Hello Everyone!

It's good to meet you all and I hope I get the chance to write with some of you soon. I'm afraid I am an unrepentant newbie to the world of Star Wars RP, but I always wanted to write in that galaxy far, far away. In fact, when I was maybe seven years old I came across what was intended to be a 'novel' set in the Star Wars universe, and heavens was it bad. But I think I've gotten better sense then! At least, I really, really hope so, lol. You can check out my fresh off the presses character here. She's purple, so that's cool. If you have any feedback on the profile or any general advice I'd love to hear from you, and of course I am here first and foremost to write. If you've recently been writing a thread somewhere and thought to yourself, "Self, what this thread really needs is a lightsaber wielding purple Twi'lek" then look no further!

To give you guys a little bit of background on the writer behind the lekku, I'm a university student in the USA. Though I've actually only just returned a few days ago from several months spent in Beijing so you can be sure that I'm eager to get back into the world of writing. While I've never done Star Wars RP before, writing has always been one of my passions, and I've been RPing for the past six years or so. I'm eager to meet folks from the community, so drop me a line, say high, and admit that you wish you had more purple characters!

Hey, we do plenty children snatching, thank you very much. Mebbe we just didn't want a purple skinned twi'lek. :P

Yeah, I've been around here a while so my char's are usually quite fleshed out. I'm sure we'll meet each other on the battlefield at some point!

It's good to know there are noble Knights ready to deflect the criticisms of these Sith-heads running amok in my intro thread. I'm sure you and I will be bumping into each other at the Temple any day now, together we can refute the powers of those-who-got-oatmeal-raisin. And while it may not be very Jedi of me to say so, I'm glad Redneck is plotting against you instead of me, lol. At first I was all "I can totally take her! For the Order!" and then I looked at her profile and was like, "Let's avoid her." Lol,

Fun fact, its a personal peeve of mine when evil, traitorous Jedi go and blow up Temples. It really has the potential to ruin your whole afternoon, you know? On a more serious note, at least I'm joining at an exciting time. Was the Temple at least evacuated when it got blown up or is the Order just not doing too hot right now? Oh, and also, is there going to be some kind of retaliation for their treason? I'm getting a strong sense that these folks might be "too dangerous to be left alive," lol.

I looked at both Leira's and Dominique's character introductions when I was trying to handle the layout and such for my own, so thanks for making good posts! I was actually looking at some of the missions the Order has been doing recently, and some of them seemed pretty simple (like handling kath hounds for example). I thought it might be interesting to see if a group of Padawans could handle some simple mission like that, though I don't know if Padawan only groups are allowed to go on missions or not, it might be cool to see Sevi and Leira interact, it seems like Leira could use a friend, lol.

Yeah, that's because we forced the old leader out that promoted burning worlds and killing people in the name of peace and justice.
