If the Rebels have a shot at winning this war that we're ramping up, we need a lot of creds, and fast. So, we're getting a job together. Bring a mask and cover your tattoos, we're going on a heist.

Too Close to the Sun

The DSC Daedalus is one of the most thriving economic sectors in the galaxy. With corporations, gambling, and factions dumping credits into their banks and stocks on the space station, it makes a rather lucrative, not to mention intimidating, mark. Our target is the Daedalus Station Depository...the central hub for all banking activity in the corporate sector. Grab the hard currency first, then try to transfer digital if time allows. Get out and go dark. Lastly, this never happened. If you're caught, you aren't a Rebel.​

Objectives:

• Grab as much solid currecy as possible, non-consecutive
• Make it look like a Cartel job
• Kill no unarmed civilians, unless they resist or try any funny business
• Don't get caught
• Optional: Slice into their systems and transfer digital funds in a non-traceable manner

I had planned for NPCs, since I was unsure how to work in OpFor PCs into the mix, but am open to ideas.

okay I'll bite. Feel free to sign Corto up as a gun. He's rather skilled at infiltration.

Also, if you want PC resistance, I'm sure there are mercenaries out there that could play the role. Just a possibility.

Just curious what about the Cartel's reaction when being blamed for something they didn't do wrong in this case? Especially in a station where they do business in without trouble? Hopefully they wouldn't care about being accused of one heist, but they likely would want to know who could make it look like them and they do got the resources to find out. I got noting really against this mission jusf pointing out a possible consequence to consider.

Chose the Cartel because they're loose enough of an organization that they can blame it on splinter groups or gangs, yet still be a plausible threat versus an established and well constructed faction like the Imperium. To minimize risk during the operation, especially afterward, nobody will be caught (hopefully), and everybody will keep it quiet and do their best to be harder to trace after everything is said and done. This is also why hard currency is being taken, much harder to trace and comes in many forms.

To be fair, it's not as if the Hutts are a united entity- there's plenty of factions who might be willing to get their hands this dirty, or it could even just be an overly zealous group of independents. Lots of people to push off the blame to. You do bring up a good point though- This operation involves quiet a huge amount of risk, so if you guys bungle it don't expect anyone to come rushing to your aid, unless their looking to "aid" you with a blaster in the back of the head. Be very careful.
