WANTED: Two New Admins

Hello everyone! As the site continues to grow and we continue to bring on more members, we’re constantly evaluating how we as a staff can best serve the site. We want to ensure that we have the most coverage as possible for resolving disputes, as well as having clearly defined roles for each admin. As we finalize the roles for the admins, we have decided to bring on two new administrators.

One of these administrators will be a Role-Play Administrator. RP Admins resolve RP disputes and can help organize events. This is a critical role in the timeline, since RP Admins are responsible for ensuring that the timeline, battles, events, and so forth run smoothly.

The other position is a new one, called Profile Administrator. The Profile Admin is going to be responsible for keeping an eye on and being the guardian of the Character Profiles board. We’re not changing the process of character profiles, meaning we are not requiring that they be approved, but we as a staff want to take a more proactive role in ensuring that there is nothing disputable in the profiles and that everything follows the rules. So you won’t see a Profile Admin approving your profile so much as telling you what needs to be changed so it fits in the rules, and that will be done in cooperation with those of you will read and review profiles already (since we expect that peer review process to continue). Please note that the Profile Admin role will require a larger time commitment than RP Admin, as our goal is to also review older profiles of in-use characters, so please take that into account if you apply for the position.

14. (for RP Admin applicants only) What is your philosophy for dispute resolution?

19. In recent weeks, the Middle East has become a more prominent point of discussion in the United States presidential campaign. President Obama has argued that the recent protests and embassy attacks are bumps in the road on the way to peace, suggesting that things may get a little bit worse before they get better. Governor Mitt Romney has argued that the Obama administration’s foreign policy is not clear and lacks the necessary strength required in American leadership. Taking these respective points into account, what’s your favorite color?
