As the title says, this thread is about video game! Old ones, new ones, obscure ones, all of them. Favorites? Least favorites?

I can remember playing some pretty old games, like Delta Force 1 - Task Force Dagger. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and it's expansion pack, Spearhead. As well as Rainbow Six: Rouge Spear and Black Thorn. Then comes the Ghost Recon series, all of them. Really enjoyed the co-op those games.

And my favorite series, Halo. Combat Evolved was epic. 2 was alright, but had great multiplayer. 3 was my favorite game of all time. ODST had a nice feel to it, I really liked it. Halo Wars was lots of fun, one of my favorite RTS games. All around a great series. (Except for Reach and 4, **** those games. Reach didn't feel like Halo, enemies took way to much ammo to kill, etc. 4 Was a CoD clone other than the campaign)

I buy the CoD series just because they are great games to sit down on the couch and play with friends. And they have lots of easy achievements. MW2 would be my favorite there, though zombies in the first Black Ops was probably my most played aspect of the series. Didn't like MW3, as it was basically MW2 with different weapons. Black Ops 2 is fun in multiplayer but I never really got into zombies. I think the series will have a big break soon, as it has gotten pretty bad.

Star Wars: Battlefront 1 & 2 were awesome. Still playing them today. Same with Republic Commando. Battlefront 2 is definitely my favorite Star Wars game.

I really like the 5th cell game Hybrid (Downloadable game, Xbox 360 only I think), it was fun for the first couple months until everyone left and it took five minutes to get one match. I AM ALIVE, the downloadable game by Ubisoft was REALLY REALLY FUN. I can not stress that enough, never mind the out dated graphics and the slightly buggy climbing system. Probably one of my favorite games.

SSX 3. Best snowboarding game ever. Of all time. No joke, played that game enough I can quote everything ever said by any character, and know every race like the back of my hand. Probably better than that actually. I LOVE THAT GAME.

Need For Speed was the only racing game I really got into. I like Hot Presuit 2 a lot, simple, not many glitches, fun game play.

League of Legends. That is pretty addictive (Slated For Death is my summoner name, beware I suck pretty badly) My friend got me into that, I like it but I really can't compete will most of my opponents :P

Back to old games! The WWII game Commando Strike force was fun, very difficult game but fun. Stealth based primarily, which leads to the next games, Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell. Haven't played Splinter Cell for awhile, but I remember it fondly. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Revelations were the top of the series I believe.

Skyrim and Oblivion. Skyrim, Halo 3 and Battlefront 2 are my favorite games of all time. I can not stress how much I love the Elderscrolls series. Amazing games, every gamer should play them.

Dead Space 2. I love that game. Beat the whole game in one night. NEVER AGAIN WILL I MAKE THAT MISTAKE. I broke several things from jumping backwards while playing. They did a great job at setting the mood for that. Haven't played 3 yet, and 1 was alright.

Running out of games now, uhhh. Sins of a Solar Empire is fun. I have had a lot of fun luring AI into carefully set traps then watching them all blow up XD It's a great RTS game (TEC FTW) It's pretty easy to spam cheap units and overrun anything, but still fun.

Pokemon! Emerald was my favorite, but I have nothing against the newer games, I'm just too poor to buy them... Seriously, I love those games. Still playing Sapphire. Mainly because it's the only one I have left.

Kirby the amazing mirror. Fantastic game. Didn't like the other games too much, but I loved that one. Simple, easy, and fun.

Since every game is getting a sequel soon it seems, I think the price will go down on older games, so I will be at Gamestop a lot pretty soon :P If I ever get a job...

Any games I should play? Any games you all like? Let's get this going!

EDIT: I forgot Lost Planet, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War, minecraft and Fallout. All good games, Highly endorse Lost Planet, not a huge fan of Minecraft. Haven't played much of Fallout. Left 4 Dead is great, Gears of War is phenomenal.

Legend of Zelda? Surprised if you haven't played any game in that series. I've been getting into Castlevania and King's Quest recently, especially the former. The latter is a very old game series (as in, the first one was the first game with animated graphics), but is mostly good. Xenoblade is one of my favorite games of all time, and I find it a damn shame few people have played it. Mirror's Edge is another game that I really liked, and I keep hoping that the sequel gets saved from development hell. I've never been one for FPS games, but Dark Forces/Jedi Knight, Half-Life, and Bioshock were really enjoyable for me. Civilization, too; probably the only strategy game I'm half-decent at, as opposed to Age of Empires. Not that I hated it, of course, but I'm just really bad at RTS games.

I've watched a lot of Legend of Zelda, but never played any...Half-Life and Bioshock are just examples of me being too poor to buy games any more :CCry1

I kinda suck at RTS games too, the only one I was ever really good at was Halo Wars, but most others are just clever strategies that are usually destroyed by other players.

I need to look into the other mentioned games :CHappy
