To any and all current (And potential) Anti-Imperial Indie characters. I would like to start an Alliance "allied" Revolution group called the Galactic Liberation Front. They will commit various acts of terrorism and sabotage in both Imperial and Chiss space. Anybody interested? i have a write up in the works.
Write Up
This just in, on the Imperial News Network! A holo has been sent to us from the leader of the Galactic Liberation Front, claiming responsibility for the Bastion Space Port Bombing earlier today.
Liberators. Terrorists. Freedom Fighters. Thugs. Evil. Heroic. Of all these words that have been used to describe us, above all. We are passionate. We fight to lift the oppression of the Empire. A hundred generations have fought against this oppression, and if needed, a hundred more will fight as well! Until the vile Empire is defeated, we will not rest. There will be no reprieves. We have killed three of your Naval Captains, one Admiral and thirty three other lower ranking officers. And after today, our greatest triumph, we have killed over One Hundred and Thirty of your citizens, and that number will grow. Do you think we enjoy killing the innocent? Do you think we enjoy blowing up your space port? Defacing a monument that has stood since BEFORE the Republic? NO! We do not wish to see such things happen. But until this vile machine is gone. Until this corrupted Empire is defeated. We will continue these acts, until the bitter end. My name is Saint Lonnah, and I will watch your worlds burn.
History
Formed in 982 ABY, the Galactic Liberation Front (GLF) is the newest (And most powerful) Revolutionary Movement to challenge the Empire. While mostly unpopular, when the Sith revealed themselves in 1,002 ABY, thousands began to support the GLF. Several companies that operated within Imperial Space, such as notable robotics manufacturer, Novarrin Robotics, began to fund the GLF (Albeit, secretively). In 1,005 ABY an ultra-extremist sect of the GLF broke off and began to operate on it's own. This group was called the Way of the Force. The Way began to bomb civilian targets as well as sabotaging military installations and assassinating Imperial Officers. The Way considered them part of the GLF and labeled themselves as so, but what the Way did not anticipate was the press. As soon as the Way began to hit civilian targets, the Imperial Government immediately began to air holos of the acts. This had the opposite effect that the Way intended, and support for the GLF went down. In an effort to regain support, the GLF entered the Way's base of operations, having them believe that the GLF was sending recruits. These so called "recruits" were some of the best of the GLF. These troops stormed the compound and eliminated many of the Way's leaders, and the Way returned to the GLF as their crack troops. Public support from both the Alliance and (Secretly) inside the Empire rose, and by 1,011 ABY they stand at over 100,000 strong. But secretly, the leader of the GLF (the Saint) is utilizing the Way, and plans to start a revolution throughout the entire Galaxy.
Purpose
To destabilize and overthrow the Empire. Long term goal: GALACTIC ANARCHY
