Tournament Match: Darman vs. Shen Ku

[Darman]

With the Infrared still on, he saw a little red dot move in his visor. Darman again shot fiftey shots out of the blaster. Some were at the sith, and some were at the sand dune that he ran to.

*Shen started to run forward at the Mandalorian, back towards the monster pit. Blaster shots came, but were deflected. Shen was angry and focused now, drawing upon his own strength and anger that allowed him to see the blaster shots clearly and deflect them with graceful movements. After some 50 blaster shots or so, he had covered about 50 feet, and had another 50 or so feet to go before reaching the monster pit, and then going around that to fight that Mandalorian.*

 

[Darman]

Darman then pulled out his pistol, and kept his blaster drawn. He now shot sixty blasts at the sith. He couldn't possibly deflect them all. Darman then shot three more electro launchers at the sith, right after shooting at him.

 

[Jorax]

*Lightsabers danced, blaster shots flew as they hit the walls of lightsabers and bounced off to other places. Shen couldn't deflect them all, but even then, he moved around so that he wouldn't have to. Moving in an irregular zig zag, he gained more distance, as Darman kept shooting at him. Then, as more shots came, he drew another ligthsaber, ignited it, and used two of them to delfect the shots as well. Now, he neared the Monster pit, as he started to run around it, as Darman still shot the heated energy at him. Deflection was no matter, but stamina was. He would soon have to eat another food capsule before he would be tired again.*

 

[Darman]

As the sith neared the monster pit, Darman threw two mini dets at the sith. He only had three to four left and he had to use them in limits. As the area exploded, sand flew up all around the area of the sith. Darman then shot two electro launchers into the fray, hoping that they would hit thier target.

 

[Jorax]

*Shen ducked and covered as he saw more mini dets come and blow the sand around him, as he rolled away and kept going. Then he heard a whirling sound, as an odd electrical sound was made. He was in dire need of another food capsule, but he pushed himself to go forward. Then he made a couple of blinks, and saw his target. Electro launchers. Using one saber, he made one big arc above his head, cleaving both into 4 equal halves as the sand cleared and he kept running around the pit, making his way for that headstrong Mandalorian. On the way, he popped another pill in his mouth to keep going.*

 

[Darman]

As the sith was approaching Darman, now withing a couple yards, he began to run backwards. Since his equipment was running out, he wasn't as heavy as the sith may have thought. After running for a few seconds, Darman picked up a det pack off the sand and threw it at the sith behind him. He then detonated it as soon as it hit the sand. Darman was thrown forward as the pack exploded. The sith would had to have beeen thrown backwards, which means that there would be more space in between them.

 

[Jorax]

*Shen was flying in the air once again, and gripped onto one lightsaber, as the other fell through his hands into the sand. As he was soaring in the air, he had seen on the Mandalorian's belt that there were no more dets, meaning he had to go to close combat now. It was his time to shine now. Once he landed, he actually landed on two feet, but it was a hard landing as he backflipped and landed. With one lightsaber in his hand, and another somewhere in the middle of him and the Mandalorian, he popped his last food pill into his mouth with his free hand as he threw his lightsaber hard at the Mandalorian. He still had 2 more lightsabers on the back of his belt, which the Mandalorian had never seen, so by throwing his only lightsabers away, it would look like he would either cheat or give up.*

 

[Darman]

Darman began to run at the sith as soon as he landed. When the sith landed, Darman was closing in on a few yards within him. Darman heard a small pat on the sand as the lightsaber dropped behind him. Darman then noticed the sith act as though he was about to throw his last lightsaber. Darman, thankfully, guessed right and jumped as he was a foot from the jedi. The lightsaber passed underneath him, as he was over the sith. He dropped the two more mini dets and dropped his final det pack ontop of the sith. Darman then landed behind him, and not waiting for the sith's reaction detonated the pack, which would cause the mini dets to also explode. Darman put his hands up but that would not stop the force of the explosion push him back ten feet, so that he landed in the sand, armor smoking.

 

[Jorax]

*Shen missed completely as the Mandalorian dropped the last of his mini dets on him as he jumped past him. For a Mandalorian in armor, that was something else, as Shen dropped to the floor, and used his core muscles as well as all of his lower body strength to kick the mini dets back in the air. The mini dets exploded as Shen ducked and covered and small pieces of the dets went into Shen's back as he just grunted and rolled off into the sand from the power of the explosion. With sand in his wounds, he just grunted and drew from the Dark Side of the Force. He said he couldn't use any Force Powers, but it didn't mean he couldn't vent out his anger with it. Winds swept around the Mandalorian and Shen as Shen popped another pill into his mouth. He was already full from the food pill, but this was a different pill. An adrenaline pill. This would get him working in minutes. With newfound energy and pain, he found that the power he gained from it was amazing as he slowly stood up, and found that because of the explosion, he was next to one lightsaber. Shen picked it up, and didn't care for the other. Time to kill the Mandalorian.*

 

[Darman]

Darman was beginning to run out of options. He was still thirty feet away from the sith, a safe distance for now. Darman aimed both of his arm up at the sith. He then fired two more electro launchers at the sith, then a wide stream of flame. For the first time in the battle Darman was close enough to use his flamethrower, and the sith couldn't use the force to deflect it. Darman then began to back up as the fire continued to shoot out at the sith.

