Exoleen/Random farmland
18:34 local time

spaceship-farm-barn-house-building-man-lantern-machine-fence.png

The Aggressor-class patrol craft was smoking from one of its thrusters. The controls were coming and going and it was shaking violently. Thankfully with the mess they had from trying to escape the Galleon, the fighters didn't have time to scramble to finish the job. But now they were heading right back to Exoleen's surface with a ship that's unable to slow down.

Sumas was fighting the controls with all his might as he tried to keep the ship in control. His arms were tired but he still kept going. Thankfully he managed to dodge the city and angled the ship towards the countryside and farmlands. "Hold tight. This isn't gonna be soft!" he called out to Eva. They were both worse for wear but that didn't matter now. They needed to survive this crash first and foremost.

The ship was angled right towards the barn of a random farm not too far from the city. Sumas tried to aim for something else but the ship wouldn't have it. They were going to hit that barn. The ship ploughed into the barn and came to an abrupt halt, jerking its passengers around rather violently. At leas their harnesses did their job well to keep them alive. Sumas groaned as he sat back in his chair. His head was pounding and he couldn't breathe. In a panic he yanked his helmet off and threw it to the floor, gasping for air. "Eva? Eva, you good?" he asked weakly as he turned his head to look at her.

Smoke hung in the cockpit and sparks were thrown all over. The ship did get some damage. How much would have to wait until they could stand on their own again. With a grunt Sumas unbuckled himself and slumped forward, resting his head against the dashboard. Something felt weird and he looked up. In the durasteel dashboard were two of the metallic horns of his helmet. Were it not for that he would most likely be dead...thank the Resol'nare for that save. He looked to Eva again. "Come on. We can't stay in here." he said out of breath and struggled to his feet.

She gritted her teeth as the ship fell out of control through the atmosphere, the exterior hull having taken some burn damage before suddenly wrenched forwards when it shuddered to an abrupt halt in the side of some unfortunate's barn building. She snarled something harsh and guttural, neither Mando'a nor Deucalic, before trying to claw open the restraints that once pinned her in place.

She sucked in a breath when a pain crackled down her spine into her legs at the movement, the shot wounds scalding and blistering painfully. Nothing else seemed harmed... yet.

When this was over, she didn't care who asked her for help, the answer would be no. At least for a few more months. Surely the galaxy wouldn't burn without her constant vigilance. She slumped to the floor when the restraints did finally unclip, uttering a low groan of pain as she clutched her hands to her side.

Icy eyes turned up to her companion, and she tilted her head towards the exit, before slowly limping upright, biting back another groan as the movement rolled another wave of nausea within her stomach. "Am fine. I have suffered worse. But... we need doctor, and to fix soon. Ve are fortunate to live." Her hand hovered as though it were to touch her stomach, but instead clenched to her side. Her lungs ached as though she had broken a rib, her back burned, and her prosthesis stump ached considerably with all the violet tossing, and the strength and abuse the cybernetic limb had undertaken.

They had to survive getting out of the wreckage first. Everything else would fall into place.

Sumas limped over to Eva and swung his left arm around her to both help her walk as well as keep himself on his feet. He led the way to the docking ring that still somehow operated without issue. The normal exit ramp might as well be a slide in a playground with its current angle, something Sumas didn't want to chance. The docking ring at least was at an angle that they could walk down.

He led her down the ring, but when they got to the bottom a farmer with a very big blaster was waiting for them. He held the blaster at the ready and Sumas' first instinct was to reach for his pistol, but both sense as well as the blaster hissing and clicking made him realise that trying to draw against the man won't work. Instead he raised the right hand to his helmet and slid it off with some effort. He held it in his right hand as his green eyes looked at the man desperately. "Who the hell are you?" he man asked angrily. Sumas could understand his anger. They just installed a brand new barn door without the door in the side of his barn that was most likely not even necessary. "Our ship got shot and we couldn't keep her in the air." Sumas said a bit out of breath. "Please, sir. We're badly hurt." he said.

"Why were you shot down?" the farmer asked sternly, holding the big gun on them with his finger on the trigger. Sumas looked at him for a second as he tried to gather his words. "Miscommunication. The Galleon up in orbit mistook our ship with one in the possession of a group of convicts. They opened fire before we had a chance to explain." he said with no hint of a lie in his eyes. The man eyed him and Eva for a good long while before finally lowering the gun. "Not the first time this wonderful "planetary defence force" of ours messed up like that." he said with a scoff and came over to help them to his house. "Believe it or not, things were better when the Sith were in charge. First the space port got sabotaged, then pirates attacked a freighter in orbit, now the security force is getting trigger happy over anything that moves in orbit." he ranted as they walked.

