As the shuttle landed on the landing pad that was right next to the temple. Arador stood up, gripping his walking stick tightly in his hands as he started to feel a bit nervous. No he was not nervous about the training or the path he has chosen to follow. It was the thought of other Jedi telling Alek to take hom back to Alderaan due to the fact that the teemager is blind. Although he has a feeling that Alek would disobey if he was ordered to take Arador back to his homeplanet.

The beating of his heart elevated as the ramp lowered with a slight hiss and hum before the end lightly thumped the ground. Attempting to swallow his nervousness as he started to walk down the ramp with his stick held out to make sure he didn't run into anyone or anything. He did not need to see it to know, but he can feel others looking right at him. It is something that the teenager is used to, but what makes him feel a bit out of place is that it is other jedi. Arador imagined having all sorts of judgemental thoughts. Which did not help at all with his nervousness.

Looking in the direction that he thought his mentor was at he couldn't push how nervous he was off of his face, "Alek.. What if they tell you to take me back?" He asked as he tried to push down his emotions. Trying to think of the training he is eager to begin, and the excitement of beginning the path he has chosen thanks to Alek taking the time to come get him. He will not be here if it was not for Alek, so the least he can try to do is worry more about what his mentor has to say over the others. Easier said than done, but Arador will try.

The teenager's senses were going crazy as they took in the sounds and smells along with the mumbled chatter of jedi talking to each other. The boy slowly started to feel the excitement come back to him as the senses started to push his thoughts out of his mind. Looking up when a flock of aquatic birds flew past then looked back to Alek eager to begin his training.

As the ship landed Alek was glad the two of them had finally arrived at the temple. The ramp lowered and the fresh air hit Alek, a warm welcome from the planet. But then turning his attention to Arador, he could sense his excitement as well as he was nervous. He asked Alek what if the council told him to be taken back? Alek put a hand in his shoulder “If I did not believe wothout a sliver of a second thought about this choice and your abilities, we would be here.” He smiled “Even if the grandmaster himself of the order told me to, I would do anything even if it ment leaving myself to train you by ourselves.” He paused knowing fully well that he ment it and would not hesitate to do so. “We don’t judge in appearance or anything like that, it’s what you got inside that counts, and your are the kind of people this order needs, now let’s get you your own space while your staying here.” Then he started to lead the teen inside taking in the view as Alek did, the temple was his place of his beginning as a Jedi as well, soon they would start their training after he got settled in.

Arador looked from the temple to Alek as the jedi answered his question. The man's answer not only eased the teenager's uneasiness but also reassured him. Above that it was a bit of a shock when Alek said that he would leave the order to train Arador if he had to. The teenager had no idea that he was that stead fast amd determined on training him. Arador hoped now that the man will not have to leave the order to do so.

The teenager did not want to be the cause of Alek losing a place he most likely saw as home. But then again if it bothered Alek at all the man would not have brought the teenager all this way in the first place. So Arador believed every word his mentor said. He nodded as he felt excitement bloom again, "Yes, sir." He followed Alek into the temple learning to pick up the sound of his footsteps during their short time together so far. The teenager wished that he was able to see now, certain the view is amazing.

As they walked the halls Alek took in the views inside the temple. Soon they would come to a room that was ready to be moved into, a queen bed lay in the top farthest left corner along with a dresser, and a closet to the far right side wall also a small table and two chairs set in the front right corner near the door. “Here we are your room ready for your arrival, if you want you can have today to settle in and we start training in the morning, or you can settle in for a few minutes and we can begin now. It’s your choice just let me know that and anything else you may need we can figure it out.” He said wanting to make his apprentice feel confertable with this being an ajustment. He stood there at the doorway waiting for a response so he could plan his next actions accordingly to help the young Jedi.

Even though he was not able to see how big the temple is, Arador was able to tell from the echoes of footsteps and conversations. So he can tell from listening that the place is massive. So that he wasn't separated from Alek the teenager moved to be closer to his mentor. The last thing he wanted was to be cut off from him since he has no idea where he is being taken to and since no one knew him Arador didn't want any drama.

The boy stopped when Alek stopped as the man opened the door to his room, "It's already ready for me?" The teenager asked wondering if or when Alek sent word of their arrival. His brain was screaming for him to worry about settling in later and start training now. Arador walked into the room, it was more so to see where everything is situated. He noticed that there is a lot of space between the furniture so the teenager does not have to worry about running into anything. He paused in his tracks as soon as he felt that the teenager had the layout of the room memorized enough, "If it is alright. I'd like to spend a few minutes to settle in then start training." The teenager said as he walked over to Alek, "Thank you for bringing me here, Alek." He smiled brightly as he thanked the jedi.

Alek smiled back at Arador, knowing he was exited to start he then said “Ok I’ll be back in say 20-30 minutes and we can start your first lesson.” Then giving him a small communicator that can be held in hand, he said then turning down the hallway to leave “If you need somthing, just use that and I’ll awnser so that we can just keep tabs on one another since some missions we will be off world to do but for now just here I’ll be back alright.” Then he walked off to gather a few things to help train the boy, his first lesson would be simple but frustrating to say the least. All Aleks students before had done it so this was no different, The apprentice would find this to be helpful in more ways than at first perceived. He could still remember his first lesson from the order though hard it was simple looking back now, but this time once again he was the teacher and was fully ready to pass down any knowledge he could to the young boy who he now took into the order. Time can only tell how all will unfold.

