Location: Cato Namodia, The Blue Rancor Restaurant

Kalanda arrived to the invitation from Avan, unsure as to what the padawan was planning. She hadn't expected him to reach out to her, but he had, so...against her better judgement she was here. She figured the boy had come to his senses and wanted to join the Sith; hopefully this wasn't some attempt to woe her, because...just no. Still, the restaurant was supposed to be rather fancy, so she got the best dress she could afford and was now waiting for the padawan to arrive. Just in case things went south, she had her lightsaber strapped to the inside of her leg, though she doubted she would need it; the boy was weaker than her after all, she could defend herself if needed. She did wonder how the boy knew about this place, or how he was going to afford paying for dinner; this was Cato Namodia, it wasn't cheap after all.

The young woman stood at the entrance, waiting for Avan to arrive. A small part of her wondered if this was perhaps a mistake, that maybe Avan was just trying to lead her into a trap, which was certainly possible after all. Still, if this was what she thought it was, she would be bringing back Avan with her, maybe she'd consider making him her apprentice assuming he survived initiation. But she was getting ahead of herself, she was just here for....well whatever the reason he wanted her here, she could only hope the boy wasn't plotting anything.

The past few months had been particularly painful for Avan who knew full well that the choices he made affected not only him but his family too but after voicing his concerns about his incompatibility with the Jedi to Reuben he was met with threat and hostility which only confirmed the hypocritical nature of the Jedi in his eyes. After all he had done and said, he didn't think the Jedi would ever trust him again so it seemed there was only one way to go and soon it would be set in stone. A restaurant seemed like the place least likely to cause the scene but mostly they were gathering here because of his wry sense of humour and inability to take anything seriously. After all, that's what the Jedi were, a joke.

"Kalanda, Hi!" He called out to the acolyte as she waited outside the restaurant as he approached her. "You're looking lovely, shall we?" He spoke coolly and offered her his arm to walk inside but just shrugged when she didn't accept, not bothered by her rejection in the slightest, that wasn't the reason for them being here. She was probably very weary and rightly so but it would all make sense soon, at least they could have some fun in the process... Well Avan would at least. They entered the building, Avan refusing to disclose any information yet, they still had a third member of their party yet. "Table for three, please." Avan told the waiter as they entered the restaurant who led them to a small round table with three chairs at it and three menus on the table. He said nothing to Kalanda, instead opting to flick through the menu until the Jedi knight arrived.

Sakadi strolled through the streets of Cato Neimoidia's capital city. The early evening made the district filled with restaurants seem romantic, as she not only encountered Neimoidians, but all kinds of visitors and restaurant goers. A neatly clad Gamorrean couple, Togruta's, Twi'leks, Rodians, she saw them all. Not just with her eyes, but through the Force as well.

The Knightess had never met the Padawan who invited her before and that made her wary. It was as if a stranger invited her for dinner, and she actually showed up. Not because she trusted him, no, because she didn't. Something was off here. Why did he ask her, a Jedi Knight out for dinner and not his friends among the Jedi? He had ulterior motives, that was something she knew for sure. Therefore, she kept her senses open, in tune with the flow of the Living Force. If anything or anyone was out of place, she would know.

But not all of it was shady, dangerous and required her to stay serious. No, this still was an invitation to dinner at a fancy restaurant. Therefore, she couldn't let the chance slide to wear a dress again. There weren't many missions as of late that required her to work undercover or blend in with the people, so she was delighted to be able to dress up in upper-class civilian clothes again. What did slightly disappoint her though, was the fact that she couldn't bring all her tools to deal with the situation at hand. Thus, she had decided to take the essentials with her, namely her blaster pistol and lightsaber, which she had strapped to her right and left leg respectively, hidden under her moderately wide dress. Furthermore, she carried her holopad for easy communication.

Arriving at the front of the restaurant, Sakadi immediately sensed it. The cold, dark presence of a Sith. Alarmed, she immediately wanted to reach for her lightsaber. Her red lightsaber, the one she got from Mid. The man who she loved, and the man who had asked her to stay out of battle as much as possible. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Don't turn this into a fight. You promised.

As she entered the restaurant, she was met by a waiter in a fancy suit. She swiftly took out her holopad and typed the few words she thought would suffice. Sakadi Marathi Sinvala. Reservations under the name of Avan Azari.