Inside his house his wife got two chairs for them and they were each seated. The wife moved to kneel beside Eva and helped her out of her armour while the husband looked him over. "Heavy armour, T-visor...you two some of those Mandalorians we've heard so much about?" he asked as he looked at the two of them. Sumas knew he was, but he didn't think Eva was. Not from a familiar clan at least. "Yeah. Clan Solus." he answered as he looked at his horned helmet sitting on the table beside them. The man simply nodded and leaned against the wall.

The woman got Eva's armour off and lifted the back of her shirt to look at the wounds on her back. "These aren't crash wounds. These are...blaster wounds." she commented and looked up to Eva. Sumas looked at her. He couldn't speak for the both of them with this one, though he had an excuse for a boarding party already in his head. No, this one she had to answer. The woman simply stared at her expectantly, waiting for an answer.

She hissed in pain as the woman tried to peel off her armor, twisting away slightly in reaction to the pain... but also in mild protest of it being touched. Instead she unclipped the upper back portion where the blaster wounds were made, clenching her jaw and resting her head on the table. She had to resist the urge to lash back at the woman, to smack away her hands and to subdue them both. But, if there were more of them around, that would simply borrow trouble where trouble wasn't worth. A partial truth would have to work.

"I was shot at while working as a distraction for a mission... in my condition, however, he," she jerked her head weakly in his direction, "decided an emergency landing to be checked over would be best. We did not anticipate being fired on though," she sighed, now wrapping her arm around her midsection, and giving a slow inhale, then exhale.

The nausea ebbed away, but the pain remained, and right now she wasn't really in the mood to be pestered with questions. If they persisted or things went sour, they would have to restrain these two (an unfortunate thing, as she had a healthy respect for farmers), and then seek help.

Both of which she was not looking forward to, especially now that her upper back was so exposed. She did not like lying or pretending defenselessness. If push came to shove, she would have to compensate these two somehow. And wouldn't that be an interesting conversation.

The woman looked at Eva, then to Sumas, and finally to her husband. He looked at the two of them then shrugged. "Like I said, the Sith were a helluva lot better than the clowns in charge now." he said with an annoyed tone. Sumas simply gave a pained laugh at his comment before starting to take his Beskar off as well. He placed his upper body armour pieces on the ground and placed his vambraces on the table.

The man came over and looked at the slumped shoulder. "You too?" the woman asked with a shocked voice. "I got this while dragging her to safety." he answered truthfully. That was probably the only honesty he had given thus far. After a while both warriors' wounds were cleaned and kolto bandages were applied to help with the healing. The farmers were kind enough to provide the two of them with a spare bedroom with two beds. Sumas collapsed into his bed, still wearing his holsters and leg armour. He was too hurt and tired to take them off now. But their discomfort quickly willed him to sit up and take the pieces and his boots off. "These kolto packs better work quickly. We need to get that ship up and running by tomorrow." he commented as he yanked a boot off.

Finally comfortable he looked up to Eva. "Now...mind explaining what happened out there?" he moved back to his original question. "You were almost there then suddenly you looked like you wanted to hurl your lunch all over the hangar. What happened?" he asked her sternly but not angrily. After all, why should he be angry? They got out alive and mostly in one piece, that's all that matters.

...How could they be so kind?

To Eva, it was the biggest shock of her life. Not only did they seem to accept their story(which was not going to be likely as the night drew on), but they offered them a place to sleep on top of that. She doubted she could, anyhow; to sleep like this was an invitation to be killed. They just needed to power through their wounds and fatigue, and get the ship back up and running. She figured it would not take long... and the farmers would be compensated.

She just did not relish a fight right now.

So when Sumas asked her point blank, there was only one obvious choice to be up-front and honest. She sighed, pinching her brow and shaking her head. Her ribs still sang, and her whole body ached something fierce but... no more twinges, no more pain. So that, at least, was all and well... The path of least resistance was easiest for now.

She finally glanced up, and gave a faint smile, though it was not a very happy one.