Arador nodded as he was told that it will be twenty to thirty minutes that the training will start. The teenager didn't mind the wait since the training will still be happening, "Alright. Sounds good to me." He said as the man handed him a small communicator. Arador took it careful not to drop the small device as he explored it by rolling it around in his hand, "I think I will be alright. But I will contact you if anything comes up." He mentioned as the teenager put the communicator away in one of the pockets on his belt.

Hearing Alek's footsteps moving away Arador turned into his room, closing the door behind him. The teenager placed his stick in one of the corners since he doubted he will need it in the small but decent sized space. Feeling for the window he popped it open, the breeze, sound of rustling leaves and song birds filled the room pleasantly. Walking over to the bed he plopped down onto it, taking his boots off as he wondered what to do. Laying back on the bed with his feet dangling off Arador simply laid there listening to the noises the open window is letting in. Staying awake a proving to be a bit of a challenge so he hopped off the bed and shuffled over to the table and chairs. Dragging one of the chairs over to the window he sat down with his hands on his knees to listen. He didn't want to make the decision to start training now and waste his mentor's time by falling asleep. So to keep himself awake the boy guessed at what types of birds he was hearing.

About a half hour later, Alek comes to get his apprentice. Knocking on the door Arador opens it and follows Alek out of the temple “Our first lesson will not be here, we must travel a small distance to a place I’ve taken my past students at the start of their journey.” Leading in for a time they finally come to as small valley at its end a wall, only one way in or out. “Ok Arador I want you to stand here.” Alek said placing the boy in place as the sun shown high above let If a pleasant warmth and the rocks surrounding were tall Alek then spoke again “A question my young apprentice, what is the force, and what does it mean to you. Understand there is no wrong way to reply to this question just the answer you feel within to share. To just be honest and I’ll explain further after you tell me.” He stood back from the apprentice and waited so the lesson could be taught this would mean a great deal once fully understood but Alek waited so that the apprentice can speak and learn on his path of being a Jedi.

Almost thirty minutes later Arador heard knocking on the door. He knew that it is Alek since he has been expecting him. The teenager walked over to the door, grabbing his stick along the way. Opening the door the boy stepped out, eager to get started, "Alright." The teenager said with enthusiasm as he wondered where his mentor is going to take him for the first training lesson. He had to fight down the urge to ask or the teenager will start pounding Alek with endless questions.

When they got to the valley Arador stood where he was told to stand. Relaxing as he felt the warmth of the sun on him. The teenager looked to his mentor then pondered over what he thought the force was. Yes he has an idea what the force is, it is just forming it into words without mumbling or going on and on explaining it. The teenager took a deep breath, "It's.. Something that influences everything... It just depends on how a person responds and interprets it." At least that is what Arador thought since he has never really thought about what the force actually is. The boy had no idea if he should explain why he thought of the force that way. But then as Alek explained, there is no right or wrong answer.

Alek smiled “A good response, one that you should keep close when learning the ways of the force, this is part of the first lesson you must understand what it is to you before you can hope to use it to help you.” After this Alek quickly throws a small pebble that will hit Arador in the chest. Nothing to injure him but he will feel it. Then Alek replies “Now for part two of the lesson is to apply this simple truth to further understand what the force is to you by using it to see even if your blind” then throwing more small pebbles to build the young ones senses as well as making sure he took the boys stick for this exercise. He will see just how the apprentice will handle the task.

Arador smiled, he thought that his response was a rather silly one, maybe a bit odd. But it appeared to not be to his mentor considering how he responded. The teenager pondered over what Alek said next. How will understanding what the force means to him supposed to help him? He blinked when Arador felt something hit is chest, just a light tap though. Like someone flicking him.

Arador felt a little exposed when his stick was taken from him. He had always carried that around and depended on it on helping him find his way around or to defend himself. How is he exactly going to end up being able to see enough to defend himself? Arador had no idea how he will get through these two lessons. For a moment the boy felt himself getting a bit worked up due to not being able to see what is being thrown at him. That is until he felt something hit his hand.. A pebble? The teenager calmed himself as he tried to think of what the force meant to him, yes he said it is something that is influential. But what exactly was it trying to influence him to do?

Another pebble tapped against his shoulder followed by another to his chest as he tried to think. After a moment or two he decided to remember the incident involving bully during school. Another three taps to his abdomen as he ran through his memories thinking that one incident then another being a conversation with his mother. What was it that he said to her that cemented his decision.. What was it?

Feeling something coming at him as he tried to remember Arador stepped out of the path of one pebble coming at him. Blinking when he heard it whistle past him the boy tilted his head. He had to be on the right path.