The waiter nodded and gestured at a round table, with two people already being present. She assumed the man to be Avan Azari, but the woman? She was definitely the dark presence here, but who was she? A bit reluctant, Sakadi approached the table. She quickly typed a few words again, before displaying the content of her holopad. Good Evening. Would you like to explain why we are here?

Kalanda glanced down to Avan's offered arm, then back at the man, confused as to what he was trying to do. She hardly even paid his compliment any mind, was he seriously trying to hit on her? "Um, no." She said firmly, before following the man as they were escorted to their table. "Three? It isn't just the two of us?" Kalanda asked, her tone sounding a fair bit annoyed. He never mentioned there was going to be another person showing up. As the pair were sited down, Kalanda glared at the padawan, annoyed that he was merely flipping through the menu. Kalanda didn't touch hers, instead trying to get Avan to answer her. "Avan. Who is this third person? You never said a thing about a third person."

That's when she sensed it, there was another force user here, one that was equal, if not greater than Kalanda. It was all pure and warm too, yuck. The acolyte turned her head, trying to find the presence as it moved towards their table. It was a woman, of a species she had never seen. This was a jedi knight? Kalanda scowled at the woman, then to Avan. What an asshole. The woman showed a holopad, showing her name. Why wasn't she talking? That was odd. Kalanda sighed, knowing that starting a fight here would be pointless. She wasn't in danger yet, so there was no need to get crazy. Opening her eyes back up to the woman, Kalanda's scowl melted into a indifferent look. "My name is Kalanda, apprentice to Darth Kados, and your...padawan here invited me under false pretenses." She muttered, glaring towards Avan as he was probably using the menu to deflect Kalanda's angry gaze. She was more annoyed at Avan for lying to her rather than the jedi knight for showing up. This was not going to be a pleasant experience.

Avan was finding the whole situation comical, especially since no one else had a clue what was going on, but he remained calm and collected, even as Kalanda tried to pry some information from him. He could sense her annoyance which to be fair, was justified but it would all make sense soon enough, maybe she would even find it funny, not that he cared if she didn't. He hadn't met Sakadi before and didn't know her very well but he had heard snippets of information about her from others, namely her inability to speak and her somewhat pacifist nature, something which he hoped could be taken advantage of in this situation.

When Sakadi approached the table, Avan stood up and greeted her. "Good evening Sakadi, glad you could make it." He said coolly, pulling out the last seat at the table for her. "All in good time." He replied to her question as he returned to his own seat. "Oh I'm not her padawan, I'm not anyone's padawan, in fact I'm not even a padawan at all and it wasn't false pretences, if you wanted a date Kalanda you should've just asked." He said casually before diverting his attention to the menu. "Ooh the fish looks good." He said idly, not giving away much information to the pair, there was no reason they couldn't have a nice dinner together in the midst of a galactic war.

Sakadi nodded at the Padawan as he greeted her. His answer to her question, however, was frustrating. What was there to explain? His next exclamation though, made her realize all too well what was going on. He tried to hide it beneath layers of jokes and humor, but the single mention of 'not even being a Padawan' was what made her aware of what was happening. He no longer called himself a Jedi.

As Sakadi sat down, the Sith introduced herself. An introduction that would've paralyzed the Jedi, had she not been a capable actor. She was the apprentice of Darth Kados. The Darth Kados, the man she had fallen in love with. It made her even more reluctant to fight. She glanced at the former Padawan beside her, who seemed entranced by the menu. Did he know what was about to unfold? The danger he had brought upon the civilians present in this restaurant? From experience, she knew that most Sith weren't evil. But the Dark side was the Dark side. She couldn't let him turn his back on the way of the Jedi, be it through force or through persuasion, she would not allow it.

She was already in tune with the Living Force. If Kalanda would make any unexpected moves, she would be able to react. Before she would do anything rash, however, she decided to give one last warning.

Her hands quickly moved over the holopad, as she typed her message and showed it to Avan. This is your last chance to explain what you intentions are.

Kalanda was pissed, very, very pissed at the padawan or whatever the hell Adan was calling himself now. She didn't want any issues with the knight, that could very well be the death of her. Avan now had both women glaring at him, it was frankly a miracle his menu hadn't caught fire yet. "Avan." Kalanda demanded, her hand smacking down on the table, enough to make the tableware on it shake. She was losing her patience. First the boy lied to her, now he was stalling after inviting a jedi and sith to a dinner. Who the hell did he think he was?