"I carry a child. That was the first time I ever felt... well." She coughed slightly, then shifted her weight, fingers lacing together. "I did not anticipate being jailed, breaking out or being shot at however. I was there on business... but when you showed up, the person who I was with turned on me." Her lips twitched into a more bitter grin, jaw still clenched tightly. The thin layers of phrik on her gloves creaked with the pressure. "And I have a weakness for helping those that are younger than I." Icy blue eyes stared at the Zabrak, deadpan, before shrugging.

"Besides, I know one of your own. He would not be happy if I broke out and left one of his behind." Blunt, straight to the point. But she would not give in to the luxury of relaxing yet. Now that they were patched up, they had to get moving. Like before, who knew how long they would have before law enforcement would come looking? The sooner they were off this planet, the better. Only after they would be close to Mustafar, could she learn to relax only slightly.

Sumas' eyes went wide. She was pregnant? Were she to wait a second longer she would have gotten a scolding from him for going nuts like that while she was pregnant, but she explained that it wasn't at all how her day was supposed to go. She made it sound like it was all his fault...and frankly she might have a point but he won't admit that.

She went on to degrade him as if he was a teenager compared to her. With the way she looks he guessed they were pretty even in age. Only difference is she clearly didn't have an easy life. She then mentioned knowing another Zabrak which caught his curiosity. "Well you got that right. We look out for each other. If you know Mandalorian culture, you might find a striking resemblance between theirs and Iridonian culture." he explained.

Too tired to talk further now he moved deeper onto his bed. "Well, get some rest. Can't remember seeing anything flying overhead after us so we should be good. Plus you need it. You got off a lot worse than me." he said and nodded to her bed. He moved up and laid flat on the bed without even getting under the sheets. "Tomorrow we've got a lot of work. So, rest up." he said and sighed heavily as he relaxed and practically melted into the bed.

The sun wasn't even out yet when a loud groan erupted through the house. Sumas rolled onto his stomach and then rolled off the bed to land on the ground with a thud. Every muscle ached and every bone popped as he got up on his feet. Thankfully the farmer was up and about already by that time. "I feel like I got hit by a cruiser." he moaned as he cracked his back into place. With a twist of his neck and a stretch of his arms a few dozen more pops went off. Groaning all the way he got suited up and dragged himself to the bathroom where he shoved his head under the cold water to wake up.

Finally suited up and ready he made his way to the ship to get a good look at the extent of the damage...and this might just be a touch above his skillset. "oh boy, this is going to be interesting." he mumbled to himself. "I hope Eva knows how to fix this mess." he said to himself. He could help and fetch the parts, sure, but he seriously hoped she knew how this stuff worked.

She chuckled wearily at his comment on Mandalorians, slowly leaning back against the bed with a low groan, shifting until her spine wasn't absolutely pressed into the thin, narrow bed. "Believe me, I know all about Mandalorian culture. One of another clan of yours happens to tolerate me... most days." She sank further down in, and sighed.

It was going to be a long day tomorrow.

She was up even before he was. It was a keen instinct, perhaps, one spent by several nights travelling the galaxy, but the Deucalian was not comfortable with sleeping in simply because there was a moment of peace. The moment she was awake she pulled her armor on once more, checked her weapons and snagged a quick cup of caf the farmer's wife had brewed. Both of them were both awakening as well to face the day, and making plans to remove the ship from the barnside. By the time the Zabrak arrived, they had only just managed to maneuver it to the ground, and Eva was pacing around, frowning and muttering, her datapad in one hand and tracing her fingers on the outer hull with the other.

Thankfully, the damage wasn't much, but the hyperdrive regulator was shot, and the navi needed a new drive readout converter. Not to mention the astrogation panel was pretty well done in... she'd have to rewire and program, and that would take a few hours at most. Time was ticking, and they would have to get started now if they were going to get anywhere before the end of the night.

She heard her name, and she turned around to face him from the other side of the ship, giving a snort of amusement. "You luck out, I am an engineer. Though I have built better," she commented wryly, then chuckling. "Thankfully, most of these parts are not expensive nor hard to find. Getting rid of the fire marks, however, will have to wait. Cosmetic change is not going to change performance."

She turned to the farmer, extending her hand. "I would like to compensate you as soon as we are up and running; you and your wife have been kind, and that kindness is not common. Thank you."

