A cold, comfortable breeze blew across the surface of the temple. The warm skies slowly approaching twilight as the hour of night grew near. A crimson haze illuminating the horizon as the Shadourian knight walked along the deserted marbled catwalk build along in a labirynth of other paths and structures on the mountains where buildings as ancient as the temple itself layed there, erected by the ancients of the Shadourian order.

He arrived at a circular balcony at the very edge of the mountain, observing the sun fall behind the mounts as the shadow of the night stirred across the sky, envelopping the world under a vail of darkness. He stood there, simply admiring the beauty of the stars which, one by one, enlightened the sky in their crystaline luminosity.

*Like a Whisper in the Darkness the Jedi Knight appeared behind him. His long brown hair blew about his shoulders as if dancing to the harmonic melody of the force. His voice was but a soft pitch of noise within the silence that enveloped the area. As his brown eyes, scanned the Majesty of the planet of Shadows, fuled with the Sapphire flame that burned within them.*

"Veran Rejin..."

Slightly alerted by his own absence of focus on his guard, the Shadourian blamed himself to be caught by suprise at the arrival of one in the silence of the night which he so embraced. He casualy turned to see the Sword Lord standing under one of the domed structures nearby. He bowed ceremoniously at his brother of the shadows, well remembering him from the past being one of the most praised students by the masters.

''You honnor me with your presence, Trillian.''

His dark gaze locked with those of the Knight, a grin drawing itself across his face.

''Why visit one such as myself in this desolated place, I am not nearly as much a prestigious student as you are.''

"One is not to be judged by what they have accomplished, but by who they are within. It is for this reason i came to seek out your time."

The Shadourian chuckled at the Sword Lord's comment, bowing slightly, accepting the compliment silently.

"Would you inform me of the reason then, my friend?"

The smile over the Shadourian's visage faded quickly. He nodded before turning his attention to the glistening stars once again. The aura of the Silent Shadow within the force became less perceivable as he drew further more within his focus until it seemed as if he was an emptyness within the force. Although such a thing was far from the truth for it simply was the way of the Shadourian to draw himself further more into the force... A way foreign to the Jedi's teachings and thus one could not see what he did not understand.

"Very well..."

He continued facing the Jedi with his back, blankly staring into the distance as his voice also grew into a whisper, his thoughts becoming as clouded as his aura; a shadow within the pitch of the night. All distractions of the mind cleared when he finaly spoke once again.

"What are your terms?"

"I would very much like to test the skills of the Shadourian Orders best Swordsbeing...if of course, you do not disapprove"

*A smile grew upon the shadow shrouded face of the Jedi Knight, as he removed from his head, the oversized hood in wich was draped gently over his skull to mask his facial features from the NIghts embrace, and thus embraceing the darkness that resided withn himself.

His heart's pace was of a casual beat. And his mind was slowly becoming devoided of all thoughts, and distractions that one could possibly believe to be an interference within a battle. This Man,the youngest Lord of the Sword, disguarded the majestic appearance of the outside world, and gave his mind to a focus of his own, it was the call of Riekon burning withn him.*

"You give me too much credit..." He said with a smile the Jedi could not see, immediatly fading back to his focused state, devoided of all expressions.

A hand drew itself higher as it reached for the dark hilt of the sword he carried on his back. Slowly, a soft screech of the metal could be heard as the blade was being drawn out of its scabbard. The silvery line reflected the moons appeasing shine as it passed through space in the same carefull, calculated pace until it reached its masters side. He didn't seem to take any form of stance, only the blade being held out in a way the Jedi could see its flawless curve fend through the wind as it blew strongly through their hair.

Moments passed with both of them staying like this until finaly the Shadourian turned to face his opponent, nodding his head in a silent bow before spinning the blade in front of him as he took a crouched position, the twirl ending over his shoulder as the Silent Shadow held it out paralel to the marbled floor, a hand stretched out in the same manner, awaiting the Jedi's actions.

*The eyes of the Jedi Knight seemed to beam with a sense of humble appreciation for the battle that they were about to undergo. For him, battle was an art. A representation of ones truest feelings, thoughts and emotions. His every thoguht angled his blade, his ever emotion executed the strike. His every feeling decided the force of its contact, and his very sould gave itself to Riekon's call. He assumed a stance, his hands grasping the double bladed weapon, whos hilt was nothing more grand in size that that of a single bladed weapon ignited within his hands, angleing it diagnolly to point lowly and out to the side past his left leg with his front blade, and his back extended high into teh air, a mirror of the angle of its counterpart.

He gave himself to Riekon, and he heard his own heartbeat sounding within his heart, voices of his soul whispered to him the tranquility that he felt when within this place, and thus he swung his back blade, in a smooth gently arc, towards the right shoulder of the Shadourian Knight, when just at the very last instant of his strike, when it seemed as though there was no time left to defend it, that blade dis-ignited with a gentle hiss and he struck instead with his front blade as he twirled his saber to strike at not the top of his shoulder, but the right side of the Knights body*

In a movement of anticipation, the Blade had followed the course of the Lightsaber yet immediatly stoped as the sound of de-ignition echoed in its weilder's ears. One foot stepping back in order to give him a stronger positioning, his eyes followed the course of the hilt quickly realising the presence of a second orifice in its structure. The fine line of energy reapeared as the Shadourian swiped his blade into an arc, locking both weapons in a clash of golden sparkles.

The blade of his new foe was much closer to him then he could have considered comfortable, although the mind of the Shadourian was now focused beyond reacting towards such a detail, he did not let himself be intimidated by the display of skill of the Jedi and quickly slid towards him, the point of his blade ready to impale his opponent.