Kalanda kept her senses open however, unsure if the knight was going to attack her or not. If she did, Kalanda would be ready, thankfully she had her lightsaber on her person. Fighting in a restaurant would get messy, especially with civilians all about; last thing they needed was the Banking Clan coming down on them. At this point, Kalanda didn't care if the boy was the runner up for Emperor, he was an idiot for pulling this stunt. "Sakadi, was it? I don't want any trouble with you, and I don't think the Banking Clan would appreciate it either. If this was any other time, I'd be more than happy to trade blows with you," Kalanda paused, focus firing her gaze into Avan's menu, with a gaze so intense it threatened to burn through the menu the young man was holding. "But I think this one here has some explaining to do, for both of us." When the young man said he wanted to talk privately, this wasn't what she had in mind.

Tensions were already rising and Avan knew he couldn't keep up with his facade for a long time because his company would only put up with so much. He looked at Kalanda with surprise when she slammed her hand on the table and finally put the menu down, looking at her then at Sakadi's holopad, it didn't look like either would put up with this for much longer. He had to admit that angering Kalanda was probably not the best move but it was so funny and he couldn't take the situation seriously and he didn't care if he angered Sakadi.

"Why can't we just have a nice meal together, this is probably the only chance we'll get." Avan sighed but was not met with a positive response. "Alright fine, I brought you both here because I'm leaving the Jedi." He said, crossing his arms, aware that this would likely rise tension to breaking point. At this point, he had already been rejected by his cousin and couple likely no longer return to his home planet without being targeted, he had nothing left to lose and he was bitter towards the Jedi for their inaction towards the things that mattered and how hypocritical they were. There was nothing that could be said or done to convince him to return to the Jedi, he had already taken too many actions against them which weren't without consequences, namely inviting them to this restaurant.

It was as she had expected. Avan indeed had quite a bit of explaining to do, but she had guessed correctly. He wanted to leave the Jedi Order. Wanted. But that was no option. Leaving the Jedi Order was not an option, it was a life commitment. If Avan thought that he would just be able to walk away as if nothing happened, after informing both a 'representative' of the Sith and Jedi Order, well he had another thing coming. While Kalanda had no intentions of turning this into a battle, Sakadi saw no other outcome, despite her promise to Mid and the fact that they were surrounded by civilians. But if she didn't prevent this here and now, how many more would die? No, she had to make a choice. A choice she didn't want to make.

Her hands moved over the holopad again, displaying yet another message. You don't 'leave' the Jedi Order. It's a life commitment. Know that I will not allow this. She hoped that her message would be loud and clear. She had been building her energy for a while now and she was ready for any move that could possibly be made against her. Before any of them would be given a chance to act upon the rising tension, however, a waitress arrived.

"Good evening and welcome to the Blue Rancor Restaurant! Have you made your choice or should I come back later?"

Not wanting to involve the waitress into their discussion, Sakadi thoughtfully placed her holopad with its screen down on the table. With a small gesture, she pointed the waitress to Kalanda first.

This would have been wonderful news, if Avan had just told her over the comms like a normal person. Of course the knight at the table wasn't pleased either, nor was the acolyte. What the hell was the point of this talk? Kalanda looked to Sakadi, then to Avan, then back to Sakadi, as an uncomfortable silence fell over the table. Kalanda flexed her fingers expecting the knight to attack her, because they always attacked first. She didn't want to start a fight here, way too much publicity and attention would be drawn, not to mention how many civilians would die; that would get bounties on their head for sure.

Sakadi threw the waitress at Kalanda, trying to distract her, but Kalanda was sick of the silent treatment shit and kept her eyes on Sakadi. "Ma'am, we'll need another minute. Please." She affirmed, locking a glare at the jedi, as the waitress was banished to the shadow realm; in reality Kalanda just ignored her existence. She needed to make this clear, because as nice as having two lightsabers to turn in would be, Kalanda wasn't in the mood for this. "Listen, Sakadi, if you want to defend your mans honor we can do that outside, but right now I think you should redirect that case of resting bitch face towards the former padawan there." Kalanda stated with every ounce of seriousness she could muster. They needed to find a solution for the little idiot at the table.

"I thought you'd say that." He replied to Sakadi. "But I am. I don't want to make this commitment, you can't hold people hostage in an Order they don't want to be in, it's no wonder so many people defect." He said coldly. Any compassion and understanding he had for the Jedi was now gone, they were strangers to him now then again maybe they always were, he never felt like he truly belonged there. His company were suitably annoyed with him for bringing them here and then for his lack of communication but patience is a fine virtue that apparently neither seemed to have.

