I always feel like an asshole when I have to do this but a few points of contention need to be clarified.

"kicked the stranger's left leg out from under him" There was no aiming, no attempting or trying, which makes this an autohit. That's a no-no.

"at best he would fall, at worst his strike would be weakened and clumsy" With the sliding of the right foot, most if not all of my weight is firmly planted on the left. You said it yourself, "to create a strong base", and with out any added strength, augmentation of the Force or aim at a specific weakpoint, I'm not convinced your kick, autohit or not, would do much of anything.

"the Padawan felt a warm sensation at his stomach, despite his action, Joshu had failed to notice a second attack" - implying the katana made full contact no matter what happened with the kick. Feather tickle to death.

And this where the Souba would crash down, but I don't see any mention of it. We can't just pretend it doesn't exist even if the kick had worked. It was said previously "at worst his strike would be weakened and clumsy", but it's still a bigass sword headed your way, it's still there and it still needs to be defended against regardless of how weakened or clumsy. Continuing the sentence, "enough for Joshu to protect with his now ignited lightsaber", I don't think it's enough to say so simply that "I defend your attack" especially when it's from a massive weapon with momentum and gravity on it's side. Even gripping the saber with both hands would still require some degree of added strength to block, clumsy or not.

"He thrust his palm at the stranger using the force to knock him backwards" Maybe this was meant to stop/cancel the Souba? But even if the katana didn't already disembowel, it's the same as the kick - autohit, nope-nope.

I'm open to interpretation if anyone else has a different point of view on what went down.

Take your time when you write battle posts, you're not that dangerously close to the limit yet.

All that aside, I am in agreement with Kiba. Additionally, josh, do keep your combat attempts down please. I see a lot of actions you're trying to take and force in this thread with no regard as to whether your first was even a success. If you fail to kick Kiba's leg out, then what? Do you realize that being able to kick his leg brings you dangerously close to his blade? Suddenly, a light strike becomes deadly.

Just read carefully mate.

Thanks for understanding guys, I have amended the post now. Hopefully it is alright, less actions have been taken and i think everything works. In regards to the kick and force push however auto hitting wasn't my intent, i realize i just need to word it more carefully to be crystal clear. If you can't make the post and you've warned your partner then it's up to him whether or not he let's you go another 24 hours past the 48 limit. But if you exceed 72 hours, he will skip you whether you've told him or not.
