Hello, my name is irelivent so you may call me Omiya. I'm looking to join the rebels since there is no Galactic Alliance. I was wondering where I should start in regards to character creation. I already have a character in mind but I'm not really sure what to do from there. I've managed to find my way to the character profile section on the forums and a lot of your characters are rather impressive and intimidating. Should I just go ahead and write up a profile and wait for advice or is there a way to get advice sooner so I make less mistakes? I look forward to meeting all of you by the way.

Awesome, I'll check those links you gave me Taruna, and thank you both for the warm welcome, I'll be sure to post any questions I have here so as not to clutter the site with my ignorance.

So here are a few questions I have:
Am I supposed to make a sub-account for my character?
I see I have one point, did I break a rule or something?
If my character was born human but has cybernetic implants should I list her as a human or cyborg?
Is there some sort of chat system or easier way to ask these questions then this? If not that's fine just seems inefficient.
Will I be required to get my girl's implants approved by the tech administrator? If so how, the tech boards appear to be closed.
The profile template asks me to describe my character's constitution, is this in relevance to how hard she is to take down or her medical health?

In regards to my question about implants, I want Omiya to have cybernetic eyesight and hearing that is beyond that of normal humans, such as being able to see much farther as well as thermal detection and increased reflexes as far as her cybernetic eye is concerned. Her cybernetic ear is simply meant to be a replacement of one of her ears and has no special functions. I was also hoping to give her something similar to the Implant communicator found on Wookieepedia. Outside of these I have no intention of giving her further or more extensive cybernetic enhancements, at least at this point. Would this be allowed, would it make her overpowered or something? I'm not all that certain since cybernetics are suppose to be very advanced but also rather expensive and new characters only start out with 1000 credits.

EDIT: Her cybernetic eye is only one of her eyes, she's blind in the other one.

To answer your questions, No, you don't have to, but you may if you'd like.
Points are just trophy points awarded for things, don't worry about it.
Depending on the extensiveness of her cybernetics that's entirely up to you, I would suggest listing it as Human (Cyborg), but if the implants are minimal, than I don't think its necessary, Cyborg should be more for like Vader or Grievous or similar characters.
Other than Skype or PMs you can leave a message on someones profile, otherwise not really, this is it.
Depends on the implants and what they do. If they're pretty standard implants, I.e. Aren't anything special or particularly unique, then you're fine. Like if you have a cybernetic eye which lets her see in the normal spectrum and like infrared, it's probably fine. If you want it to do more than that you should ask @Clayton. For example, you say you want thermal detection and increased reflexes, but you might need to be more indepth about that. As far as the techboards closed, that pretty much means you can't have special implants or tech, but as I said before, basic generic tech/implants is fine.
Both, it's up to you really.
As far as the implant communicator being allowed... I think so? Clayton would be able to specify one way or the other. And your starting gear, that is, your implants, won't be deducted from your 1k credits.

Yeah, Ral has the gist of it. My advice would be to stick to fairly standard implants and not try to go overboard with them.

The Approval may need some time, but this should not stop you to start RP'ing already ;)

Yeah, I've been approved, now I just need to find something to do, the rebellion dosen't seem to have all that much going on at the moment, at least from what I can tell...

Thanks @Galad J. Victus this isn't my first time RPing online in formats similar to this, plus I spent a few days snooping before I signed up.

@Boertjie I wouldn't want to impose that on you, plus trying to shoehorn a character into everything your jedis get up to would be rather difficult. That being said I'm sure we can come up with something our characters can do together somewhere, although Omiya is currently limited to where she can go since she doesn't have her own ship.

Cool, we can do that. Any idea what you'd like to do or where? Personally I'd like to do something can will help the Rebellion in someway. If that means taking out a target for the bounty, stealing intel, or doing something to sway the public opinion in our favor. I wouldn't mind something a little more laid back but Omiya isn't the type to make friends with someone she hasn't fought next to.