*Shen was caught by streams of fire as the sand started to glisten as it slowly turned to a smooth look of glass. Running backwards, he was still facing the fire head on, and had to find a way to get closer without having much problems. Then he reached for his belt for a speed pill and then he felt something...and then remembered he carried smoke bombs. Eating the speed pill, he threw 1 smoke bomb, causing disarray and distraction as he ran off to the side and saw electricity in the fire, meaning some sort of electrical pulse was coming from the flamethrower. Running towards the Mandalorian, he hoped that Darman wouldn't notice him within a few seconds coming from the side, but if he did, there were always ways to deal with it.*

 

[Darman]

With the infrared still on and the air filtrators working, the smoke was no problem. As Darman saw the sith come into the smoke from the side of Darman, he jumped out of the smoke. Now the sith was in there by himself. Darman then tossed in a flash detonator into the cloud of haze. The sith should not be able to sense or see the det, so it should work. If Darman's plan does work, the sith will be blinded by the light that comes out of the det, and that reflects off of the smoke. The sith should be blinded, then Darman can rush in and finish off the match.

 

[Jorax]

*Shen's eyes were filled with bright light as they were instantly blinded. Dropping to his knees, he shut his eyes, focusing on the darkness to let his pupils adjust, but however, he rolled as he did it to avoid the flame. Shen didn't need eyes to know where the flame was. If it got hot, roll in the direction away from the heat. However, he knew that the Mandalorian would spring a trap soon, and hopefully his eyes would be somewhat better by then, or else he would have to fight blindfolded.*

 

[Darman]

Infrared working, Darman shot three of his electro launchers at the sith in the smoke. The sith should not be able to sense these so atleast one should hit, as they flew to the sith's left leg, right arm, and chest. Darman only had four electro launchers left, but they were at a high enough voltage to end the match if one were to hit.

 

[Jorax]

*Shen felt the streams of fire stopping, as something tingled in the back of his head. Something was coming, but what? He couldn't know, but then he heard an electrical shock, as he guessed they were electro launchers headed right for him. Shen couldn't see them, but he could sure as hell move. Using his ears as his eyes, he quickly dove to the left as the electrical sounds went past him, but one was too close to his toes as it burned them to a certain degree as it flew by. Apparently the electro launchers were sure as hell on high voltage or else they wouldn't have burned his toes! Groaning in massive pain, his adrenaline started to pump at a high rate which gave him a sudden spur of the movment to get up, and draw on the pain which gave him power. Standing up, he opened his eyes to find that they had finally readjusted, and could see well enough for now, although there were still blurs, the Mandalorian was clear enough to be killed. Running forward with a bloodthirsty fury, he ran forward and once again threw a smoke bomb while hurling another lightsaber at the Mandalorian within the smoke.*

 

[Darman]

As the sith threw the smoke bomb at Darman, he activated his power shields again to maximum. Darman rushed at the jedi, as the infrared had the sith marked. As he was closing in, he saw another heat signature being hurled at him. Darman drops to the left as another bright blade flies past him.

Darman then sprung up and pulled out his blade. He then rushed quicly again at the sith faster, knowing that the sith didn't have another lightsaber activated so there would be no way to defend. Darman activated his speed and dexterity enhancers, and attacked the sith, who looked like a red fighure through the infrared, with a horizontal slash in front of him.

*Shen suddenly heared a whirl through the smoke, as he instinctively jumped back out of the smoke. Opening his eyes, he found that there was no smoke, but it was in front of him. Drawing another saber from the back part of his belt, he ignited it, as he waited for the Mandalorian to attack.*

 

[Darman]

Darman, still in the smoke, activated his advanced stealth shield. This one did more than just blend him into the environment. Darman then tossed another flash gernade to the sith. As it went off, Darman sprung out of the smoke, aiming an attack with his blade to where the sith's head should be. Darman wasn't worried about getting attacked, because of the speed and dexterity enhancer. That would help him dodge any close attack.

 

[Jorax]

*Shen saw something rolling out of the smoke, which meant the Mandalorian had thrown something...and there were no more dets, so that meant those horrible flash grenades. Pure white light illuminated the sky as Shen shut his eyes quickly to not be blinded again. Then he heard a sudden hunk of metal and footsteps coming towards him, so he just rolled off to the side. Through his eyelids, there was still a bright light, meaning the Mandalorian had infared. So everything up till now was in vain. Standing up, he would use his ears as his eyes to fight.*