Alek kept his small assault of pebbles at the apprentice, finally seeing him take action to move slowly Alek could see and sense he was feeling and using the force to find his way. “That’s it, let it flow through your body. The force is flowing through everything, once you can control your sense of it you can see anything that stands in your path. This gift you hold is one that can be used I’m many ways but now only for the sense of sight keep going.” He said as he continued to throw more pebbles at Arador wanting to take things slow for now to get him used to this new aid he could learn to use. And Arador seemed to be picking it up quickly Alek was pleased so far and would see just how well he could handle this task.

Arador wondered how he was able to feel the pebble before it made contact. He figured that he was on the right path. Perhaps if he could remember what it was that he said to his mother. Then maybe, just maybe it is the key. Then Aradorbin a ways be able to see again. The teenager tried again to 'feel' the next pebble but wasn't able to detect it in time. Taking a deep breath Arador collected himself.

Then the boy remembered what he had said to his mother. It seemed to have been the key because when another pebble waa thrown at him, Arador 'saw' it coming and was able to react quickly as he raised his hands to block it and move out of the way of another. The teenager smiled as he figured out how to connect himself to the force and what the key was.

As they continued Alek saw the young apprentice ima way get it, but still needed much work. It won’t happen in a day he would have to keep training him from here on out to further his abilities. He stops his pebble throwing “Alright let stop for a moment, another task now to continue to strengthen your connection to the force.” He smiles remembering again he doing this “Im going to hide while staying in sight of you, your task is to then sense my force presence and catch me. But I must warn you you’ll again not be needing the stick, now count to twenty and we’ll start this little exercise.” Then he stopped and quietly took off a distance away, knowing how to stay quiet and to stimulate his force aura by a small portion to help the young boy. He would not only need to see Alek, but any obstocal in his way to reach and catch him.

Arador had somewhat figured out how to connect with the force. But it was not perfect, a lot of work atill needs to be done. But the thought of somewhat getting it felt good to the apprentice as his mentor stopped the lesson. The boy took the small break to collect himself once more and grinned, "I was going to say that I'd prefer to do the next lesson without my stick." He told Alek.

The teenager nodded as the older male told him what the next lesson will be. It was pretty much the same as the first lesson, just with a twist. Arador closed his eyes for good measure. Yes he is blind and can't see where his mentor is going, but it is just for good measure. Opening his eyes, Arador looked around trying to pick up on Alek's presense. He slowly walked towards the forest, tripping on a tree vine he caught himself before he fully fell to the ground. Straightening himself, Arador tried to pick up on Alek's aura and that of the environment.

Alek sat in a tree watching the young boy stumble around, he was close to the goal at connecting to the force. But not quite there yet. It can’t be that easy now so Alek lifted a rock with the force and knocked it on a tree to the opposite direction of him to throw the young one off. Not making a sound or word he did this repeatedly over and over so the apprentice would have to clear his mind to focus on his location alone. But until the he watched with a smile to Aradors confusion waiting for what would come next.

Arador stumbled around as he tried to pick up on where Alek is. He is trying to connect with the force but everytime he got close something threw it off. The teenager stood still and looked around when he heard an object hitting another object. Going in the direction of the sound, the boy looked around confused for a moment or two.

Looking back at the rock that was thumping against the tree, he unconsciously breathed in rhythm with the rock hitting the tree. Focusing on that as though he was in some sort of trance, subconsciously asking the force to guide him and let him see. 'Feeling' and hearing another rock hitting another tree, Arador looked in the general direction. Squinting when he thought that he 'saw' something. The teenager turned in the direction blinking in confusion when in a way he was able to see. Watching the rock next to him hit the tree, the teenager realized that he was now in fact seeing it. Not looking right at it due to hearing.

Arador looked away from the rock and tree. Looking around him as the teenager walked. Not stumbled. Actually walked as he observed all that he is able to see. Coming to a stop when he came across a fallen tree, the boy jumped onto it, laughing as he did.

Alek watched the boy run aimless for minutes, then started to move with more of a purpose. As if he was as normal as any other old person on the street with nothing to hinder him. Alek smiled then looked around for anything else he could use, hearing the boy begin to get closer that he liked Alek flipped back from his hiding spot to then find a new area if the boy wanted to win he had to catch Alek first not just find him.

Arador started walking towards the location Alek is hiding. That is until his mentor decided to move. The teenager is still getting used to his new found vision, so keeping it going was a bit of a struggle at the moment.

Looking up at the trees seeing if he can spot where Alek is hiding as well in the brush. Arador started moving with more calculated movements. Thinking, the teenager quietly climbed up into a tree. Jumping from it to another to force Alek to move so it will expose where the jedi is hiding.

Over and over, the young Jedi would get close to Alek but still would move away to dodge the boy. Alek wasn’t trying really hard but could tell the young boy was getting the hand of it, this went on for hours and the sun started to set when Alek stopped “Alright Arador we can stop for now, but I still want to ask you a few things while we walk back.” He said handing the young one his stick back, “How did it feel? How where you able to adjust during the training?” He asked these things as a cool wind blew and the small sound of the two jedi’s foot steps on the ground as they left the area to go back to the temple.