Sumas looked over to her, not having noticed her at first. He smiled as he took off his horned helmet and held it under his arm. She explained that the damage looked a lot worse than it was. She mentioned leaving cosmetics for last which made him smile. "I hear painting on racing stripes or flames adds like 20 units of boost or something." he joked. He looked the ship over then heard Eva talk to the farmers. "That's goes for the both of us. Thank you both. Seriously, you helped us out a lot." Sumas said as he turned to look at them.

The farmer scoffed with a wave of his hand. "No need. It was the right thing to do. Can't just leave you two to die like that." he said, brushing it off. Sumas had an idea that Eva wouldn't let them off that easily, but he left her to sort that out. He had nothing to give them right now. Perhaps when he got back home he could put a few credits aside or help out somewhere...

He walked back to Eva. "These ships are easy to fix up and can fly on wire and duct tape with what I've seen. The city's not too far from here. I can get the items for you while you work on the ship...or did you want to come along?" he explained his views. He would appreciate the company if she came along. Plus without the parts there wasn't much they could do right now. "Wouldn't mind a trained eye helping out." he added with a shrug.

She chuckled at Sumas' smart remark at the appearance of the ship boosting speed. At least he agreed with her, and she was sure it would function all right, but honestly it wasn't her personal taste. Hers were often smaller, lighter craft... but she itched for better ideas to present before her company, Blackwell, even as Sumas also assented helping the farmer. Though he disagreed, she knew they would make some sort of private compensation.

Just as soon as they would be clear of this karking planet.

"Ja, will come with you," she commented lightly, turning off the datapad and tucking it back into the small holster slot she had made specifically for that.

She had a feeling that this trip was going to cost her a pretty penny anyhow... far more than she'd anticipated. But hey, all for adventure, glory, and perhaps finding an alternate way for business connections as chief engineer. It was a shame that her previous source was now unwilling to share information.

She would have loved to scatter their body parts amongst the stars for betraying her for some credits, but that could always wait. She had nothing but time for that.

"Smashing!" he said and walked back to the ship. "I caught a glimpse of a swoop in the storage bay. Hopefully it survived the crash." he explained as he walked. He climbed back into the ship and a minute or so later the storage bay's ramp fell open, with Sumas pushing a swoop out into the open.

He took his helmet and slid it on before climbing on and firing the swoop up. "Hey, girl, you come here often?" he joked with as much a jock tone as he could muster. Once Eva was on the swoop he would rev it up and blast off to the nearby town. After a few minutes of low flying they neared the town and he slowed down. He crept the swoop into an obscure alley and stole a cloak to cover up his armour. Even if he managed to hide from the authorities, the T-visor wasn't exactly an inviting sight in the galaxy.

"Hopefully the cops are as inept here on the ground as they are in the sky. The last thing we need now is a shootout." he commented as they walked. They got into the main road of the town and in the centre was the town's marketplace. There was a bit of everything there. Guns, clothes, general goods...and not too far there was a shop that looked like a parts shop. Sumas tapped Eva's shoulder and gestured to the shop. "That guy looks like he's got some stuff for us." he said.

The shopkeeper was a Mon Calamari what looked like he had a good couple decades under the belt. He was busy wrenching on a part of some sorts behind a counter when the two convicts arrived. He looked up at them then looked back down and continued to wrench away. "What can I do you for?" he asked and put the part away to stand up.

Huh.

She smirked at the male, clambering behind lightly, surprising with her height and weight. "Not often, fancy meeting you here," came the smart response with a chuckle. A few hours rest and some caf, she felt almost human again. Almost.

She shrugged one armedly when he commented the local law; quite frankly, if they were anything like most backwater planets like this one, a few convicts loose were not enough to cause alarm or a manhunt. However, she shrugged on her own cloak. It was not the most conspicuous thing in the world with the Nexu fur and the colors, but as for looking a bit less like a marauder didn't hurt.

Straight to the point would do it nicely.

"Hyperdrive class 5 regulator. About 10 meters wire and astrogation processing chips for a navicomputer, switch converter, standard Kuatian model if you have it." The funniest thing was, she was a shareholder that took over Kuat… but old habits died hard around the colonies, apparently.

Especially when parts were needed.

Just in case... within her cloak, she kept a hand on her blaster. You never knew when the local law decided to snoop about and poke at new faces... and in a place like this, new faces were all the rage.

"You sounf like you know your stuff, girl." the mechanic said with a smirk and started to rummage around under the counter for the smaller items first. "Kuat, hey? Now there's a company that knows their ships. Of course, still nothing like the ships we build on Mon Cala." the man spoke as he worked, finishing with a teasing chuckle. Clearly he took pride in his kind's works.

