It was only after hours of traveling through Hyperspace that the blurring of stars finally began to come to a still - signaling the group’s arrival. Within split seconds, the viewport windows were dominated by the reddish-brown surface of Tund on the horizon. Their destination and the location of this most recent assignment. While the planet was far and irrelevant to Imperial politics, its significance came from the group of Dark-Side magicians - the aptly named ‘Order of Tund’ who called it home.
While the group had enjoyed some relative degree of obscurity, a surge in activity and reports of movement from the group had inevitably drawn the Empire’s ire - not keen on allowing the group of Dark-Siders and their secrets to exist in opposition to the true Sith.
Vahliri couldn't deny the bit of anxiety that welled up within her as they approached the planet. The half-Annfyn had only recently been elevated to the rank of Champion, and this marked her time leading other Acolytes into the field. Nevertheless, she was committed to seeing this objective through to the end and rose appropriately to the challenge before her - not allowing those nerves to manifest anywhere close to the exterior.
As a result, Vahliri carried herself with a demeanor that was far more serious than usual - chin up and posture straight as she exited from the cockpit. She led this operation as a Sith Champion and the officer in command, and that was a reality prioritized before her familiarity with any of those in attendance. The half-Annfyn was adorned in her signature red-and-black robes, hair pulled back into a long braid while the curved hilt of her lightsaber hung openly on her belt.
With a droid pilot to guide the shuttle towards Tund’s surface, Vahliri stopped at the entrance to the passenger compartment - eyes drifting across the trio of Acolyte’s gathered there. “We will be entering the atmosphere and landing on Tund momentarily.” She began, hands knitting together in her lap. "Initial scouting has narrowed down Sorcerer activity to this sector of the planet, and verbal accountings from Toong villagers speak of tower hidden within the jungles. But it will be incumbent upon us to pinpoint its location." A task that would no doubt necessitate trekking through the rough and humid terrain. "The Order of Tund are known practitioners of illusionary magicks, and it is highly likely that they have taken steps to conceal their stronghold from ordinary sight."
As the ship began to drop down into the atmosphere, the group would begin to feel the strong turbulence that beared down upon them - violent lightning storms visible through the viewport windows as they punched through the clouds. "Once we locate their stronghold, our primary targets will be the Conclave of Elders - the trio of Sorcerer's who govern the Order and its followers." She paused for a moment, allowing a gap before she continued. "Our secondary objective will be to secure the facility itself, and the achieved that are rumored to exist within its depths." There was only rumors and second-hand accountings of the libraries that the Order of Tund possessed, filled with knowledge that the Empire would no doubt be very interested in getting their hands on.
The half-Annfyn paused once, glancing between those assembled. “Any questions before we land?”
