Where we stand?

A general thread to assess a general question, inspired by the "Are the sith invincible" thread.

Where do we stand, in terms of our organizations outlook on the other factions? We obviously aren't sided with the jedi, that much I know for certain. But where do we stand on the subject of the sith? Or the rebels in general?

Having everyone on the same page early, before this becomes a very pivitol question and causes potential infighting and fracturing, might do some good. Where do your characters stand? And where do you think the Bogan should stand on the issue?

Keywork Engineering Systems is very opposed to the Sith Imperium, and is currently attempting to rally as many allies as it can to overthrow the Sith by assisting the Rebellion. We believe that the Imperium is full of dissent, and we want to exploit it. It is the right of the people to question their government.

I think this thread is in regards to the position of the Dark Jedi of the Bogan faction, considering it is in their OOC subboard.

Correct. Reason being the DJotB haven't really had this sort of thing brought up. Not sure if the current status is undecided or not.

Ohh... Well I believe it is a very relevant subject for all of the Indie Factions. Maybe we could move it to the Rules & Discussion Board?

Feel free to start your own thread, Sentry. However this thread is intended to be a discussion among members of this faction, so I don't think it's getting moved.

Very well then... I shall depart. *slowly backs out of room one step at a time*

That's a toughie. I myself am not entirely against any faction as a potential ally in the future, major or otherwise. And I think that's how we should be. But I personally desire more fleshing out of our identity before I can choose or even want to choose. It is good that we think about this, but there's no rush imho. We are unknown to the universe currently, unless someone's selling us out in some thread I don't know about. Lol. Crap, I probably shouldn't jinx us. I think unknown is how we should stay for a while. Unknown and unaffiliated. Plus, I'm pretty sure Green Ranger has lots of plans and only Ben has read the cliff notes...

Hola, mishamigos.

You all bring up valid points, but don't be mean to poor ole' sentry! *gives cookie*

There is a reason we haven't talked about it, we have a butt-load of plans, and we are keeping them secret for now for various reasons (don't want to ruin the story!)

We appreciate things have been slow going, but once Boli's plans get rolling, we are gonna have the awesomiest stuff.

Butt-ling is right though, we are not in a rush yet. We are still hidden and unannounced, and we are still in the process of forming our identity. I will say this though, don't rule out anything. There is a massive amount of stuff down the line for is in way more than one respect.

My character personally, however, is a pretty good guy in someways. He is nuts (PTSD) and disillusioned in a dangerous, 'I'm going to go start an anarchist Fight Club' kinda way, but he wants to better the galaxy and wider society. He is a show of how you can use the Dark Side and still have good aims, regardless of you methods.

Hope this helps.

Oh you ^_^

Ben Dover... that name haunts my childhood.

Butt-ling isn't a pun though, it's just his name.

What is it? I'd like to cut through the mystery before it drives anyone nuts.

Let it be known I only play sane respectable people. That being said its almost to easy to break sithies. To break sith you simply play in their inherit paranoia. They'll do the rest for you and you can sit back and watch the show. Dead acolyte here and there, a masters plan messed with. Or I prefer the more direct approach myself, perhaps a package containing organs of the aforementioned acolyte or slice him in half darth Maul style, but still alive, that always makes an impression. God I was raised so wrong.
