Time For A Strike

PALADIN moved back. His head snapped up, and he let out a pent up breath. ''ssssssssssssssssss.........'' He got up. ''ye disturb me, an' use yin boot an me while ah'm doon?'' He picked up his bayonets, the case attatched to his back. ''Who are ye?'' He asked, bayonets ready to strike. He was already identifying weakpoints.

It took Adriana about 15 minutes to find the Governor's office. It was surprising quiet in the building. She contributed this to the fact that everyone was out fighting. She had a feeling that there was probably an Akegata member following her, but she did not want to slow do to find out for sure.

She entered his office and ignited her lightsaber.

 

[Will]

The chair faced her. The governor was not there. Someone else inhabited the chair. His long black hair fell on the black coat, and he stared at her through his near-white irises. He got up, smiling behind his mask. He flicked her sabre away, and hit her with a force push, knocking her out. Take her to the pre-determined point. Leave this place. All Akegata withdraw. Zamiel threw her over his shoulder, bending the light around himself, and leaving to his ship, strapping her into the seat. He injected her with sedative. His ship, one of many, left the planet.

 

[Ru the Boatswain]

Ruukil looked over as he heard a familiar 'thump' of the kayten weapon as Jallin died."Jallin..."Ruukil had lost the best sniper he had ever known. A great leader, Jallin now lay dead. Ruukil pushed jallin over and off of his sniper, and in turn got up and yelled."We're getting out of here. We've lost too many, we can meet uo with the others and go back to the main assualt. fromt ere we can be better protected.Go now."Ruukil grabbed Jallins things and proceeded to slide down safely to the ground. as the others followed- who oddly never saw the Kayten or even norticed their coming.
They reached the others sniping place and stopped for moment. "what happened?"]/color]Gom empitied the last of his clip on a turret team, ending its rain on the central position-where the midnight man was attempting to breach the wall.
Ruukil sighed heavily,"Jallins dead we are leaing this place. go now."Ruukil heaved up the extra weight he was carrying and ran, he ran all the way to the back lines. where Jallin and Mkladd were taken to the field medicae to see if they lived.
Ruukl walked up to a field officer,"whats the current situation, sir?"Ruukil saluted and wated for an answer.

 

[Lavi]

Hattie felt sick inside. These Akegata are powerful adversaries, but they keep utilizing the Force so that the corporal had difficulty doing anything in self-defense. There was a crackle in the frequency of one of the Akegata’s commlinks. Then it was over.

After struggling to her feet, Hattie patted pockets in search of her own commlink. She found it, and it sizzled and smoked when she attempted to turn it on. Cursing to herself, Hattie tossed it aside. In a weakened state in enemy territory with little hope for support – how promising.

 

[Wing]

Dilios looked in the sky, and saw many ships fleeing the city. They must be retreating, and the governor is probably on one of those ships. Only one way to find out, using the Force, he inacted a Force power called Knight Speed in which the Force allowed him to run and move faster than an ordinary man. After reaching the governor's office, he found it to be empty. He then ran outside the building and saw a Republic corporal, the one named Hattie. Dilios ran up to Hattie. "Are you okay?"

"Can ya blame me?"

The other guy seemed to be itching for a fight, getting some sort of weapons ready too. And the practiced eye of a predator informed him that the guy was looking for weakpoints. There were none to find, though the same was true in reverse.

Both were unique. Both were powerful. Both were monsters...

"You an' me... We ain't enemies yet. Don't make me haveta change that..."

Is was then that he realised what the weird thing he could smell was... drugs. Lots of drugs. They were everywhere in this room, in the shattered glass tube in the centre, on this guy...

"You..."

He pointed, and snapped at the man,

"They made you here! Tell me EVERYTHING!"

He snapped his hand down to his side, and began pacing, never taking his eyes off the man.

“I’ve been better,” said Hattie. She covers her mouth as her stomach lurched. However, that did not stop her from puking.

Once she was finished, the corporal gathered her scattered weapons, sheathing the vibrosword and carbine in hand. “Let’s get going.”

