"An Empire without Sith, a Republic without Jedi, a real government." - Admiral Tol Shaga Tol Shaga is a Kel Dor male who serves as Admiral of the New Sith Imperium's Navy. Coming from the dark and dusty Expansion Rim world of Dorin, Shaga began his naval career with the Dorin Defense Fleet. Though his posting was not notable, Shaga's creativity and dedication made his home sector the safest in the Expansion Rim. His ascension through the ranks was a tribute to his dedication and loyalty. With an extraordinary number of victories against the Rebellion on his name, Shaga earned the attention of high-ranking officers on Imperial Center. Transferred to the Imperial Navy, Shaga was discriminated against due to his specie. However, he achieved success thanks to Admiral Alysia Vasma, who discovered him after he defeated many skilled Imperial opponents in simulated battles, using an alias to hide his true identity. Vasma took him under her wing, and as she rose in the ranks, so did he. Given the captaincy of the Devastator-class Star Destroyer Harbinger, Shaga served relentlessly until the command of the fleet's flagship, the Derriphan-class Super Star Destroyer Condemnation, was vacant. As captain of the Harbinger, Shaga supported his superior, Admiral Miros Treszla. At the Battle of Sullust, Treszla was summarily executed by the Sith Order for incompetence, allowing Shaga to swiftly step into the admiral's role. The Kel Dor officer spend most of his time in fighting the Rebellion and secretly exploring the Unknown Regions. And due to the Imperial humanocentrism, Shaga created a rivalry with his fellow humans, replacing most of the human members of his fleet by members of different species. Personality Character Alignment Loyal to the Imperium / Neutral Character Traits Positive Traits Creative: Shaga is an extremely creative person. He can easily formulate different strategies to achieve his goals, whether military, political or economic objectives. Dedicated: Shaga is known for his great dedication to his services in the Navy. Always focused and determined, he quickly works to complete his tasks and missions in the most perfect way possible. Neutral Traits Diplomatic: Shaga is a male of few words, but always prioritizes dialogue before any action involving violence. This philosophy has made him develop a powerful conversational ability, making him an influential diplomat. Warlike: When Shaga's diplomatic skills dont work, comes his last option: War. Despite his pacifism, Shaga is a powerful warlord, able to formulate the most varied strategies to subdue his enemies and conquest the victory. Negative Traits Rigid: Shaga is a rigid person, requiring of the members of his fleet discipline and organization. Any indisciplinary or irresponsible activity is subject to dismissal, imprisonment or even execution. Rebel: Despite being loyal to the Imperium, Shaga has a certain insubordination to the High Command and the Sith Order. This is due to the Imperium's xenophobic and humanocentric practices. Beliefs Views on the New Sith Imperium Shaga is loyal to the Imperium and its laws, but had a negative view of the High Command and the Sith Order. This is due to the xenophobic and humanocentric practices, disregarding any individual that is not human and consequently committing atrocities and xenocidal campaigns against Non-human species. He also believes that the Imperium will only be truly victorious when fully separate from the Sith Order, following the line of reasoning that all factions that were linked to a organized force tradition was eventually defeated. Despite all this, he believes that only the Imperium, being governed by normal males and females of different species, can definitely stabilize the order in the galaxy. Views on the Sith and New Jedi Order For Shaga, any faction connected to a organized force tradition is destined to fall. For him, those traditions are responsible for the chaos in the galaxy, being their rivalries and differences the background for thousands of bloody wars during the galactic history. Views on the Rebellion Shaga believes that the rebellion is only a consequence of the Imperium's subordination to the Sith Order. When the Imperium secede from the dark force-sensitive's order, and the rebels from the Jedi, the war will cease and the order will prevail. Views on the Hutt Cartel and Criminal Factions For Shaga, the Hutt Cartel and the others criminal factions are merely infestations that will be eliminated when the Imperium win the war and establish its control over the galaxy, with a strong and accurate government. Sith Order (to my knowledge) is currently rather open and accepting of aliens right now.

He's applying for it, you could always apply for whatever rank you want. It's just up to the FLs to decide if you get the rank or not.

Rank questions/concerns aside, did you obtain permission from Kiro to reference their character Talizbeth Scryer in your bio? If not, I'm not certain how that bit might be taken. If you have gotten permission, no problem. However, if this is just some random coincidence in which you happened to come up with the same name [which seems improbable], then that's just random luck I suppose.

I'm not entirely sure if people accept characters anymore per say. You can start to RP your character as long as your biography is up, but you have to apply with the Empire to join their ranks and to discuss your rank with them :)

Well, right now I'm a bit busy writing a story arc involving the V'zari. And about the rank, I need wait the Imperium's leader enter to allow my character.

A couple of things;

Humanocentric: The Imperium is not humanocentric. The Imperial Military is honestly more of a meritocracy than anything else. The Supreme Commander (also Dark Lord of the Sith) is a Barabel and we have had many alien characters do well in the military and government. If you're good at what you do, you get recognition for it, regardless of Race or Gender or Species. Slavery is outlawed and slavers face immediate field execution, aliens have equal rights with no glass ceiling, and massacres/genocides are truly kept to a minimum. Mandalorians objectively were asking for it. Honestly, if it werent for the whole dictatorship led by dark side fanatics, the Imperium would objectively be a better government than the Alliance it replaced >.> <.<

Flagship: There are only 2 functional Derriphan currently in existence, one assigned to guard and transport Empress Andraste, and the other is the Night Fury, the command ship of the Anaxes Home Fleet and Darth Vereor's personal flagship. Not to mention, an Admiral character would be in command of one of the smaller Command-level Star Destroyers, either a Hyperion or a Skira. The Derriphan, should more be created, are more of a Grand Admiral type deal.

Rank -- At this time in the military we are looking for experienced pilot characters, tacticians, and most importantly writers willing to work for the Command ranks, but are not allowing the creation of a character at a command rank. I'd need to take a look at the roster and check into our needs, but barring special circumstance or a proven willingness/dedication/etc to advancing the military we generally start most new members at the bottom of the totem pole so they can work themselves up.
