So. I've been to my USAF recruiter twice. Both times I've been underweight. The first time that I went, I weighed 125lbs and he told me to gain around 10 pounds if not more. Well, I constantly lose weight in my sleep when I get too stressed, which sucks, and two nights ago I weighed myself and I weighed 138lbs. Yesterday morning I weighed 133lbs. Guess what the minimum weight requirement for my height is!
138lbs. -_-

So, I'm pretty upset. I took a leave of absence form my work and decided to go spend some time with my grandparents and let them fatten me up. All of the stress of working and bills and etc, just isn't allowing me to gain the way I need to. So I'm going to sit here for about a week, give or take, and then head back down there. After I come back from MEPS I'll pick up where I left off.

Nothing like grandparents and their home cooked meals!

How could you lose 5 pounds overnight? That sounds extremely unhealthy.

Go to the recruiter directly. If he says you are underweight you should consume him. Adding his weight to yours will allow you to meet the requirements and it will show the others around you that you are a mighty warrior

I didn't eat a lot when I was a kid. Food was pretty scarce, and my body type just doesn't allow it. My mom has the same sort of metabolism as I. I assure you though, I'm pretty fit. I just have a ridiculous metabolism.
You could have a broken scale. *shrug*
I thought that, but I also weigh myself at the gym and it read the same things.

Gumption, sir. It's all about gumption.

I'd say you go to a nutriologist or something like that. Sounds like you have a condition mate.

Losing 5 pounds overnight is really ridiculous. I have a fairly crazy metabolism myself, but my weight stays stable.

I have considerable difficulty keeping weight on too due to my anxiety disorder. I have also inherited a crazy metabolism from other family members. My sister had the opposite problem and eventually became anorexic due to her desperation to lose weight.

Yeah. I do lots of compound exercises, squats, dead lifts, etc. I eat like crazy, and I have a lot of stress. I'm not going to give up though just yet. I finally have a chance to relax and take it easy, so I'm going to get that weight back up fairly easy.

OH! inb4 the people that talk about protein supplements hop in.
I just finished my second tub of natural whey protein shake formula. I also tried this extreme weight gainer for hardgainers a while back and it had like 65g protein 5g complex creatines in every serving. I got a little bit of water weight, but I plateaud on it and it eventually made me really sick.

Anyways. Don't get fat get fit. Protein and working out. Builds muscle mass.

Water weight! Comes and goes like that. Cinnamon and Green Tea most of all help you lose the water weight.

I have seen the P90 work out help a few of people gain muscle. Then there is the advice to constant constantly snack on Peanuts and Granola.

Food additives and chemicals mess with the Thyroid. Have that and your hormones checked.

A lot of people are just like you. It doesn't last forever. And then you look back to these days..

Thanks! Yeah, believe me when I say that when I went from 125lbs to 135lbs, I was researching so much. I'm insanely tired of peanut butter, bananas, bread, pastas, and protein shakes. I thought for a minute that maybe my thyroid was fast (which it probably is), but I'm not going to let anything stop me. I've already gained more than ten since the first visit, but all of the stress from money and work (bartender, so I do a bit of running) makes me shed it. Another 5-10 won't be hard.