 

[The Balance]

Seeing the turret fire stop Kyle charged with renewed strength, the enemy seemed to be retreating. Running up to the wall he slapped his dynamite onto it, seeing many other soldiers do the same. Then dis-regarding the fox holes he sprinted back to his lines, hoping he would not get shot. He came back to find the secret project now un-necessary. Facing the wall he made sure all the soldiers were out of the way before he pressed the button in his pocket to bring down the walls. And with that he heard explosions and and the wall tumble down. After the dust settled he saw some soldiers start to run out after them, also dis-regarding the fox holes in a last ditch effort to save the city among them were sith shock troopers who were to be targeted first. Taking out his rifle he leveled it and then fired taking down a shock trooper. Then seeing his whole army start to fire at the on-coming wave of troops, it was a shame, such bravery but most if not all would be dead before they got even close to the Midnight Men lines.

Seeing the sniper come up to him the field officer of the resistance, immediately answered the man's question, "We launched our offensive against the enemies defenses, we have taken very few losses, thanks to your teams handy work." motioning toward the sniper's gun, and then the wall came down, "And it is my guess now that we have taken the wall and are planning to move in now." yelling over the collapsing of the wall.

 

[Ru the Boatswain]

Ruukil saluted smartly and turned to leave,"thanky you s'."Ruukil gave the order to move out. They now were a squa of three. Rukil ran to another scout group in reserve and grabbed two scouts he had met up with earlier that day, Makann and Sonnia. Makann was an expert sniper guard. He had originally been a recon man and was also Lorrdian like himself. Ruukil remembered him from the strike team that ended their alliance and moved them on. Sonnia, was a female sniper-turned-scout. She went for the position on Ruukils team in hopes of gaining a squad she would tolerate.
The five man squad moved out to begin ther advance through the wall.They stopped in the first set of fox-holes to get a few shots off. One shot Ruukil made deliberately flew a meter above the Midnight-mans head. It struck a sith trooper in the chest cavity and the trooper doubled over screaming.

 

[Santoro]

"Hoppy, bring the ship around!" Santoro ran from the building, towards where his red armored ship hovered, ramp lowered. Adriana was down and on one of those fleeing ships... No, THAT fleeing ship. With a flying leap, Santoro made it to the ramp, clipping his lightsaber to his belt and tossing Caden's effects in the passenger lounge, near the pirate's sleeping body. He closed the ramp, and ran to the cockpit, powering up and soaring after that ship.

"Hoppy, plug into the co-pilot seat, and transfer the turbolaser cannons to your control. I'll pilot the ship manually, so make sure to lock in." The droid obliged, rolling and magnetically locking to the floor.

Coaxing every bit of power he could from his massive eleven engine drive. He took manual controls of the two forward laser cannons and let loose after the assassin's ship, aiming for it's reactor. He started a tight beam transmission to the ship.

"Sith ship, this is Daniel Santoro of the Phoenix, the ship that's firing on you. On behalf of the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic, I am ordering you to land immediately."

Dexx was instructed on how to get to Ruukil's position and he listened. Running through bushes and crawling through grass, he got to Ruukil's position. "Hello Ruukil. I'm the man asked to get over here to help you. My name is Dexx Aampt." he said as he climbed into a foxhole and shot an enemy through the chest and into the man behind him. "Take that, sucker." he muttered and chuckled afterward.

 

[Ru the Boatswain]

"Nice to meet you. Gom, Move to that foxhole and let this man in here."Gom moved quickly barely making himself seen. Although not as vested as the late jallin he was still very skilled and followed orders well. Ruukil grabbed his stealth cloak around him so that his rifle semed to replace his arm. 'Crack' the rifle sounded and the skull of a sith soldier bent back forced by the round. Blood poured out of the mans neck and the head hung by muscle and sinew until the man was struck simultaneously by other soldiers shots. The battle was going well and Ruukil decided to stow the sniping. "Takesome shots everyone. prioritize targets, Officers down to the sith. No militia."Ruukil began to refit his rifle for closer range as he packed away the parts in a small field-pack strapped to his lower back. He loaded a fresh clip and flipped a small switch near the safety. "Ready when you guys are..."