He placed the stuff on the table then worked out the pricing for it. "Say, Kuat usually sells only to armies and stuff like that. What kind of ship you got?" he asked out of curiosity. Sumas decided to take charge. "Aggressor-class." he said simply, causing the man's eyebrows to raise. "Aggressor? Very nice, tough ships those are. What are you doing with it though? You one of them bounty hunter types?" he asked, quickly looking up before working further. Sumas shrugged. "Something like that." he said with a smirk. This guy was really chatty. Probably didn't meet many customers who knew what they were doing.

The Mon Calamari placed everything carefully in a box and handed it to Eva. "There ya go, 200 credits." he said and waited for the payment. Sumas looked at her through his T-visor. It was a little expensive as far as he knew. Hopefully she had the money for that because he didn't have anything on him. To put even more pressure on the situation, a squad of about 4 troopers came walking past. Sumas had confidence in their disguises...until he saw the pictures on the datapad of a trooper. On it were mugshots of him and Eva along with a picture of their armour. Sumas quickly turned away and looked back to Eva.

He made a subtle gesture with his left hand to point behind them then idly rested his hand on his pistol. He tried to look as casual as possible, but underneath the armour he was ready to draw at a moment's notice.

200 credits? For things like these... and he had them in stock, no less. Mon Cala or not, getting your hands on Kuat tech was no easy feat. Not to mention for so cheap... was business really that terrible, that things were sold at such steep discounts? She could believe it, considering just how backwater these planets could be... the cost of being dependent on the Empire meant many of them were coming up by their own bootstraps, and some struggled hard.

She glanced back, and gave a subtle nod in return to the chatty shopkeep, slipping over enough to cover it... and then some.

She knew the likelihood of their being called out would be far less if they acted generously, and fast; she moved so quickly that the box was hefted, and the chips deposited, almost before any could blink, with a tilt to her head.

"Nice doing business."

She swept out when the patrol passed; then tilted her head at her companion. If they took them all down someplace a bit less public, and quickly, the likelihood of being discovered could be so much less. They had a reputation to steer clear from, after all; strolling about publicly was hardly going to do it.

Eva paid generously and took the parts. The mechanic was very grateful for the payment and bid them farewell as he stached the credits away.

She then looked to Sumas and he nodded towards the direction they came from. He didn't want them getting into a gunfight if it wasn't necessary. He turned and walked to the alleyway, waiting only for Eva to catch up before leaving.

They were almost at the alleyway when Sumas heard someone call out behind them and a hand placed on his shoulder. He was stopped and turned around to look at...a trooper. The man held the datapad in his hands and he clearly wanted to ask about the whereabouts of the criminals, but he was staring right into the T-visor of one of them.

He opened his mouth to scream and alert his buddies, but with a sudden jerk he went quiet and blood started to pool in his mouth. He looked down in pain to see Sumas' wrist blade lodged into his chest and through his lungs. Sumas retracted the blade and let the man fall to his knees, then stared right at 3 very shocked looking guards. "Run for it!" he shouted and drew both his pistols, dropping one of the troopers before he had a chance to draw. He took cover in a doorway as the last 2 troooers opened fire.

He was being blocked off by their shots, but they didn't pay any immediate attention to Eva who looked more like an innocent bystander. That will most likely change in a second or so if they saw her helmet...

Run for it, seriously? Did everyone just assume that she wasn't going to choose to fight over survivability? But since Sumas was so considerate to take up being a distraction, she would oblige by covering for him, at least long enough to retreat to home base. However, she could have done without being dragged into another firefight... at least until night.

As they pressed him into a corner, two things happened simultaneously. The first was the box was dropped with a dusty thud to the ground. The other was that she wheeled around, gauntlet shield springing to life to center guard before her. Her Elduroxi hummed to life with a yellow crackle; though most glowed blue with thermal energy, this one was as unique as the hand that held it. And it seemed to crackle with the stun it had been equipped with; she gave a savage smile beneath her helm.

"Nei. The fight's just started." Just as the guard began to turn one towards her, starting to fire, she allowed it to bite into the shield, grunting at the impact before her ax flew forward. The man choked and stumbled back, the ax embedded deep through light armor, chest, bone...

By the time the second had begun to turn to watch his companion fly back from the impact, she had begun to charge forward, shield still in guard, and shove hard enough to hear the man's teeth click together, before she snapped up her second blade and jammed it into his side.

