"...then you have constituent calls from three to five, and then a fundraiser from six through to nine. It's the 'Security Contractors Consortium' annual dinner." Garr Antilles sighed as his scheduler rattled off a collection of commitments he had forgotten had head agreed to. It was lunchtime now, and from what he could tell, he had nothing on "You've done the speech, though, right?" he asked, his scheduler nodding and gesturing to his datapad. He smiled, standing up "See, all in hand." Garr scooped the datapad off of his desk and headed toward the door.
"Don't worry, don't worry. I'll be back for three." he smiled to her, putting on his jacket and holstering his DL-44 on his hip. "Don't look at me like that, pal; this is Coronet City; people expect the Mayor to be packing heat." the scheduler didn't look convinced as Garr pinned on his lapel badge the Corellian flag, and headed down the stairs to his waiting speeder. He wasted little time, stepping inside the J-type, an exotic speeder that was afforded to him as Mayor of Coronet City.
His driver was a friend from his time in the army. A stern-looking man, Clovis and Garr had quite literally been through the wars together. "Let's go" the speeder kick up speed, a second larger speeder containing security droids followed as an escort. They made haste for the lower end of Coronet, just outside the reclamation yards - passing unnoticed, yet with speed, through some of the shortcuts his driver was aware of. Pulling up at the side of the road, where he had asked his two contacts to meet him, he slid open the door to his speeder, and gestured to them both as they came into sight. "Get in."