"Me? Kalanda, you're supposed to be on my side!" He frowned. If she wasn't on his side then the situation could go downhill very quickly, he was no match for Sakadi alone. It seemed like the situation would inevitably end in a fight of some sorts, though that was what he had been trying to avoid. Avan sighed and stood up from the table. "Do you ladies want to do this more privately?" He asked, looking at each of them in turn for confirmation. He was slightly nervous now, unsure which way things would go, maybe he had annoyed Kalanda too much but he showed no emotion, he didn't want either of them to undermine him.

Her response was immediate and this time delivered through an entirely different medium. The harsh and authoritative tone of the Jedi's normally so gentle voice would echo through their heads. "Oh I will redirect this 'resting bitch face' towards him, but I'll do so when we're back on Jedha. So, Kalanda, is it? For the sake of you being Mid's apprentice, I'll turn a blind eye and let you walk away. If you do so right now." Perhaps it was a mistake mentioning the former name of Darth Kados; it would undoubtedly make the Acolyte realize that she knew him. But there was no turning back now though.

Sakadi turned to the former Jedi, who now stood in the middle of the restaurant. "And I suggest you sit down again Avan. There is nothing I have to discuss in private with either of you." she exclaimed, her attention back on Kalanda for the moment. She didn't know how the Acolyte would react to any of this and she was definitely more dangerous than Avan. Not that she underestimated him though, no, she was fully aware of every move he made. She could feel the tension building again, if anything were to happen, it would happen now. And if this turned into a fight, she was not going to hold back. Of course, the civilians were here top priority and so was her promise to Mid, but this wasn't your average battle or situation. Besides, no one would blame the Jedi Order. For once, she was happy to have lost her original lightsaber for the red blade she currently wielded. Even the most unintelligent lifeforms in the galaxy knew that a red blade meant Sith. Nobody would suspect her to be a Jedi Knight, so she was free to engage whenever she felt like it.

Kalanda seemed rather weirded out by the woman's voice echoing in her head, that she initially thought it was an attack; though she quickly realized what was actually happening. The knight wanted her to leave, and that wasn't going to be an issue in the slightest, though she did want one thing before she left. "Of course, my lady." Kalanda's voice was dripping with sarcasm, as she briefly made a motion to leave, but stopped herself. "I only want Avan's ligtsaber. After that, I'll depart. My master will want to know what I have done here, and I'd like to have proof." Then it hit her, how the hell did this woman know Mid? Not Darth Kados, Mid, she used his first name like she knew him. The audacity of this woman.

"How do you know my master?" Kalanda asked, the mostly calm face she held dissolved into a suspicious scowl, as she canted her head towards the woman. There might not have been sabers drawn, but words were going to be exchanged her in a little while depending on how Sakadi answered. "Sorry Avan, this is more important. You're a fool if you honestly expected me to take you in after this nonsense." She said, not even looking to the padwan, there was no point after all she was never going to see him again. Frankly she wasn't sorry either, it was his fault for being an idiot about this. The tension wasn't going away anytime soon, as now Kalanda wanted to know how the hell a Jedi Knight knew her master's name.

Avan was surprised when Sakadi's voice echoed in his head, he had never heard about her being able to do that with such proficiency and had never had anyone communicate with him telepathically before either. "I'm not coming back to Jedha." He replied incredulously as he sat down after Sakadi's next comment. He didn't know by what means she thought she was going to get him back to Jedha but if there was going to be a fight, and there likely would be because he wasn't about to come peacefully, then he knew he wouldn't hold back but if Kalanda wasn't going to be on his side then he seriously doubted his chances of beating Sakadi in a fight.

"No, you can't have my lightsaber." Avan scowled at Kalanda, with the way she was behaving she was on the way to becoming his enemy and soon he would have have no allies after rejecting the Jedi and being rejected by Kalanda. If Sakadi took him back to Jedha to be trialled by the grandmaster then there was no doubt he would get exiled and couldn't return to Corellia while it was under Mandalorian control, his only hope now was joining the Sith, one way or another. He was noticeably on edge now after this realisation as shown by his body language when he shifted uncomfortably. "Fine, I don't need you." He said angrily, feeling betrayed by Kalanda after she was the person who initially encouraged his doubts of the Jedi. He would have to find another way to join the Sith but first he needed to figure a way out of this situation...