She was done playing. She waited until the man slumped and was still before nonchalantly dragging it out with a wet shick and wiping it against her left elbow, then wrenching her ax out of the other.

She turned to Sumas, and shrugged.

"Playtime over. Let's go, grab the box," before moving on. She just wanted back home by this point.

Sumas barely had time to register her comment when a vibroaxe suddenly flew past him and buried into a trooper's chest. He blinked then prepared to fire at the last opponent when Eva suddenly charged past and ran a blade through the last guy. He stepped out of cover and looked around for any more enemies then holstered his pistols with a spin around his index fingers. She looked at the Zabrak and shrugged. He shook his head slightly then shrugged as well. "Not bad, I'll give you that." he said then moved to pick up the box of parts. They bought precious time killing the troopers before they could get a message in, but they will be out looking for them. They had a decent window but they didn't have time to waste.

He let her drive as he drew a pistol and watched their rear. In no time at all they would arrive at the farm and Sumas would run to the ship. "Come on, let's get this ship up and running and let's get out of here!" he called out to her as he ran up the docking ring towards the engine compartment.

While he was not as clued up on ship repairs he did know his way around. He helped with the more minor stuff like wiring and small fixes of the systems while she handled the bigger stuff. He took the opportunity to learn some new stuff from her as well while they worked. After a couple of hours Sumas was finished with his work and kept an eye out for any approaching law enforcement. There were spotlights approaching but they were still far in the distance, closer to the city than the farm. Sumas was confident that they were safe as houses and all clear...when a shot rang out and zipped past his head. He ducked down and drew his pistol to aim right at the farmer and his rifle. "You lyin' karking scum!" he shouted as he held his aim. Sumas stood with a pistol on him and his finger already slightly pulling the trigger. "Drop it, old man!" he shouted at him while the wife came out to see what the commotion was about. No doubt the shouting would draw Eva's attention as well. "You lied to my face! You're the ones they're looking for! Martha call the cops!" he shouted at the top of his lungs. Sumas tensed up as he aimed for the man's head. "Lady don't do it! Sir, drop the gun! We can talk this through, I don't want to hurt you!" he shouted to match the man's tone.

"ENOUGH!"

Her voice cut across from the interior of the ship, a roaring bellow that clipped across like the growl of a wampa. When she came out, she was fully armored... and glared straight at the ashen Martha, who seemed caught between fleeing to follow her husband's orders, or staying to save his life. She clenched her jaw...

Then slowly removed her helmet.

"Ve are not here to harm anyone. But ve will if we must... and we will not harm those that have been kind to us." Icy eyes met the man head on without fear, placing a comforting hand on Sumas' shoulder without breaking eye contact. "Your officers cannot help you, and you know it. Vhen have they ever helped you? Your farm suffers because they cannot care. But you have an opportunity."

She slowly reached beside her belt; both of them flinched, but she showed them the pouch. The clink of credits was telling as she held it aloft, her voice calm. "][/COLOR]Here is enough for the damage we caused... and for your farm. Let us go, and your struggling home shall be plenty rewarded." Thankfully, all repairs had been made, and with a test all readouts read normally.

If she had to, they would fight their way out.

The rifle wavered when she held up the pouch, then lowered as it was tossed hard. Not towards the farmer... but towards his wife, who flinched back as though it were charged with frag grenades.

Kark, she knew she was gonna hear all about it when she got back to Mustafar and her credit number would be about 500 credits less than what it was when she left in the first place. But of course she got caught in the wrong crossfire... and the Mandalorian would just have to find some way to pay her back later.

He sighed then nodded, and she tilted her head. "I ever see yer faces again... you're both dead," he growled, stalking off towards his house as Martha scrabbled, her voice catching in a sob as she shakily gathered them all into her skirt and fled back.

Skuld waited until they were both loaded up, fired up, and exiting the system before exhaling, relaxing her grip on the acceleration gear and mapping out a general coordinate map and location to Mustafar. From there, Sumas could figure his way back home... but she needed a warm shower and a long rest somewhere soft. Her back still burned, her muscles still ached.

"Pay me back later," she muttered when astrogation confirmed a positive. It seemed in this route, at least, there were no gravity wells or anomalies between her and home... and right now she needed a taste of home. "Mustafar, punch it in for hyperspace. I don't have time to play anymore."
