Ved Lyuban was born in the family of the infrastructure engineer on Coruscant. Despite the fact that the planet has been importing food and supplies for its cooking, the Municipal Authorities (where Ved's father has been working for almost whole his life) demanded their own production. At least on the basic level. Head of Lyuban's family with the assistance of a few other agriculture engineers had taken an attempt to build greenhouses on the high levels of Coruscant. That is where young Ved had obtained robotic skills by working with industrial droids and drones which were designed to maintain greenhouses in the required conditions to grow plants. Ved continued to work with robotic greenhouse system until he finished one of Coruscant private school and with father's assistance developed the greenhouse system fully autonomous and capable to maintain by a common robotic technician without special education. In general, Lyuban was good at both schoolwork and working with robotic equipment, and learned how to drive multiple vehicles such as Swoops and Air speeders.
When he had hit the age of twenty and filled himself physically strong enough, he enrolled himself in the Coruscant Security Force. He spent five years in the police as a droid mechanic (primarily for testing new scanning and combat protocols) and usually was patrolling the various Coruscant's districts being accompanied with droids. Night shifts were his favorite. During his service, he got some combat and diplomatic skills by solving problems in the Underground with criminals and by guarding alien diplomatics. Later on, he demanded more opportunities and thus retired from the Coruscant police to the private security company on Eiattu as a private bodyguard and a pilot for private traders and human diplomatics who need a protection on the planet. Between his flights, he also worked as a droid mechanic and a gun master on the local weapon market. The planet had much fewer rules and laws compared to Coruscant, so Ved enjoyed his staying on the Eiattu. Especially when he got familiar with Thaks and even thought about the job of a Thaks trainer, however, a desire to travel had won. And while he wasn't able to buy his own property, the planet become his second favorite place of living if ever such a choice will be stand.
After five years of living on Eiattu, Lyuban had bought a small, but the fast ship and started to work as a mercenary picking well-paid contracts for the next fifteen years and slowly increase his piloting and combat skills (thanks to pirates who tried to rob him, but instead Ved was robbing them). He enjoyed his work as a mercenary when one day he had signed a contract with a Tiss'shari trader who was looking for a reliable and brave courier between Mid and Inner Rims. It was pretty standard and almost no risky job and once the contract was completed, the trader has gone. But because Ved's finds Tiss'shar's too attractive for him, he began to look for more of that race. Almost the same, Ved can say about Chistori, whom Lyuban helped with service droids.
It was a moment when Lyuban should admit, that sometimes he working not for credits, but just because he loves someone. Until he hadn't met a Tiss'shar trader, he hadn't no such feeling and satisfaction of a completed contract was the only feeling he desired. Although the trader hadn't paid too much, the idea that he helped to who he likes was more than a good explanation of his deed. The same was with a Chistori traveler. That is why Ved Lyuban had bought a new ship and in the present time is in search of well-paid work and representatives of Tiss'Shar and Chistori race in order to work for them. He's simply their... fan and if one day someone could ask him with whom you want to spend your last days, his answer would be with one of those reptiles.

Although Ved is a mercenary, he is a man of honor. That means, that he always mind about his job and if his actions can lead to a death of innocent people, he will refuse it with no doubt (but may ask if the kill is a mandatory part). And even he will be forced to kill he will do only if a situation demands and no other choices are left. Likewise, he dislikes any forms of racism and Nazism, ready to kill anyone who will show it forms. Especially if that someone treats species which Ved’s favorite ones. Namely, Tiss’shar and Chistori. To the last ones, he expresses an interest and searching for different ways of cooperation with them as he just very attached to these species (mostly because of their appearance).
Lyuban is a friendly, reliable guy (especially when it comes with alien races) and will glad to get your offer, albeit it doesn’t guarantee that he will accept it. But he always watching carefully for anyone who wants to make a partnership with him and quite often Ved searching for partners by himself. Exceptions are his favorite species. Because he is a fair man, he always will do as his contract requires and will share profits with his team in case one day he can gather it. If you’re a fair and responsible man, willing to work hard and travel a lot, you can apply to become part of Ved’ team.
Generally speaking, Ved is a venturesome man and you can note by his passion for Sabacc and other gambling games. It also reflects on the way he acts - he can take a risk if the reward for the risk is high enough because Ved simply won’t do a work which doesn’t have or has low profits. The same applies to his team - his teammates should be brave enough to work with him because sometimes Lyuban decisions may… wonder you and even drove you mad. And as Ved will tell you one day “you only live once”.
Coruscanian never sits in one place for too long and travels a lot from the planet to planet and have a wish to visit Chistori and Tiss’shar’s homeworld. He really wants to become a famous person and trusted partner among them, that is why you can easily find Lyuban on planets or orbitals, hanging with these reptiles. However, his main points of interests are abandoned, ancient places where he usually looking for antique treasures or something that can improve his ship or a weapon. He also can help his team with their personal goals, should they request for assistance. Unfortunately, risky work had led him to the love of a strong alcohol (like whiskey) and it can be used against him. Being drunk, Ved can sign himself for any job and basically becomes very talkative, but you need to expect an arrogant behavior from his side and if he like you, he may express a sexual harassment upon you and tell dirty jokes.
