BIOGRAPHY
Vaeron comes from a rather powerful clan that lived on the planet Panatha. His father was the son of the famous Aeon Vallaeris, a proud man who cared only about his family’s reputation more so than the individuals in his family. Aeon feared that his son’s gambling debt would sully the family’s name, and so in order to protect his family’s name he paid for his son debt. Later, when he found out that his son got some common lady pregnant, Aeon took the boy away from his son and raised him as his own. Aeon made sure that he held full custody over Vaeron, and only allowed his son to visit Vaeron. During these visits, Aeon would often remark how foolish his son was, and he would point out Vaeron's father's flaws. From these interactions, Vaerion would eventually form a deep-seated hatred for his father, and he would find the man to be a disgrace to Clan Vallaeris.
Aeon would train his grandson at the age of four to be a warrior, just like every epicanthix who practiced the old ways. During these training, Aeon would instill a sense of fierce loyalty and pride in his grandson, and he would often remark that ‘the man who places family above all else would be the victory’. Following his family traditions, Aeon would take his grandson on hunting trips, in which Vaeron would learn survival skills and lessons on the harsh reality of the galaxy from which his family survived. Aeon would then test his grandson at the age of ten, during this test Vaeron was forced to survive alone in the wilderness for six months. After passing this test Vaeron was given permission to join the imperial academy, where he was tasked with bringing honor to his family- which would be done by excelling in the academy.
In the academy, Vaeron was known to be incredibly ruthless in his ambitions to succeed. His instructors would often praise him for his fierce determination, and utter ruthlessness to get a task done correctly. It was around this time that his grandfather’s health would start failing him, and Aeon would write to his grandson congratulating him on his victories. Vaeron graduated the imperial academy at the age of eighteen, and it was around this time that it was discovered that he was force sensitive. Aeon recognizing his grandson potential convinced Vaeron to join the Sith order, and that in time Vaeron would inherit the family fortune. That sadly would never come to pass, as his father came into power upon Aeon's death, and ruined the clan- which requires Vaeron to restore the family to its rightful place and return the clan to its former glory. Until then, however, Vaeron is learning the ways of the dark side, and gaining power with each passing day.
Personality
Vaeron is someone who is obsessed with living up to his grandfather’s expectation. For that reason, he had unconsciously adopted some of his grandfather’s behaviors and traits. As a child, his grandfather instilled a sense of ruthlessness in him, which was done when Aeon left him in a savage untamed land. Aeon also made sure that Vaeron wouldn’t be emotionally weak and taught him that how and when to portray his emotions. From these lessons on how to control embrace one’s emotions without losing control, Vaeron has adopted a rather cold and calculative demeanor, which is different from most Sith. While most force users within the Sith order allow their emotions to consume them, and in return become an unstoppable furnace of hatred and anger. Vaeron has learned how to master his emotions, control his anger and hatred, and in return become a cold blizzard of destruction. Unlike most Sith, Vaeron does not worship the dark side instead, he simply sees it as a weapon and tool to gain power. Another thing that Aeon instilled into his grandson, was an incredibly deep sense of loyalty to his ‘family’- take note that his loyalty to family is to his family name and not to the individuals in his family. Vaeron’s intelligence was one of the main reasons that he managed to graduate the Imperial Academy, alongside his analytical nature, charisma, and skills in manipulation. Vaeron, however, is capable of being compassionate and he does show to have a soft spot for children.
Skills & Abilities
Diplomacy- Vaeron is intelligent enough to weigh political reality against a desire for personal, and petty revenge. Sadly, though his Vaeron has two distinct flaws when it comes to diplomacy. One, he will always seek to promote the interests of his clan, even at the expense of others. Two, his methods are incredibly cruel and even inhuman at times, as he often uses fear as a way to control people.
Strategy- Vaeron is known to be a rather capable strategist. This is due to his rather analytical and observant mind, these traits do allow him to break down the situation at hand. Then once he has broken down the situation, he can carefully determine what is the best plan of action to take. Furthermore, Vaeron is known to utilize mental warfare to break his opponent's spirit and willpower, before finally going in for the killing strike and ending their suffering.
Lightsaber- Vaeron holds a fascination with Lightsaber combat. He finds lightsaber combat to be an art form, and he takes great joy in learning this sacred art. Vaeron has taken a liken to form II makashi, and plans to become a master in the lightsaber form. He recognizes form II weakness, however, and for that reason, he also plans to learn form III soresu- in order to compensate for form II short-comings.
Force Powers- Vaeron is still an apprentice in the dark side of the force. For that reason, he has decided to create a basic but useful skill set in the force. He is shown to be skilled in the art of telekinesis and is known to use it rather creatively. He will commonly use telekinesis in conjunction with his lightsaber sequences- he uses it to keep enemies off balance and surprised. He is also capable of utilizing force lightning and seeks to achieve complete master in the ability. Vaeron can also augment his strength through the force, use mind-tricks to deceive enemies, and use the force to create barriers.