At first, she was relieved that Kalanda accepted her conditions. She didn't pay any attention to Avan's comment on 'not going back to Jedha'. Did he not understand? It was not his choice to make. He made the choice to invite the Jedi and the Sith over and he would have no influence on the outcome. Besides, his opinion wasn't her greatest concern. Having used Mid's true name, now that was a mistake on her part.

Sakadi took a deep breath as the Sith Acolyte stared her down. "You should ask your master. Your lack of knowledge is not my concern, it's his." she stated with a little annoyance present in her voice. She was aware that this could possibly provoke Kalanda and cause her to lash out, but the Knightess didn't want to explain it. Of course, she could come up with a story. State how they were 'rivals' or something, which wasn't that far off. But this was none of Kalanda's concern.

Avan's exclamation had Sakadi frowning. What kind of man-child was this Padawan? She understood that he didn't want to part from his lightsaber, but did he have to add a 'I don't need you?" Because it was apparent to the Sephi that he, in fact, needed the Acolyte if he wanted his plan to succeed. "Avan. Give her the lightsaber."

'My lack of knowledge?' Kalanda thought rather bitterly, as her hands gripped the table cloth, starting to rethinking the idea of fighting the woman, but that would make the Sith look bad, no that wouldn't do at all. Avan was a non factor now, all Kalanda wanted was the lightsaber and an explanation, then she'd be off. "It's going to be your concern in a minute." Kalanda stated, leaning forward, though she knew it was an empty threat. She couldn't start a fight here, it wouldn't lead to anything good. Kalanda's eyes went to Avan for a moment, before dismissing him once again. "You don't have a say in this Avan, unless you have a good reason for why I should even take you with me." He was a non entity as far as she cared, whatever good will the boy had built towards Kalanda was gone now. "So, you're going to take Adan and execute him like all the other exiles? Is that correct?" Kalanda asked, thinking she might provoke Adan into starting something.

Sakadi was right, Kalanda was needed for Avan to get what he wanted, unfortunately this little stunt he pulled put her in less than favorable terms with her. "Your lightsaber please, we wouldn't want to make a mess in-front of Sakadi." Kalanda asked politely, realizing that being argumentative was only going to cause bad things to unfold.

As they spoke a presence would start to loom over them. A cold presence. Colder than the massacre of Mandalore, than the ancient battle of Ilum. A familiar presence had arrived...

Mid had heard of a potential new member that wanted to join the Sith. A former Jedi of all people. It was an interesting development to say the least, and who better to carry this out than his apprentice? So he hung back, letting Kalanda take the lead and secure the former Padawan...only, he felt something odd in the force. A familiar presence had decided to meet with his young apprentice. This was becoming more and more interesting by the second. It might come to it that Darth Kados needed to intervene.

The Salvation opened and Mid disembarked, using the force to find his apprentice and 'rival'. It wasn't too hard to do, given the flaring tempers and building tension sending ripples through the force. He arrived at the restaurant a bit later, dressed in more casual robes. To most, he seemed like a normal Sith acolyte. To the party present, it would be quite clear who he was. He strolled into the restaurant and quickly found the bickering girls...and apparently one of them was actually a man.

"Kalanda, I see you found our young recruit...and apparently we have a friend here as well." he commented, looking at Avan and Sakadi. "Sakadi." he said flatly, his golden eyes staring through her. To everyone it seemed like he held absolute disdain towards the Jedi. But his eyes held only amusement as he looked at her. She knew he was simply putting up an act.

He looked at Avan then with a wave of his hand the boy's lightsaber clipped to a hidden part in his robes. "May I join by the table?" he asked politely. He was armed to the teeth as always, but it was all hidden in his robes. Even his demeanor showed no ill intentions. When the waitress passed he called her over. "May I please have a..." he glanced at Avan's menu. "A large chocolate milkshake? Thank you." he said and she ran off to get him his order. "Now...why don't the adults speak for now." he said rather coldly as he looked at Kalanda and Avan. His golden eyes pierced through them to make sure they kept quiet.

He looked to Sakadi. "Why are you harassing my apprentice?" he asked flatly.

