it could still be extra-legal and that might explain the mincing of words. By this point, he was fairly sure he didn't want to work there but he wanted to know more as the knowledge might help in future circumstances.

 

[Emma Lou]

"Financial ones. There are many different areas of the organization. As for the name, it was just a--a proper fit"

Amelia smiled, sweetly. She knew this man was not really that interested and she knew that she shouldn't tell him more, but she couldn't stop herself.

 

[Cailst]

"A proper fit? Are you guys like robber barons? Or exploitive monopolists?" He said stifling a laugh at the absurdity.

The silliness of capitalism's worst offenders all piled up into one organization seemed silly but the silliness was probably meant to conceal some sort of dark secret. Or just some sort of a joke organization, one that fooled some of the dumber jedi.

 

[Emma Lou]

Amelia just smiled at him, she did not like his sarcasticness.

"You should look us up...or maybe we'll meet again in a more professional level"

She found it hard to believe that he had never heard of the Raider's Coalition before, but she could tell now that she would get in trouble if she kept talking.

 

[Cailst]

"I'll do so when I get back to my apartment, do you know of any good grocery or convenience stores in the area?" He asked.

Given that she was a little less open about it, he figured it might be a good idea to go, however, it wouldn't hurt to learn a little more about the local neighborhood.

 

[Emma Lou]

"I wouldn't buy any groceries in this part of town. Your best bet would be to go to the upper levels of the city...if you can afford it"

She smiled again as she and Allina started to walk back towards their ship.
