Hi everyone!

Obviously i'm new and really interested in the site and how it works. I've only ever played DnD for RP with friends IRL. This is obviously really different but i want to learn how to play and whats what. I've wanted to start a SW RPG saga edition recently so i have a lot of Old Republic lore and stuff on my mind. I wanted my story to be set right before the KOTOR games. Might even start a roll20/discord play by post game. But probably only use my character name i created, seen here. haha

Could use some of the lore created here from stuff in that campaign if it ever starts. People have become alot more busy working and moving around so we haven't even did session 0 to see what people are gonna play and what they wanted from the game.

But I decided to make an account and post after a few of the guildlines were read and i check a few random threads. Hope to figure this forum out cause seems like alot to get into at first but so my kinda content.

I know it doesnt have alot of the needed info yet just want to test some of the coding to make it nice haha. What kinda stuff you think works or needs changing? comment on that thread probably easiest

@Rolyat Marr , I love the coding, and it's original, but I don't know what it is. Is it a template for a character profile? Other than that, it looks good!

Yeah probably just a character profile in a criminal/medical record style. I'm not sure what kinda character i wanna start writing up though so cant really do much atm other then read threads and mess with the template i'm gonna use haha

It's a great idea, and I suggest that you read other people's character profiles, to get a understanding and an idea of how to make a character!

Even though i have plenty of idea of what kinda character i want to create i just havent had the motivation to write here.

Been learning to mod/map Jedi Knight Jedi Academy, wish i had the patience to create a full scale version of the Hammerhead Cruiser, wish Gmod has a map for it so an RP server could host it.. Probably my second favorite ship, first being Ebon Hawk. But i do have most of a full scale done in Minecraft. haha

My two cents being thrown in..

Try sitting down, get a good book or throw on a Starwars/Lotr movie or some sort of movie you fancy and base your ideas from there and lay the foundation. Somedays it's hard to be motivated but I find sitting down and writing out on paper with pen my ideas and throwing them together for some sort of background as to what I want always helps..Especially with a good movie for background noise/motivation.