Avan shot Sakadi a look, why would she allow this? "No! Why would I do that?!" He asked incredulously, besides he didn't answer to her anyway. If she seriously thought he was going to hand over his lightsaber to a Sith acolyte and just waltz back to Jedha with her then she had another thing coming. If a fight were to break out here then his lightsaber would be his only chance, he knew he wasn't strong enough in the force to rely on it alone and it looked like he might be walking away from this alone so a lightsaber would be his lifeline. He narrowed his eyes at Kalanda as she spoke, growing more and more angry with her. "No, because that's not the Jedi way." He mocked Kalanda and Sakadi. "No." He said firmly to Kalanda.

After a moment, Avan could sense a fourth force sensitive presence, one that seemed to be aligned with the dark side at that, and he tensed, waiting for them to show themself. When Kados walked into the restaurant, Avan glanced between him and Kalanda, looking for a telltale sign of recognition between the pair which was then confirmed when the man addressed her and then... Sakadi? He quickly put two and two together and realised that this was the Darth Kados, Kalanda's master, which immediately made him feel on edge and noticeably so.

When Kados took the lightsaber, Avan knew there was nothing he could do to stop him, he reached to grab the lightsaber with quick reflexes but decided against it, he needn't risk going up against a Sith Lord or causing a scene in a place where civilians could get harmed so he put up with it, for now. He knew better than to get on the wrong side of a Sith Lord so when Kados spoke to him and gave them a look which meant he was not to be trifled with so instead he folded his arms and directed his glare towards Kalanda who he knew was much less of a threat.

The words echoed through here head. It's going to be your concern in a minute... what did she mean by that? It couldn't possibly be that... no, this was not something a Sith Lord would concern himself with. As she directed a second question at Sakadi, the Knightess felt obliged to answer truthfully.

"Execute him? No, we're not savages." she conveyed with aversion. What would happen to him, however, she decided to keep secret. Again, it was not Kalanda's concern what would happen to the self-exiled Padawan. Luckily that answer would be enough, for Kalanda turned back to Avan. Just as Sakadi felt a familiar presence arriving. A presence that suddenly made her feel self-aware and in need to impress the latest guest to their 'dinner'.

Sakadi swiftly brushed a loose lock of hair out of her face. How was she looking? Good? Her dress was simple, had she known the Sith Lord was coming, she would've worn something more impressive, because she feared that this would not be enough to catch his attention. Wait, why would she even try to impress him? They already had something going on, didn't they?

Kind of excited and waiting for his arrival in anticipation, she ignored the conversation unfolding between Avan and Kalanda. She did well to hide her anticipation, but it was certainly not unnoticeable. That was, until he actually arrived. The Sephi pursed her lips disapprovingly as Kados arrived. She would've angrily yelled at him, had she still been in possession of her voice. Why the hell was this man openly wearing the armor of a Sith Acolyte, in a rich neighborhood on kriffing Cato Neimoidia? Not to mention, armed to the teeth? A trained eye could easily spot the contours of the vast array of weapons held by the man. And that was bad for all of them. No doubt the Neimoidians were already informing the security forces of the city.

The Knightess gritted her teeth; her excitement had turned into the polar opposite, as she glared at the newcomer. She didn't answer any of his questions, but simply directed a single message to him only. "What in the kriffing name of the Force are you doing!? You're endangering everyone here by wearing that armor!" Her tone was harsh, angry even, and her glare had not lessened one bit as she demanded an answer.

Kalanda didn't pay any heed to what Sakadi and Avan were saying, as she felt that familiar sensation creep into the room. She turned her head to face it, wondering why he had come, did he change his mind about letting her come here? "Master..." Kalanda muttered, as she witnessed Kados arrive. "Yes Master, this idiot invited his master here." Though she had a bewildered look upon her face as Mid addressed Sakadi. How the hell did they know each other? Gritting her teeth, Kalanda scowled at the woman, seeing that Mid was addressing her directly.

Kalanda wanted to add in another word, but was rather devastated by Mid's assertion that the two older people at the table talk. How could he humiliate her like this? In front of two jedi, okay one jedi, but never the less...why? Kalanda wouldn't admit she was pouting, but to Mid it would be quite obvious that was what she was doing. Her lips twitched in annoyance, as she sighed and looked away, knowing her part in this evening was effectively at an end; she wasn't even getting Avan's lightsaber out of this. The damn fool was probably going to get taken back with them now, and the chances of a fight breaking out were even higher. Wonderful. Just great. Mid was always too busy to train her personally, but he wasn't busy enough to burst into this event she had worked so hard to arrange, just to sentence her to the kids table.