Zamiel smiled as he dodged the turbolaser shots, the nimble ship moving faster than the average ship for it's size. He sent a message through the force as ship jumped to hyperspace, along with the other Akegata infiltrator ships. I think not, puny ex-jedi. You'll have to take this one back from us. The one you love... He added extra contempt to the last word. Such a weak emotion. The mission was a success. By the time the enemy could react, they would all be gone, faded into the shadows of hyperspace.

The sith commando squadrons had entered the city via dropship. THey took up positions, breaking up midnight men groups left. THey then took position on the walls, ready for attack. Rockets screamed down onto the trenches, followed by a bombing run from the dropship.

PALADIN looked at this man, prowling around him. He wanted to know about his construction? Very well. He seemed to be like him. Dangerous. If he turned, he'ed kill him.

''Ah will tell ye. Ah'm th woork o' the parasol company. They wanted tae make a supersoldier, tae combat the republic project. Ah was made from the remenants o' project 626, Codename: DAEMON. They hoped tae test me t'day. Ah killed 'em. 'tis all ah know for now'' He answered. ''And ye? Whit art ye?'' He asked the bestial man.​

 

[Santoro]

"You never stop being a Jedi, bantha brains." Santoro shook his head, annoyed rather than upset. He pressed a few buttons, and his ship's secret was revealed as two small compartments opened below the viewscreen, dual concussion missile launchers. Bringing all the ship's guns to bear, Santoro unleashed a barrage coming from five turbolasers, two quad cannons, and pairs of concussion missiles.

"Divert shield and non-essential system's power to the quads up front. Keep pushing those engines... We're not letting this one get away. Watch for it when it jumps to hyperspace, we're following it." He paused, and looked back at Caden in the passenger compartment, just beginning to come to.

"And send a message to Kyle. Tell him I'm sorry I left, but I can't leave her again. Have him bring a dropship around to pick up the rest of the strike team at the City Hall."

The Ship had long gone by the time the ship's 'secret was unleashed, lost to the depths of hyperspace. The ship reappeared, along with others, on a backwater planet. When there, they all landed, hidden beneath 100m of rock. Just within sensor range if a ship orbited close. Two of the S-rank Katyen Zamiel had brought with him took the woman to a room. There, she was placed onto a steel table, and strapped in. It rotated, so that it was 45 degrees, facing the door. Zamiel walked in. All still wore their masks. He drew his ritual blade, and cut deeply into her arm, just below the shoulder.

Makann and Ruukil glanced at eachother as the bombs fell. Pulling their comrades down the explosion rocked the foxholes but it appeared to have a relatively low effect on the well trained soldiers. Some others though were obliterated instantly."We move on my mark."The breach area in the wall had begun to thin as enemies slowed their advance out of the wall. He raised his hand to hold. As soon as the next salvo of fire hit enemies, Ruukil threw his hand down and clamered out of the foxhole and began to sprint towards the next position. The rest of the team followed suit, Gom leading as he was the fastest. They dropped down into the next set of trenches, Ruukil looked over and saw the Midnight Man."Midnight!"Ruukil exclamed he crawled over to The Midnight Man and raied up next to him."Sir ready to go in?"

OOC: KK to the npced peoples, and I was gonna complain but I had a hunch it might be her idea, so I let it go, oh and the walls destroyed Mrun0riginal so I find it quite they are standing on it unless they are standing in the rubble.

Seeing the troopers charge fail, the midnight men had renewed strength, but then the bombing run came, taking cover, a few men were killed mainly resistance members. But it didn't matter all were ready to die for their cause, calling for a dropship from the frigate, Kyle sent the two fighters after the dropship firing proton torpedos making sure it couldn't make anymore bombing runs. Seeing the arrival of the dropship, Kyle knew the battle was already over, sending his best men into it they flew around the city and found the are where all the snipers had taken out the turrets sending them in there, they went to the governor's office to pick up the remaining strike team, and send out a message to all city guard to attack the sith. Once there they discovered the shocking news that adriana had been captured. They set off to warn the midnight man as soon as the remaining strike team members got back. The remaining city guard members now working for the good side pointed their weapons and the ones maning turrets trained them on the sith shock troopers. Shouting out Kyle said, "Sith troopers you have fought well, if you surrender now we will let you get back to your dropship and return home, if not I am sorry to say you will die."
